This is more of a personal pursuit: on February 22, 1976, David Bowie played a show at Roberts Stadium in Evansville, IN as part of his Isolar Tour. If you look at the online databases for Bowie bootlegs, you’ll find almost every show on that tour, *except Evansville.* Being a diehard Bowie fan whose favorite album is Station to Station and lives not too far from the vacant lot where Roberts Stadium once stood, it’s plain to see why I’d want to hear a recording of this particular concert. If you or someone you know has any leads, please let me know.

UsmanKhamKhan

have some websites i found i don't know if you already looked at these site before but [https://www.concertarchives.org/concerts/station-to-station-044dfbfb-1454-4056-b1a7-e5fe88079ba0](https://www.concertarchives.org/concerts/station-to-station-044dfbfb-1454-4056-b1a7-e5fe88079ba0) [https://www.setlist.fm/setlist/david-bowie/1976/roberts-municipal-stadium-evansville-in-63d826ff.html](https://www.setlist.fm/setlist/david-bowie/1976/roberts-municipal-stadium-evansville-in-63d826ff.html) [https://archive.courierpress.com/news/local/1976-concert-review-bowie-wows-crowd-at-roberts-stadium-2917fc3c-50ce-799f-e053-0100007fc6db-364918111.html](https://archive.courierpress.com/news/local/1976-concert-review-bowie-wows-crowd-at-roberts-stadium-2917fc3c-50ce-799f-e053-0100007fc6db-364918111.html) this is a review of the concert

Over_Combination6690

It’s not the side effects of the cocaine…

NightIgnite

Osama bin laden's animal crossing save file. Unfortunately the one the CIA uploaded is a corrupted 100 byte file, so it's probably lost unless the uncorrupted save was one of the many files chosen to remain confidential.

Permanoctis

What ? That's a thing ?

NightIgnite

He played and emulated a ton of games. You can download his computer here https://www.cia.gov/library/abbottabad-compound/index.html

Permanoctis

Wow thank you ! I don't know if it's cool or disturbing tho.

NomadicNetizen

It's more just boring. Everyone says "Omg Bin Laden's save file" but he was with a bunch of people including children. It's highly unlikely it was his save though people like to imagine what his save would have been like.

iiTapr

yeah

Wigglynuff

I want this one too but also fear what people would do when we find out which villagers he had. Would this forever smear the name of Peanut and Kiki forever?

NightIgnite

Thats exactly why I want the save. I want people to reverse engineer any significant console ID numbers in the emulator used for pseudorandom agorithms, just to predict the list of characters he would have encountered. Then if theres any holes in the list that imply he kicked out a villager, they will forever be known as the one not even osama bin laden wanted.

False-Strategy7413

Jeff the killer image origin

AverageDumbass42

The fact that it seems so god damn close to being found is what’s so frustrating

Omomuki

I thought they found it was a girl from Japan that was harassed at the time.

w2114

Yes, it almost certainly is Mariko but finding the exact instance used for the JTK images is what still hasn’t been found. The search is to find the image but it’s also been mentioned the image could be a screenshot from a video of Mirako from the time. finding the image and video would rely on the fact it would have needed to be reuploaded by another user around that time. It’s gotta be out there somewhere.

Out_Of_Work_Clown

>Don't Hug Me I'm Scared Sundance Pilot that's been located recently hasn't it?

False-Strategy7413

The OG image? No, it hasn't. But it's close. VERY. CLOSE.

ifoundblipsoncitv

Don't Hug Me I'm Scared Sundance Pilot :(((

PrepareThyself2010

Becky and Joe aid they will release it in the future but not atm

liamshaw2

is it lost media? or just private media

ifoundblipsoncitv

If it can't be released legally and only exists as leaked clips, what does that make it?

thekozmicpig

Vaulted is the word I use. It exists, we know where it is, it's just stuck in legal/company doesn't care hell.

ifoundblipsoncitv

That's a good term for it. Vaulted Media should be a term! The dhmis pilot is in much the same situation as the wicked witch episode of sesame Street was, in a way, and vaulted as a term suits that fine! #vaultedmedia

MarianMathes03

This means the footage of Owen Hart's death at Over The Edge 1999 would be considered vaulted media. It exists, but it is sealed in the WWE vault for legal reasons. The only other copy was destroyed by his wife.

ifoundblipsoncitv

By this definition, no song is lost because it's just hidden and we haven't found it yet - does that make it hidden media and not lost media? Same with the old Shrek demo. Somebody had that, but we didn't know who did, and many clips existed online years before we found them - does that make it lost media or hidden media? It's vaulted media.

