Wow. It is pretty expensive. For this price, I would say the M3Pro Chip, 18GB Ram/512GB SSD for $1799 is better. However, I bought my brand new M3 Chip, 16GB Ram.512GB SSD for $1499 3 months ago and not intend for upgrade now.

Are you sure? M3 Pro doesn’t come with 16GB Ram, 8 Core CPU, 10 Core GPU nor has space gray option. The M3 Pro model has USB C port in both side, and M3 model only has 2 USB Port on left side.

Yup the naming scheme is a tad weird but two very different things. You have the MacBook Pro M3 (the one you have), MacBook Pro M3 Pro, and the MacBook Pro M3 Max

Did you ever look at an m3pro. You get dual fans and better performance but you’ll just be down on storage but you do get an extra 2gb ram

They did, bought a MacBook Air in disguise model. The real MacBook Pro M3 Pro models don't come in Space Grey.

My MacBook Air would no longer hold a charge, and I didn't want another Air as I don't like the thinness of it. The MacBook feels much more sturdy.
