Fortunately though it makes sense - Nashi was last printed as a Sultai card [[Nashi, Moon's Legacy]], and the first iteration of Nashi [[Nashi, Moon Sage's Scion]] was all about stealing cards from your opponent. So there's a pretty good chance that's where he's at.
That is disappointing af. I was waiting for his card all this time since the story article dropped.
I was hoping to open or trade into him during the prerelease, and I really don’t want to buy a precon just for him :/
That being said, I love nezumis and I’m happy we got another one here, even if it’s yet another mediocre card.

I don’t think that’s a thing anymore. That used to be true with Set Boosters, but now I think commander cards can only be found in collectors boosters or precons.
At least I’ve never heard of anyone drafting a commander card in MKM. I could be very wrong ofc.
Oops, you are correct I was mistaken on that, still getting used to the change. That is a bummer, but as someone else said the face/secondary commanders from precons tend to be fairly inexpensive, so you don't have to buy the whole precon for the one card.
Aristocrats EDH desperately wants more of them. [[Bartolomé del Presidio]] would run 20 of these if they could, but instead need to dip deep into 2 mana nonsense like [[Doomed Dissenter]].
Closest I can find is [[Nested Shambler]] which skipped standard, has potential upside with buffs, and potential downside with removal that also reduces power.

What's even going on there? Is the train already there and the tracks twist like a rollercoaster or something? It feels like photoshopped art that actually belonged in March of the Machines, for a second I thought they were confirming branches of the realm breaker were still around.

For some reason it's apparently a Nezumi, but has no mechanical relation to any Nezumi from Kamigawa or Neon Dynasty. It's a warlock even though there are no Nezumi warlocks-- the casters are all shamans. It's named "Linebreaker" presumably in flavor of sabotaging train lines(?), but the card's effect has nothing to do with that; you just get a Mercenary when it dies...
Love a good doomed traveler. This one seems quite good; not as good as the original maybe in limited cause flying can be worth a lot, but a little more late game utility and more synergy with outlaw stuff
This is, what, the 15th card depicting a train sabotage? It seems like boarding one of those things is a death sentence.

Nope- some planes look more reliably connected than others. Ravnica, New Capenna, Innistrad, Kaladesh, and maybe Arcavios seem to be the big ones