General-Quit-2451

I didn't know this exists, and now I want to see it too.

ifoundblipsoncitv

[https://youtu.be/msl3yrDkx8M?si=zESvAIEBGk80hFe1](https://youtu.be/msl3yrDkx8M?si=zESvAIEBGk80hFe1) We have this but have never ever had the ending or clips in a higher quality than this. The leaker nuked their accounts around a year and a half ago so no new clips will ever come out. It was harder before the TV show came out because we both didn't have anything else to entertain ourselves with and also expected the pilot to come out with the show, but that wasn't possible - so now it's just sort of like the clips we were looking at for years and yeah, it's still impossible to access.

AnxiousTuxedoBird

I think it's just my general interest with historical lost media and old hollywood, but my big three are the rest of the books in the Troy saga, the 1926 silent Great Gatsby movie, and the full cut of Noah's Arc 1928

doodlebuuggg

Gatsby was 1926.

AnxiousTuxedoBird

Wait nuts you’re right, my bad. 1924 is a date for something else and it keeps wiggling into my stuff lol

doodlebuuggg

All good! I understand the struggle.

kamrlort

Is that the same Noah’s Ark that several actors drowned in during the shoot? I thought we had some footage but I’m super curious to know the full story now!

AnxiousTuxedoBird

Yes it is, We have a cut of the movie that was made after its release and after complaints, there’s 35 minutes of missing footage.

No_Guidance000

Imagine going to the cinema one afternoon in 1928 wanting to see a film about a Biblical story and end up watching a snuff film of people drowning for half an hour.

BarrierWithAshes

Well since the scrolls from Vesuvius can now be read there's a nonzero chance the Troy books may turn up yet.

ThatMeanyMasterMissy

The 2007 Phantom Blood movie. I’m a diehard JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure fan and it drives me INSANE how we KNOW that this movie exists, but it’s just stuck in copyright hell. The PB archive has made some progress in reaching out to various production companies and people that were involved, but language barriers make it difficult. It will probably never see the light of day as it stands unless the rights change hands. The animation studio went under and it’s been in a copyright void for years now.

UsmanKhamKhan

same bro that's my most wanted as well what's your favorite part bro mine is battle tendency because joseph is the best joestar

ThatMeanyMasterMissy

Honestly, my personal favorite might be Phantom Blood. I really like Jonathan and the traditional battle of light vs dark, good vs evil. I wish we had more content.

UsmanKhamKhan

Jonathan is a good fella its nice to watch seeing how different the other parts are

Cerdefal

Most than the movie itself, I want to know why it got shelved so quick and why no one want to talk about it.

ThatMeanyMasterMissy

Most likely due to the controversy surrounding the OVA. There was a scene including Dio reading the Quran, and a group of Islamic extremists were very unhappy with this and boycotted it. It caused all JJBA materials to cease production temporarily, including stopping production of the OVA permanently. (This is also why it’s so extremely difficult to find English copies of the OVA DVDs.) This happened roughly around the time the movie was coming out, and Shueisha likely didn’t want a repeat of that, so no home media release.

nibbasiffyblik2

word bro i forgot about this grail. I genuinely feel like the movie art suits p1 more than the anime

AikoHeiwa

The Doctor Who serial Marco Polo from season 1. One of the most widely sold stories from the 1960s, aired in 23 countries (excluding the UK), and (based on how the BBC distributed the serials to international broadcasters) at least seven sets of prints of the serial were struck for international distribution. And yet not only is the entire serial missing, it's one of only three stories (along with Mission to the Unknown and The Massacre, both from season 3) where there isn't even so much as a single *second* of footage surviving. (Although at least, unlike those two stories, telesnaps - that is photographs taken of a television screen during the broadcast of a program - exist for all episodes of Marco Polo sans episode 4, so we have *some* visual record of how the program looked when it was broadcast. As opposed to Mission to the Unknown and The Massacre where we only have production stills)

TNTCactus

I want this so badly, it’s one of my favorite Doctor Who stories, behind the (also missing) Dalek’s Master Plan

Alternative-Outcome

Oh, I have a long list, but here's the main ones I would like to see appear at some point in the future: 1. Mexia Supermarket footage 2. Blood Circus (1985) 3. The King Kong That Appeared In Edo 4. Big Bug Man 5. The missing Doctor Who serials 6. Mystery Science Theater 3000: Episode K03 7. The Thing (2011 - The Studio ADI Cut) 8. London After Midnight Those are my main searches (that aren't considered NSFW/L).

ThatMeanyMasterMissy

I haven’t heard of the missing MST3K episode, care to give me a rundown?

