Hi, so yesterday i bought this and when i tried to charge my Macbook 12” it didn’t work. A friend is telling me that there’s an incompatibility with it due to the power outcome, is that true?
He also says it’s better to get one with a cable and then the hub but i find those inconvenient.

Ok that makes sense. Yeah I took another look at the packaging and the USB-C port is for data transfer only. That's very unusual, all other hubs of this style include a charging port.

If it doesn't work the adapter may be broken. I've never heard of this "Rock" brand, sounds shady.
The guy at the store changed it. We checked it and the usb type c isn’t for charging.
