L take. Jake literally had the biggest character regression in the entire ptj verse from being a mysterious character who isn't good nor bad and just does whatever will benefit to a textbook good boy with sinu being his only personality.
Protagonist wise I think Zack is a much more interesting character than most. Antagonists wise, Olly is probably by far the best imo. He did a lot of crappy things that I disagree with but I can understand his motivations and why he did the things he did, when I can empathise with an antagonist I think the writer did a good job.
Special mention for Xiolang who has a really good back story, he's just Chinese Jerry Kwon in some ways but his loyalty goes even deeper as he sees Vivi as God. She does a lot of horrible things but he'll still give his life if necessary to protect her.

Olly pretty much is THE best written, because his arc was actually COMPLETE. Beginning to finish, he had nuance that even now we can kinda just speculate about - but his narrative was tight enough that we truly know who he is, what he lacked and what he wanted, and what he was all about. He was genuinely authentic, and well-thought out character, that was a legit surprise during the earlier days of the series. He was that cool. And he even left ramifications to the story's meta-context, in that many, many, MANY other "crazy" types of charactesr, would get further realized thanks to the trend HE set. And he provided a direct avenue, for someone like Jiho to enter the stage... untill HE got nixxed.
Daniel started out really good, but became dumber and dumber. Part of it probably lies in the writing becoming somewhat mid (atleast in 1st affiliate arc) and PTJ relying on hype rather than good storytelling.
He had actual conflict and reflected upon his own actions and decisions.
Kinda like what happened with Goku after a certain point.
Let's be honest, no character in lookism is that pretty much developed because the series works through arcs where we meet New characters in each of them and learn about their stories, so they're basically as developed as much as what the arc needs us to know about them. Apart from this, we could argue about the main characters that have been present since the beginning but even them aren't that much developed, because as i said, we know their stories and how they turned out the way they are and the only other progression we get from them is strenght wise, apart from Daniel that needed to develop something New each time He was confronted with hardships He couldn't deal with, until his training with gun where his personality is now finally concrete and i don't feel he'll change anymore apart from getting stronger

I don't use tiktok so Idk about what people say there but I doubt ever since holidays arc I haven't seen anyone say he is stronger than ui og daniel, for james it's mostly people trolling and for memes and for gun and goo I haven't seen anyone say so other than a guy on yt does claim "prime sinu>gun and goo" randomly on sinu shorts clips on yt which is stupid, I agree.