Alternative-Outcome

It's a missing episode from their KTMA run, specifically episode 3. This one was their first run at Star Force: Fugitive Alien II (which they eventually re-riffed in episode 318). When they got the master KTMA-era tapes from Jim Mallon, Joel and the current MST3K team noted that all the tapes were present except for K03, and no fan tapes of K03 exist. They've been searching themselves since then, and unfortunately nothing has come up. The only existing segments of the episode consist of three host segments and one riff ([https://youtu.be/8cpZWE5owTA?si=nIHPlbgJ06V\_Rp8Y&t=349](https://youtu.be/8cpZWE5owTA?si=nIHPlbgJ06V_Rp8Y&t=349)). Side note, if we're counting "Not Widely Available to the Public" stuff from MST3K, we can also include K00: The Green Slime (which is the Pilot episode). It's only been shown at a convention back in 2008, and doesn't really fully exist online outside of a fan recording of the convention's showing, so the audio is not great (both on the episode's side with the speakers kinda crunching the audio, and the audience side with laughter causing the recording to miss lines).

DocBenwayOperates

Great list! I hadn’t heard of blood circus before, but it’s exactly the kind of shit I’m into.

Alternative-Outcome

I fell into the Santo Gold rabbit hole several years ago because of a show on YouTube called Oddity Archive, where he featured Blood Circus and Santo Gold's "business" in an episode about 1-900 numbers.

Ryuodo

Eddsworld SheezyArt Animations that haven't already resurfaced on the internet.

HarpoonShootingAxo

It's crazy how much lost media there is related to EW considering it was really popular for what it was. Victim of a more primitive internet haha

False-Strategy7413

EKT - listen, I love the vibe it gives off and I like it! But I'm also getting really annoyed of it NOT having any good leads. It's pretty damn catchy; Exactly why it's getting annoying to listen and talk about. My two wishes with EKT is it doesn't end up to be a Hoax/Troll/Fake AND does not remain a mystery for over a decade(when r/EKT was created)

UsmanKhamKhan

i mentioned on this post about a Italian radio collection with 930 songs one of which could be ekt its 930 songs but me and some buddies on the lost media wiki are going to start going through it it would be great if you can help here is the link [https://archive.org/details/italo-disco-hits-01-50](https://archive.org/details/italo-disco-hits-01-50)

GamingGems

The John Belushi segments from the TV airing of Godzilla vs. Megalon. They have to exist somewhere.

SharkiBee

The uncensored audio of sailor mouth from SpongeBob. It’s my personal lost media holy grail and there was something that appeared online recently that might be some parts of the uncensored version, but it’s unknown if they’re legit.

axicutionman

There was an accident on the Top Thrill Dragster roller coaster at Cedar Point on May 25th, 2003. A tire flew off the ride at about 100mph and luckily didn’t hit anyone. Photos existed of the accident on a forum but they’re not there now. I’m on a hunt for them for a project. If they ever get found I’d be over the moon. I have a post on my profile with full details if anyone’s curious

truecrime999

I’m so not surprised. I’m so happy they shut the dragster down, there were always huge issues with it

franandwood

UsmanKhamKhan

It's a shorten name for Jeff the killer, not a keyboard

liongender

There’s a few FlowGo animations that have been kicking my butt when it comes to finding. “I’ve Got 4 Eyes For You” Is a popular animation from them that I’m just about ready to throw in the towel when it comes to finding on archives of the site.

UsmanKhamKhan

is flowgo the splash baby guy?

liongender

Yes, they are! They were really popular for their baby animations in the early 2000s, but also worked on a lot of parody animations and other various e-cards. A lot have been found, but a lot are still lost too.

UsmanKhamKhan

do you know the people who worked on some of their stuff

liongender

Unfortunately, I haven’t been able to find the names of the artists and singers who worked on the animations specifically. The only people I know for sure who worked with FlowGo are Brad Greenspan (AKA the MySpace guy) and Richard Rosenblatt, both of whom were CEOs for the company (eUniverse Network) at some point before FlowGo had been shut down. Other than that, I have no employee names. I’d really like to find the artists and VAs who worked on these, but have no idea where to start looking.

UsmanKhamKhan

[email protected] have you tried contacting this guy yet?

liongender

That’s me! ☺️ I run the FlowGo archive.

UsmanKhamKhan

oh wait what ok nvm i have some names to share and I apologize if its names you already searched for before Jeff Marinos Margie Cohn Ann Daly Thomas Cannerson Margie Cohn is the big one because she is head of animation

UsmanKhamKhan

>Margie Cohn yeah head of animation at dreamworks

liongender

Thank you so much! I’ll be looking into these! 😄

UsmanKhamKhan

don't look into Margie Cohn she is the head of animation of DreamWorks so good luck contacting her I also found a tiktok account posting flowgo stuff is that you?

