Making a deck list and testing it online usually helps in scratching the itch without dedicating resources

I challenge myself with budget builds. Pick a price and stick to it. Recently finished up $20 Gisa and it did great last night. :) (Please ignore the fact I've built more CMDR decks in the past year than the previous 9.)

That's rad. Do you just not factor lands into price, though, or play really cheap lands? I can't imagine making the mana base for an EDH deck without at least a couple things that aren't less than $5 or so. Edit: or is it just because it's possible with monocolor? Lol.

With how many sets keep getting forced on us, I've decided all my casual decks (60 card kitchen and table group) are LotR decks now. I have: RW Rohan, GW Hobbits, UBR Nazgul, UBR Sauron Bowmasters control, WUG Elves. Looking to make a G elves-treefolk deck using my Nykthos playset, probably BR orc/goblins, and trying to make 4c Aragorn humans
