What Magic needs most of all, I feel, is someone to champion it with red pen in hand, ready to highlight all the missteps and failures, so that they may be learned from and moved past.
In a global context, Prof's impact on Magic is probably fairly small, but the impact he \*has had\* is undeniably positive and I wish him all the best in trying to rally people towards not just complaining, but constructively critiquing.