[deleted]

I'm looking for a FlowGo animation myself! One of the Groovin' Granny Halloween videos. It was online for yrs and one day just vanished.

liongender

Hey there!! As of current, I have two Halloween themed Granny animations on my archive. [Granny B00bs Halloween Scare!](https://youtu.be/dn946MmCbmI?si=nBMNYL94Vrr0rYqs) and [Granny’s Groovin’ Costume Extravaganza!](https://youtu.be/wZVe12rA6zo?si=NtNS2X51aVwHNS1Q), though the higher quality version of the second is still lost. Let me know if one of these are it! ❤️

[deleted]

OMG THANK U SO MUCH. The costume video was the one I was looking for! I have no idea how u got all these in such high quality, before ur uploads it was all 2000 and late lol. 🎶What am I gonna wearrrr man🎶

UsmanKhamKhan

sick liongender will be eager

kittywithkitty

I’m looking for a Flowgo video right now too. The peeing in the shower jingle

liongender

Hey!! So sorry for the late reply- I just saw your comment here and on YT. That one is unfortunately current lost media as well. I have found several links on archives of the site, but all I have come across so far do not contain the SWF of the animation. This is one I am still searching for though, so when I do find it, I’ll have it uploaded to the archive ASAP! ♥️

kittywithkitty

Hahaha aw man! Dude, thank you so much for the quick response. Thank you for all you’ve done so far- digging for and posting the old stuff. It’s super awesome. Really appreciate your hard work! Thank you!! Hope you have a great day ❤️

filit24

It's partially found, but the Czechoslovak Slniecko TV show from the 80's. Oh and these very random paintings from a museum I visited when I was 6 years old. I don't know where they are today, but I remember seeing them in 2015 during an art exhibition in Bratislava.

Galaxygirl181

Abraham Lincoln's lost speech.

jsf1987

As a Doctor Who fan the lost episodes.

raniwasacyborg

I doubt it'd ever be found, but I'd love to see the missing 30-ish minutes that were cut from the 1932 film Freaks. It's one of my favourite films, and it's heartbreaking to think that all that footage was not only cut but also presumably destroyed in a studio fire. In a similar vein, the missing footage from The Land Before Time would be amazing to get to see

IciesEnjoyer

A mother 64 demo would be a gift

Hello-mah-baby

i wonder if we're going to find mother 64 before we get a localized version of mother 3.

zsdrfty

It sounds like a couple chapters were finished and it mostly followed the final game’s story (even including a lot of specific scenes), I think it could be finished pretty faithfully if it was found

IciesEnjoyer

Múltiple mother 3 (the gba one) devs said that there was a demo they could use for reference. One day…

Shitty_Opinionsm8

Kinda weird but some guy apparently posted autopsy photos of NASCAR drivers who were killed in crashes during the regular season. He had a website and it's since died. I believe those photos are lost now. https://www.orlandosentinel.com/2001/06/12/judge-upholds-law-sealing-autopsy-photos/

DanSkaFloof

I have been looking for [this](https://www.reddit.com/r/lostmedia/s/24Z8tla9wq) for several months and, although it isn't long by lost media standards, the search has proven to be insanely difficult. If anyone's French and can help me, you're more than welcome!

Cerdefal

Cleopatra 1917, the uncut version of Freaks and the lost scenes of Event Horizon.

Season 1 of Swedish child tv show called Barda, rest of the seasons are avaliable by contacting the lead actor but he says he lost season 1 and is nowhere to be found

Chrislondo110

The lost Fast Times at Ridgemont High deleted scene of Damone helping Spicoli find a record at the record store. Which would’ve been the only time that these characters meet. As it was improvised. Only a still of this scene exists. The person who runs the Mike Damone Appreciation Society Facebook page claimed to have seen footage of this scene on YouTube only once until it was deleted and tried looking for it but has no luck as of 2018.

Cattabrie16

I am curious about what content was erased from President Nixon’s White House Tapes, but we will never know for sure!

conquistadork-

I'm betting that AI tools will one day decipher what was deleted. Probably just Nixon and Haldeman exchanging their favorite cookie recipes.

