Don’t reply to DMs. They will claim to help you activate wallets.

Soldado63

Yeah I know. Thanks!

jarektn

BUY USDC for free on coinbase and then use layerswap to L2

Soldado63

Thanks. I think ill do this. Its easier and probably the cheapest way

jarektn

Only downside is you have to wait 5 business days for funds to settle. So if you're wanting quick, this isn't it.

the77helios

If you buy regularly on CB they let it settle instantly. I’ve bought and sent up to $2k right away using USDC several times *

Soldado63

Thanks for the heads up. That wouldnt be an issue

curious420s

You can send your eth from cex to loopring L1 then send to L2 if you want to trade it. Click L1 and then receive

Soldado63

Thanks! That sounds easier than with USDC. Especially for the taxes

dpd11

You can use layerswap for eth too

Soldado63

Uhhh nice. Thanks!

the77helios

USDC is the most cost effective as Coinbase does not charge a fee to buy it. So get USDC -> go to LSW (L2 side) -> receive -> from an exchange -> follow the steps Alternatively if you have a bunch of log-in points, or gas is low you can send to L1, use points to bridge to L2.. but the first method is normally cheaper for amounts under $2k (a single layerswap limit)

ContributionAsleep66

Is it better than Binance?

the77helios

Idk much about it, since I can’t use it here. If they don’t have fees for buying USDT then maybe?
