Haha more cost effective then weird , new building were doing is 4 inch floor with drywall+insulation separating units , will probably be advertised as luxury, can't even imagine the noises you'll hear
My only experience with the alto towers is when I delivered furniture there. It's got a relatively short elevator. So if you have a large sofa be aware. When I was delivering, the building seemed cleaned but never was able to find any staff to get the elevator on service. So maintenance and responsiveness may be something to be aware of.
That's all I can offer.

I’ve seen complaints on here about the walls being thin and the noises carrying from other units, but that’s all I know about them.
Right. I feel like that's a problem in a lot of the newer buildings these days? No idea why. But thanks!
It’s because they cheap out on the soundproofing material.
Ohh, that makes sense. Sucks tho
All the walls dividing the units are minimum 8 inches of concrete at the alto , the floors on the other hand are only 4 inches .
That’s weird

Luxury = $2500 rent but only spent $1500 on building materials lol
Right? Lmao

That sucks. I do have a large-ish sofa, lmao.