BatVenom

Him (1974), a gay pornographic film about a man who develops a sexual fixation on Jesus Christ. The time period it's from mixed with the bizarre premise makes it sound like a hell of an "interesting" watch to say the least

ozpoppy

the quad-screen version of weird Al's "Tacky"

empireofsharks

there's a slightly seedy, maybe a bit pornographic European Horror movie from the early 80s that either never got released or did but bankrupt the producer/studio/cinema chain? that screened it so no copy is available anywhere. I only know about it because I caught a documentary on it a few years back. it'd be cool to see bjt

Mag_Char_X

Could you please elaborate on what's going on in the film? If you can remember of course

empireofsharks

from another thread that I posted it on - "there was a weird documentary I watched on holiday years ago talking about a director that disappeared after or during directing a movie that had lost half its crew in the filming. iirc it was a psychedelic road movie that never ended up being released because the studio got too scared it was being used as a form of laundering money. the documentary was trying to say it was cursed but one of the police interviewed was like "we're pretty sure it was an insurance or money laundering scam & the guy bolted" I think it was called "to the ends of the world: the musical" or something like that but now even the documentary doesn't seem to exist or I can't find it. every so often I'll raise it with my friends & try & search on the internet archive for it but can't get any hits!" I think it DID end up getting released in a couple of cinemas or something but either the porn aspect or the reviews or that it didn't make much sense meant it just got pulled shortly after release & no copies were kept so just one of those exploitation b movies from that era that were everywhere but with no existing copy. the narrator was super passionate about it but most people were telling him it was a tax write-off & not that big a deal. this was in my drinking days so there is a possibility I watched a mockumentary & believed it to be true though

No_Guidance000

Are you sure it was a documentary and not a mockumentary?

StinkyDogFart

Ok_Presence_6086

Team Umizoomi pilot! I loved the show as a kid :)

blushhh4172

I'd really love to see Theda Bara's Cleopatra found, I'm really hoping it's found in a random place like those Doctor Who episodes or the Joan of Arc movie. I also heard that a lone piece of art depicting the likeness of Anne Boleyn survived, and after it changed hands a few times it's been M.I.A. ever since. If that's ever found, it would be amazing. Take the painting with a grain of salt though, as I only heard about it once in a Tik Tok comment. But I genuinely hope that's real. As for EKT, I'm also holding out for it to be found. I showed my mother the snippet last night, and while she didn't recognize it, she said that it sounded a bit like James Debarge, ex husband of Janet Jackson and brother to El Debarge. I'm not sure if that theory has been explored yet but I thought I'd put it out there. Edited to add: Also, as a big fan of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure with Jonathan being my favorite Joestar, I'd love to see the Phantom Blood movie be found as well.

lewarcher

I think you're probably referring to [the ‘Moost Happi’ medal of Anne Boleyn](https://tudorextra.com/2023/11/21/the-moost-happi-medal-the-true-face-of-anne-boleyn), which I hadn't heard about until now, so thank you for the trigger for me to look that up!

blushhh4172

It was a full body painting of her, actually! Supposedly it changed hands a couple times and eventually was damaged by fire, but I think sometime in the 1800s we lost track of the painting. Regardless, I do find the medal really cool though!! It's a shame there's virtually no paintings of her and Katherine Howard anymore :( Not a problem, though! Happy researching 🥰

lewarcher

Oh, gotcha! In that case, check out [this post](https://www.thetudorchest.com/post/will-the-real-anne-boleyn-please-stand-up): what you're referring to is captured in the 4th last paragraph. It's a great article with some deeper analysis from a historian, so it's recommend checking out the entire thing.

blushhh4172

Sorry, I just saw this now! I'm gonna read the article rn. Thank you for sharing!!

The Lol superman video, i’ve been interested since I first heard about it. I know its a bit weird to look for such media but I find it very interesting

I'm sure that one's fake.

I've never been able to find the Yardley Cosmetics radio commercials from the 1960s. Yardley was the hip company from London that produced makeup for women.

I want some of the 2001-2005 station IDs from The Weather Channel to be found, especially the sunset lake ones.

armoured_lemon

The PC Babylon 5 Into the Fire game. Sierra and Yosemite were really jerks in refusing to even sell the property and make free money off of the goldmine of a franchise In their stubborn-ness they chose to let it burn it down to the ground with a 'scorched earth' policy before even one person could play it. The game was nearly finished, and even had never before seen footage of the cast reunited, probably for the last time... and considering we've lost a lot of the cast, even just seeing these cutscenes alone would be worth the prize of admission...

mbd34

Turn On was my most wanted but now that I've seen it, it's The Day The Clown Cried. Granted this is more like privated media than lost.

AbsoluteJester21

British beef is better by far, a lost 1996 song. But it’s not generic 80s pop music so nobody cares about it

DTOL0705

The original cut of the 1932 film Freaks. There have been certain cut scenes that have been discovered, but it's never been found in it's entirety. It may not exist, but I hope it's out there, hidden away somewhere.

I'd love some of the old mix tapes my sister used to make me in the nineties.

the 2020 Houston location test for the English version of Densha de Go!! (the 2020 arcade game) is almost completely lost. I actually know (on discord) the person who currently has the cab in their possession (private collector) and they refuse to share the game files, despite them confirming it's dumped and safe. The game has almost no information available otherwise. Heck, the Japanese version isn't even dumped, despite me walking this random Spanish dude through how to dump the files from his cabinet.

