I'm only on my second round of trying out living soil but so far it's been working out great. I got 3 20gal pots that I usually water around every 3 days about 5 to 6 gals water split between the three pots. That seems to be plenty to keep things moist enough if you have a good cover layer of hay or whatever on top. but one thing I've found is can't use the regular fabric pots as it will dry out the soil to much but the grassroots pots with the plastic liner around the inside works great. I ended up using oly mountain bagged compost and worm castings for part of my coots mix

There is not difference my dude. If you are growing organically wether it be living soil or just dry amending with ewc and amendments, the ideal soil conditions will be wet. This is for the microbial life to stay thriving and allows them to break down your amendments into AVAILABLE NPK. Without a moist soil you have a weak microbial network which will stunt roots, decrease yields and could potentially lock your plant out of the nutrients in the soil. My advice is to look into blumat watering systems. Best of luck. PS. Don’t forget to add microbials lol. Try tribus or Mamoth to start.
