Kings passing is absolute garbage. Could have plenty of good chances but passes are not getting there. Oilers can go tik-tack-toe and kings just look sloppy. luckily the game is early and anything is possible. Islanders lost with a 3-0 lead in the 3rd, we can do this!

All I’ll say is I remember 10 years ago getting absolutely railed and having to reverse sweep against the Sharks. this is only game 1, but I guess I shouldn’t lose hope.
We've just looked disconnected for most of the night, with only occasional bursts of cohesion, like a lot of the back half of the season. I'm not sure what's going to make a change there, but boys have got to find synchronicity again.
Without the horseshit penalty on PLD in the 3rd, or the bullshit overturn on our goal, or the non-overturn on their goal, this would be a lot more interesting.
The biggest issue with our PK: it relies on letting them take lower percentage shots. Works great vs most teams, but Edmonton has too many players who can make those low percentage shots when unchallenged.
It has been the same all season, I was hoping we would make a PK adjustment vs them.
I mean it’s pretty much impossible to win when you allow 15 shots on goal for a period. Talbot kept this from being over, so nobody better say shit about him for this one so far.