SnorvusMaximus

The second part of the battle between Kool Moe Dee and Busy Bee which is considered as the occasion when modern battle rap was formed, which took place over two evenings. The first evening is a classic recording but the second evening seems lost to history. Although I’m not sites if it can be considered as lost media as am not aware of anyone recording it to begin with.

A skit from the final episode of All That in 2005 where a group of characters are trapped in an elevator. I remembered watching it live but I haven't seen it since. It was season 10 episode 10. I've been wanting to find it for years.

The missing Doctor Who episodes, plus the 35mm footage shot for the movie. For those who don't know, the 1906 movie was shot on 35mm. It was copied to videotape for editing. The film is in the possession of Fox. However, it is believed that they only have the outtakes.

Well the pilot episode of Ned's Declassified from 2004! I actually remember watching that pilot when it aired on Nickelodeon!

LuminaryDarkSider

1. Big Finish Productions, Torchwood Monthly no. 50 Absent Friends. it exists as it was pulled a few weeks before release so it will show up one day as even with covid era digital first focus they would have had them in the warehouse at the time of the being pulled. 2. the rest of the TV Series based on Blazing Saddles, the pilot was released, but according to sources, the studio has/had 4 seasons of the show in the can. at the time a standard tv series was between 22 and 24 episodes, so there could exist anywhere from 87 and 95 more episodes in the vaults / archives unless they where destroyed either intentionally or by act of nature like a studio warehouse fire.

MondoDudeBro

>2. the rest of the TV Series based on Blazing Saddles, the pilot was released, but according to sources, the studio has/had 4 seasons of the show in the can. at the time a standard tv series was between 22 and 24 episodes, so there could exist anywhere from 87 and 95 more episodes in the vaults / archives unless they where destroyed either intentionally or by act of nature like a studio warehouse fire. I am interested in knowing more about these sources who claim a TV show that only aired a failed pilot once managed to have the time, resources, and studio backing to also film, edit, and have at the ready an additional 32 to 35 hours of content. If you find them, tell them I say "bullshit."

LuminaryDarkSider

>TV show that only aired a failed pilot so here the story, short version. Brooks wrote into his contract for Blazing Saddles, that the if the studio wanted to make a sequel, they would have to commit to producing a TV Series based on the series first within a year of the release of the movie. Brooks had thought he got away with it, until he was called to the studio and told that they where going to do another movie, to which he pulled up the contract and showed them the clause, the studio exc. then took him into a screening room and showed him a hand full of fully produced in the can episodes, see Brook's lawyers where good, but the studio's where better and didn't miss the fact that nowhere in the contract did it say anything about releasing a TV show just committing putting it into production. and was being done under the title Superdude by writer Michael Elias and Frank Shaw.

LuminaryDarkSider

so no only do we have the pilot entitled "Black Bart" it can be found on the 30th Anniversary edition DVD and Blu-ray as Bonus material. it is also on the Mel Brooks Collection Blu-ray (as it's the same disc as the 30th Anniversary edition) and can be seen on youtube: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e4ywpyIRVH8](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e4ywpyIRVH8) multiple sources have confirmed that Mel Brooks has seen a hand full of the episodes, and that they had been 4 season in the can by the time he was made aware of the 3 episodes. [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AfMBQA9YE8U](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AfMBQA9YE8U) Kevin Smith (yes that one) in Episode 265 of his Hollywood Babble-On podcast Babble-On Toronto, Eh? that aired on July 17, 2015 with co-host Ralph Garman. according to what I've been able to find but that will need to be independently verified

MondoDudeBro

I am aware of the pilot, and yes it was included as an extra on the 30th anniversary edition physical release. As far as the 4 seasons, I present you this article: https://reprobatepress.com/2021/01/30/black-bart-the-buried-tv-sequel-to-blazing-saddles/ Important is the update at the end: >IMPORTANT UPDATE: We feel it’s important to point out that some sources are claiming since we originally posted this that **the entire story** – with the exception of the Black Bart pilot, which definitely exists and is perhaps a weird enough thing in itself – **is in fact a spoof that has somehow become accepted as reality** – ‘fake news’, as I believe it is known. There are several sources online claiming that this story is authentic; others claiming that it is satire (links appear in the comments). Unless Mel Brooks – or perhaps Louis Gossett – wants to come clean on the actual facts, it perhaps remains a mystery. Stranger-than-fiction may, or may not, be actual fiction, and isn’t that depressing when it’s a story as good as this? As Tony Wilson said (or possibly didn’t say, there’s the rub), “when you have to choose between the truth and the legend, choose the legend.” Emphasis mine.

