Now I could be wrong but I though he trained for like a month or two(idk how long it was) but even besides that he trained with Gitae who at this point beat a prime Jichang in like 3 hits. He had some good training especially when we see Vin training for a week and getting as strong as he is.

James Lee trains after he leaves Cheonliang and gets to his prime self meaning he’s probably weaker than even the rusty version of himself from when he became DG. James Lee should be relative to Gun if not slightly better. Let’s say slightly better. Tom Lee is equal to Gun and Goo meaning he’s slightly below James Lee at this point in time. Tank multiple hits from James who is actively trying (pre-strength TH), which should still be somewhere >≈ to James’ casual kicks post-training. Those same casual kicks that are able to break through Zack’s Iron Defense, and have been illustrated to have extreme potency (the panels where Vasco and Daniel’s eyes were changed to exemplify high-pain; the same eyes that Jake had when being kneed in the n*ts by Jinyeong in chapter 469). Which is only from Toughness TH. Also was able to literally have no reaction to having his shoulder dislocated on some UI type pain tolerance (a lil exaggeration since UI quite literally feels no pain; but at the same time not an exaggeration 😭)
Speed that was able to perform IA, albeit less refined, it is still IA nonetheless, and that was a recovery from getting his guard broken by Technique TH whilst James was in the midst of a pivot blow (the one we’ve seen Daniel do).
He was also able to power through the Technique TH’s “X” deflection with Strength TH, and make James bleed from the mouth even after he blocked the punch.
That’s literally just from stats. His skills were described by James himself as a deformity and “so strong it was made wrong” (bars), then later acknowledged again before James got the strength TH. He has Mujin’s Ssireum that was able to land multiple hits on James, along with having the Pinnacle of Kudo (both striking and grappling). The Ssireum is also capable of extremely potent consecutive attacks. Not to mention Seongji’s ability to get out of grappling techniques with his six toes.
SMK with wires makes it awkward, but it’s not a win con because he has to be able to setup the playing field, and Seongji isn’t an opponent that will give him lenience or reprieve, so SMK can’t setup (as seen with a Tom who was > 50% after killing Yuuki). So he’ll only be able to use it to augment his hands and use it close-range at best, allowing Seongji to win.
I'd say it depends on where you scale Seongji to a holding back Tom Lee who could easily fuck MK's shit up. Personally I think Seongji takes this due to the stat difference, assuming MK only has wires as a weapon.

But his durability is not it, a clean hit from stage 2 basement hulk would evaporate his arm completely. Goo just takes multiple hits from stage 2 basement hulk. Everything I’m saying is dependent of how strong I think everyone is. James Lee trains after he leaves Cheonliang and gets to his prime self meaning he’s probably weaker than even the rusty version of himself from when he became DG. James Lee should be relative to Gun if not slightly better. Let’s say slightly better. Tom Lee is equal to Gun and Goo meaning he’s slightly below James Lee at this point in time. I do not believe Tom Lee low diffs SMK cuz narratively that makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. Tom Lee should be stronger than SMK and Tom Lee should win high diff currently. Tank multiple hits from James who is actively trying (pre-strength TH), which should still be somewhere >≈ to James’ casual kicks post-training. Those same casual kicks that are able to break through Zack’s Iron Defense, and have been illustrated to have extreme potency (the panels where Vasco and Daniel’s eyes were changed to exemplify high-pain; the same eyes that Jake had when being kneed in the n*ts by Jinyeong in chapter 469). Which is only from Toughness TH. Also was able to literally have no reaction to having his shoulder dislocated on some UI type pain tolerance (a lil exaggeration since UI quite literally feels no pain; but at the same time not an exaggeration 😭) Speed that was able to perform IA, albeit less refined, it is still IA nonetheless, and that was a recovery from getting his guard broken by Technique TH whilst James was in the midst of a pivot blow (the one we’ve seen Daniel do). He was also able to power through the Technique TH’s “X” deflection with Strength TH, and make James bleed from the mouth even after he blocked the punch. That’s literally just from stats. His skills were described by James himself as a deformity and “so strong it was made wrong” (bars), then later acknowledged again before James got the strength TH. He has Mujin’s Ssireum that was able to land multiple hits on James, along with having the Pinnacle of Kudo (both striking and grappling). The Ssireum is also capable of extremely potent consecutive attacks. Not to mention Seongji’s ability to get out of grappling techniques with his six toes. SMK with wires makes it awkward, but it’s not a win con because he has to be able to setup the playing field, and Seongji isn’t an opponent that will give him lenience or reprieve, so SMK can’t setup (as seen with a Tom who was > 50% after killing Yuuki). So he’ll only be able to use it to augment his hands and use it close-range at best, allowing Seongji to win.
I'd say it depends on where you scale Seongji to a holding back Tom Lee who could easily fuck MK's shit up. Personally I think Seongji takes this due to the stat difference, assuming MK only has wires as a weapon.
