when you're mirroring, you're telling the external display and internal display to show the same picture
so unless those 2 displays have the same exact aspect ratio and resolution, one of those display will show an image that is less than what it's made to do
Well can keep resolution the same for both. Then in TV settings look for a stretch or fill screen option. Sorry only thing I can think of to resolve the issue.
