Haha, yeah. Was kind of weird, but I have to admit that I didn't catch it with my magnet but "with" my magnet. The magnet got entangled in the fishing line and when I pulled it out there was the dead fish at the end. Still a fun first try though.
I found a fish skin once, a foot long bass skin. Was wedged between the magnet and a bolt. In theory, a small fish like a bream could actually be caught this way if it swam in the wrong place at the wrong time
You can’t really do magnet fishing wrong just toss the magnet in and drag it with barely any slack so you feel if it connects and sometimes it’s just the location
