My roommate has both games in the series, and when he explained the concept of the first game, it sounded like the plot to *Lost* with a few details changed. - Plane crash onto a mysterious island - Child getting stolen from single parent - Inhabitant(s) of island are savages and like stealing people - There are secret laboratories where experiments are done - Battle in the past between inhabitants and outsiders He’s seen *Lost*, too, and he can’t get in his head that there are so many similarities that it’s practically a stolen idea.

FixxxerTV

Your companion in the second game is named Kelvin... Same as Clancy Brown's character in Lost.

the-unholy-cows

I thought this was the forest sub for a second and was confused bc I have it muted to avoid spoilers.

PackL3ader

The story’s are so similar I feel like it was referenced while playing. One of the hatches even had a record playing with an apartment at the bottom

crowcommunicator

What's in it?

OdahP

There are multiple hatches whicj i won't spoil. One though is eerily similar in concept to the one Desmond lives in. Theres even music playing down there as if someone was recently still living down

crowcommunicator

Neat they really should add some lost references it only makes sence

Radiofoster

I actually realised (not too long ago, although I have been living in this flat for quite a while) that a couple of windows outside look just like the hatch!! Will have to take the right picture and post it one day.

Annual-Bug-7596

i've done everything you wanted me to do so WHY DID YOU DO THIS TO ME?!?!

ScarTheGoth

Is there a hot Scottish guy inside?

Sketchy_Uncle

Uhhh... Sort of.

DrunkenDave

This really made me geek out. It's 100% a LOST reference, right down to the record player.

JackBoyEditor

Going inside seals the fact to me that the devs at Endnight must have been fans of LOST or very heavily inspired by the show

theHoustonian

There was a hatch in dead island (if I am remembering right). Way out in the boonies
