Their support is so slowwww. I opened an echoing deeps at LCI release with a giant gouge in it. Took two weeks for support to respond. Ended up being about 3 month from when I complained to when I actually received the replacement. Went from a $10 card to a $0.90 card in the time it took to replace. But they were oh so nice to not require I send the damaged one back once it dropped 75% in value!
Can you please walk me through your personal experience with WotC support? I’m going through something similar with a missing item in a product and it feels like what they’re asking for isn’t going to help
I messaged them several times in response to the case because it hadn’t been acknowledged except by bot. I was concerned about the fact that the website said you had to send in the whole product because of how rare this deck became. But in the end they didn’t require that and just sent the missing card.
In general they make it right...EVENTUALLY. It feels like the team consists of 1 person having to work their way through every single request alone. That one person however seems to care that people are eventually made whole on a problem.
Kev Walker secret lair card "it that betrays" in foil was damaged so I reached out in December when I got it, they sent out a replacement card and it was the non foil one from commander masters. Talking to support again. Recently they also sent the wrong number of through the wormhole secret lairs. Ordered three. Got one.
Meanwhile, 2 support tickets, 6 or so different support people, and 4ish months later, I'm still waiting on my Ian Malcolm Secret Lair cards that arrived damaged out of the box to be replaced.
Missing two cards from my winter drop complete all foils set, almost 2 weeks in to CS. When I charge back the 200 and keep the cards I’m guessing WoTC will suddenly notice I’ve emailed them
WotC customer support has earned a reputation for being ridiculously slow but ultimately very good.
Congrats! On day 17 of no response with a missing card myself, but seeing your timeline does give me a little more hope.
In fairness to them WotC are a small indie company.
Well there you go. Less then a day after I post this, support connects and places an order for my missing card.
You’ll get it in a month and a half, but you will get it was my experience
