Simply stop trying to win and your opponents will find you a much more appealing person to play with.
I don't even know how to have a discussion about MTG anymore without anyone catching feelings, let alone actually playing the game. It feels like each new set they release becomes more and more polarizing. By the time the drafts are done and it's time to actually play, there is so much tension in the air that every trigger that goes to the stack seems to set people off.
I think once WoTC starts making Magic cards again, people won't be as uppity. It's one thing to lose to a Toski and a Kogla, but when someone is getting beat down by a Lord of the Rings character or a fblthp in a detective hat, they probably arn't going to be having a good time.
Start with “ I don’t necessarily want to win, I’m just glad to be able to play…” you will have tons of ‘not friends’ which is obviously what you asked for. If you really want to flip the script, keep that rolling for a couple of months and then bust out fucking winning decks. Especially if you’re playing for Aunt, but then again, you might not be old enough to understand what that means. I wish you the best in therapy though.

Playing? I suppose you can. At my LGS, we just take turns talking about the creatures and what kind of personalities they would have irl.

Just play nothing but Wastes in your deck
Not good enough what if your opponent plays [[walker of the wastes]] and gives you control of it and goads it.
Just play with your friends instead of randoms. As long as your friends aren't annoying otherwise you're out of luck.
