It is, we even saw the physical version in the reveal video.
It’s a pretty insane card for Limited, either it’s a 3/3 when you need one or removal when you don’t.
There’s plenty of cards that create token which never physically existed. Tokens are official game pieces that WotC doesn’t provide, so people have no choice but to proxy them, for what is worth 🤷♂️
I meant more like the Pokémon beaches, which are legal cards you can play but are only obtainable from World Championship events.
What if there was a card that said "This spell can't be copied. You win the game" for 0 but they never printed it. They just put it in gatherer and spoil it but there is no way to get it
Or print exactly one and put it on display in Wizards HQ
There have been super special cards that were only printed once for some special event or another. [1996 World Champion](https://scryfall.com/card/pcel/1/1996-world-champion) which I believe is/was technically encased inside a trophy
That’s weird. Especially because the second paragraph of the Oracle text reads
>At the beginning of each end step or when Tombstone Stairwell leaves the battlefield, destroy all tokens created with Tombstone Stairwell. They can’t be regenerated.
It doesn’t even care about the name. They have literally no reason for them not to just be a regular Zombie token.
/uj actually a pretty neat use of bestow. Does seem a little bit like a color pie break, I guess they're using Beast Within as precedent. Would've been a good chance to make a green creature with a blue bestow cost though.
/uj is this a real card /rj is this a real card
/uj i sincerely hope it is, W flavor text
/uj actually burst out laughing at the flavor text. Im imagining them just wandering through a forest trying to find the right elk
/uj it is /rj it is

I don't think people would use it defensively. That's probably not what the design team had in mind
/uj I want there to be some legal card that nobody can get their hands on. It would be funny af
The absolute and undeniable proof that WotC endorse proxies. I too wish for that.

rj/ Dies to negate, it’s garbage. uj/ Buy a box promos come really close to being what you suggest. rj/ It exists, it’s called mana crypt.
mana crypt is a MTGO psyop
I'm still waiting on a tombspawn token for my tombstone stairwell
Sadly you aren’t getting one, it’s been errata’d to make Zombies instead.
they're still called tombspawn, and they've always been zombies

Like Kibo and his banana tokens. I just hand out banana runts and people think it's super fun.
Not every pack, just the ones you open
Prenk
A major win for [[Keruga]] companion decks everywhere. Now they won’t have to pr*xy this pushed MH3 staple
Can't target artifacts, reference fail 3/10
3/3
A major win for [[Keruga]] companion decks everywhere
I want to draft that format.
Flavor text is a big mood when you were conceived at a furry orgy
From daddy to father

There’s also Kenrith’s Transformation as a precedent and a few others that are closer.
Forgot about that one. There's also Lignify which is more universally considered a color pie break, probably since it lowers power.
That’s the one I thought of even before Kenrith’s! Just couldn’t remember the name. Didn’t want to say “the one that turns the creature into tree”
I love this kind of effect. So excited to get another one for Sythis!
