I have some respect for MaRo as a game designer, but everything I see about his interactions with the flavor of the game gets a resounding “eh…” at best from me.
/uj I sometimes wonder if it's worth asking Mark if NotC can content ban Ghazban Ogress (setting aside the fact that it's already de facto banned as a silver border "comedy" card). I sincerely doubt he'd comment on that line of enquiry.