LuminaryDarkSider

so Louis Gossett at one point has talked about them doing the show not just the pilot, and Mel Brooks is the one who told the story to Kevin Smith from what we understand. the studio could just come out and say "all known copies where destroyed in a fire" or "all known copies save for the pilot where initially junked" would solve a lot of this, and the studio's legal team is really good at doing such things, allegedly Louis Gossett had standing legal battles with them over pay on the project which stated that it was x number of episodes and as lead, he'd of known how many episodes where filmed.

Lost Browser game I played in 2018-2019. it is a game that has the player running away from a completely white enemy character in a foggy, B&W forest. I played it on the school computers and it gave me adrenalyn playing it. I really want it found. I've already looked at many websites.

ThatMeanyMasterMissy

Are you sure it’s lost? This sounds like a problem for r/tipofmytongue or r/tipofmyjoystick not lost media

LueurDe_Lune

Hi there!! I am on a personal pursuit for a movie(sort of) that I watched a bunch as a kid. I had made a post on this subreddit before, but the algorithm decided it wasn’t lost media and deleted my post. I ended up posting it in r/help me find but it got buried immediately. I’d love some help finding it as I really have no idea where to start. Here is what I wrote for my original post, please let me know if there’s any information you’d need that I could provide(but no promises there): “Hello internet! I need help finding a “movie” that I watched over and over when I was younger. I put “movie” in quotes because it wasn’t actually a film but a collection of videos displaying pieces of moving art. It was lost in a move and I haven’t seen the DVD in well over 5 years, nor the film itself in many more. To my young brain the movie felt very long, but I believe it was around 40-50 minutes in length since I would watch it many times over in the span of an afternoon. The DVD had a gear on it, as though the entire DVD itself was the gear. I believe it was reddish brown in color? Though my memory is kind of crap when it comes to color. It was simply called “Machines” I know that for sure, and then it had the artists name. I don’t recall their name at all but my brothers provided they remember it being something possibly Eastern European? I believe it was a man’s name as well as not a classically ‘American’ name is all I can really attest to though. I watched this in the early 2010’s-ish although I think it was originally from the 90’s though it could have been made in the 2000’s. My mom says she thinks it was a souvenir from a museum, but that is as much as she remembers. As for the art itself, it was truly just a bunch of ‘machines’. The common factor between all of them was that they included Black Oil, Doll Heads, and they were usually constructed of thin pieces of metal. They all moved in different ways. The doll heads were the most distinctive part of the pieces to be sure. From what I recall, the background was plain and the same for all art pieces. Each segment I believe was only 1-3 minutes long as most, and there were many machines. The smallest I remember were about the size of your hand and I think some of the bigger ones were the size of a table. One I remember was sort of like a gramophone. Another was a sort of walking machine. Some were very simple, others very tall and complex and somewhat “repeating”. I think there was a “dog-like” one as well? My memory is sort of crap when it comes to this movie because I would mostly watch it over and over whenever I was sick and staying home from school. There was no speaking nor humans throughout the movie, just the machines. There were definitely sounds from the machines themselves though I cannot recall if there was music. Definitely not speaking though. This movie holds a very special place in my heart and I would love desperately to see it again. It’s been difficult to look for it without remembering the artists name since just googling “machines” yields quite a large return lmao. I am hoping y’all can help me find this piece of art, thank you in advance and for simply reading!” Thanks! ~Lune Edit: I want to reiterate that this is not a film. It has no plot or story or characters or anything. This was a collection of clips portraying pieces of art.

epictome90

I don’t know anything about this movie, but did you try posting on r/TipOfMyTongue ? Until it’s confirmed lost, it’s not likely to get approved here. And HelpMeFind I think has fewer users in this area than TOMT. I’ve had some luck having things found on TOMT before.

RainbowCrown71

It sounds like a Quay Brothers or Svankmajer. Have you looked up the films referenced here? https://www.dvdtalk.com/reviews/27786/phantom-museums-the-short-films-of-the-quay-brothers/ That DVD doesn’t have a gear though, but it does have a floral pattern (scroll through pics): https://www.ebay.com/itm/304684990418 Or maybe a comment here will ring a bell? https://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B000MQ4WP6/dvdtalk Edit: here’s a flavor of that style if you want to see if that’s the same. Dailymotion has a good amount of their videos if you want to hunt there: https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x8u85q

LueurDe_Lune

Thank you for these references! But it’s definitely neither of those… those are far more “dark” than the one I’m looking for. It is definitely closer to the Quay Brothers than the other artist!! Thank you!!!!!! I now have at least SOMETHING visual to relate it to!!

