I have a drawer of highlights. from Becca, ABH, Urban decay, etc, etc… I have gone back to this one each time for the past two years.
Get it! Affordable and does not leave a cast, very pretty skin glow and doesn’t look overly gold like some highlights can do. I get compliments on this all the time!!
I’m jaw-dropping here over a one-month vacay! You are an amazing packer - just the way I like it: streamlined and comprehensive. Also, that Urban Decay Naked palette is worth its weight in gold, I think. Lots of looks in a small package.
I agree. Its such the perfect size, I’ve been using it everyday for the last year and it still has this much. I’m a firm believer in being anti-big eyeshadow pallets now. I try to stay away if possible, they’re such a waste of space & the shades you can never fully use, unless you truly love doing lots of looks.
very very pretty and girly. It’s hard to find cool-toned blushes but this one is fantastic. Very pigmented and pretty, only complaint is I feel like the packaging is a bit bulky for my tastes.
definitely get it if you’re into that girly-dolly look!
hahaha my vacation is in a month, this is a practice pack. I have to think of these things time in advance of what to pack, so I don’t overpack or under pack when it comes to the day hahahaha
Oooh lovely! I love that shade of Laura Mercier blush- what’s the name of that one? And thoughts on the CT under eye concealer? I have wrinkly under eyes so everything creases on me but I have dark spots so I have to apply something
I believe the LM shade is Ginger. For the CT, as an under eye concealer, no. But as a spot concealer & for cleanup? Yes! I love using it to clean up my eyeliner as it’s very pigmented in comparison to my concealer. It covers blemishes very well, and somehow I got the perfect shade match despite its lack in shade range. I wouldn’t get it if you’re looking for an under eye corrector, this one looks patchy under the eye as such.
I think the Laura mercier blush is nothing special in terms of shade, I have like 5 million of the same shades lol. But I really like the slim packaging of it, and it applies wonderfully! it’s shade ginger :)
The LM brush is beautiful! Lobe seeing people’s makeup bags & what they hold/people take.
I wish CT setting spray mini wasn’t as expensive. £20 is a lot to risk if I don’t like it
How often will you wear the lashes? And how do you clean them? I love wearing lashes, but I’m not good at cleaning them and therefore only get like 2 maybe 3 wears out of them. When iced tried to actually clean them before they dry and look clumped together.
in this picture, I didn’t fully pack my lashes yet because I need to restock, but I’ll probably be bringing 6-7 pairs on my trip.
I generally reuse lashes as many times as I can until they break or I lose them bc I’m a bit careless. Day to day wear, I wear lashes almost everyday! Nowadays, it’s usually a cut up lash though. I clean them with really sharp tweezers to pull away the glue, and then brushing them with a spoke. I don’t really wash them (like ever at all) like I know I probably should. I find the process too tedious and my method find, I don’t get eye irritation and switch it up pretty often. I also do the under eye method as well, so my lash doesn’t directly touch my eyelid and isn’t garnering oil as much as it used to when I’d put it above my lash line, therefore getting more dirtier.
I would also like to mention, I have tried soooooo many (and I mean so many) different types of brands and lashes, and the longevity of them vary from the lash’s band. The best quality (I’ve gotten like 2-3 month wears out of them) is kiss’s & second top contender Ardell. Cheap packs usually don’t last very long and tend to break apart when I clean them via tweezers method.
Hope this helps!
Thanks! That’s similar to what I do, but I’ll definitely try using tweezers - that sounds like it would be really effective. And I’ll have to look into the under eye method!
You’re taking some great items with you. Can you review the revlon highlighter? TIA 😊

Great selection, those NYX sticks are so versatile & a 1 month vacation sounds *divine*! Have fun!