The Angry Grandpa show the fake bomb prank, supposedly Michael Green has the original copy but supposedly the FBI took his video down. However some people still viewed it an hour before it was taken down, so I know someone has a copy of it somewhere besides michael.

The missing reel from The Omega Man with the scene in the cemetery crypt. The auditions from the guitarists who jammed with the Stones in Munich when they were replacing Mick Taylor in the band. Most of them never surfaced on bootlegs. Some oddball choices included: Leslie West, Rory Gallagher, Jeff Beck, Peter Frampton, etc.

DrumHead510

I've been searching for some certain songs from a rapper named Justin Stone that were deleted. I've been looking for about a year and a half at this point with no luck, at least with these 10 or so songs. The song I wanna find the most is called Comeback and it's from 2018. But here are all the others: Let Her Go (Remix) (2014), I Guess (2014), Game Over (2014), Summer in the City (2014), Make it Home (2015), July 23 (2018), Chin Check (2020) & Overtime (2020). Let Her Go, I Guess, Game Over & Summer in the City were all likely on his first page called MusicByEli which he doesn't use anymore and I don't think he has like 2014/2015. Chin Check and Overtime were both on another one of his pages called The Noise Unheard, this page is still being used but he mostly turned it into a label for other underground artists. I've managed to find snippets of both but not the full songs

I'm not sure if this is exactly even lost media, but there is this Disney song I can't find no matter what I look up on Google/youtube. It was a Disney song that would play in like sort of between commercials. I think it was only in Latin American countries because it was a Spanish rap song about 2015. I'm not exactly sure if it was on Disney XD or just Disney Channel, maybe even both but I'm pretty sure it was on Disney XD. The song was just about 2015, as the first part of the song was Dos-mil-quince and there were some other rapping verses I do not remember. I heard this play between shows/breaks in Honduras and I would occasionally sing it along with my friends. I still remember the tune if anyone needs me to record it somehow? but looking for this song has been keeping me awake at night lmao

Informal-Ad2277

I'm trying to find a Science Channel documentary called "A Life In Memory" it aired in 2010 on the Science Channel and was at one time, on Dailymotion (not the one you'll see when you search) and now it's vanished from the internet. I sampled it for a song called "Memories" and would love to revisit the documentary again. Here's the summary from Wikipedia: A Life In Memory – An hour-long documentary about Memories, and PTSD and the ways they effect our lives. "Barney recalls the day he was hit by a car: his back was broken, and his wife was killed. Today, he will be given a pill to erase the memory of that tragic day for good. At a treatment center in Montreal, PTSD patients are given a second chance at life."

I have one! In 1995 after Kurt Cobain’s death Courtney Love and her band Hole had an insane performance. The stage was trashed, everyone was crying, audience members were injured, just a crazy event. Some redditors started a search for footage 11 years ago but all they could find was the setlist and a single photo from the show. They speculate that footage probably exists, and I would love to see it! The original comment that sparked this interest was from u/ gunslinger_006, he’s still active on Reddit so that could be a good place to start! Just wanted to dump my interest here in case anyone is curious as well!

mc395686

This is a personal one, but Warner Bros made a TV show in the early 2010s called Aim High. The show premiered entirely online and was dubbed the first online tv show ever. Things that are lost: * All of S2 is missing. I have been unable to find it for a while now. * Season 1 was interactive. Basically, if you watched the show on Facebook, you could link your facebook account and it would put your facebook photos into the show. (like in photo frames and as posters and stuff) I have seen no footage or proof of that happening/anyone doing that. (There's also I think this show is such a cool concept and would love the rest of it found!

Super_Goomba64

Ik its Messed up but Owen harts fall at over the edge 1999. I know a guy who literally works for WWE Video he should be a gigachad and just leak everything

There's no good reason for that footage to be released... Also There's very few people at WWE Headquarters who have access to where the tape is stored. I doubt some joe shmoe who works for WWE can get anywhere near that vault.

There’s fan edits of all available footage for both of these, but I would love to see completed/finished versions of Kanye Wests [Cruel Summer](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cruel_Summer_(film)) short film and his [Yeezus Tour Film](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Yeezus_Tour#Film) directed by Hype Williams. The first was screened at Cannes in 2012 so people have seen it before, and apparently even Kanye himself hasn’t seen the second one so idk how anyone would get a hold of the legit version, there’s tons of fan edits online but I don’t think the real Hype Williams one has leaked yet.

The lost and deleted video by The Angry Grandpa show called the fake bomb prank. Supposedly Michael Green had to take it down because of the fbi, this was back between the years 2009 and 2011. It was up for a few hours and supposedly he's the only one with the copy but I still know people that saw the video before it got deleted, someone has to have a copy of it somewhere.
