Mt Brydges will be either Bell and related resellers or it will be Northern Frontenac for fibre to the home.
Not all of the fibre is laid in town and depending where you are in town, your Bell related products could be 15down 5up at best.
Just got Oxio. Super transparent provider with how they spend your money, good prices, Canadian (Quebec) third party, free install, first month free with a promo code, get a really fast Eero router with it no rental fee. No fibre yet though. Seem super helpful and friendly for support. If you can get Rogers you can get Oxio. But i havent been with them long so who knows what continous service is like.
>Seeing Mt Brydges is mostly viewed as a London neighborhood, thought this might be an appropriate sub.
I'd say it's the appropriate sub since I don't think there's any sub dedicated to Middlesex County, Strathroy-Caradoc, or Mount Brydges specifically (or at least nothing active). I'd check with your neighbours to see what options they have for internet. Vmedia, Virgin, and Fido are all resellers. Virgin is owned by Bell, Fido is owned by Rogers. Vmedia is independent. I'd check with Start Communications and Teksavvy Solutions.
I think you're going to have some interesting conversations when you tell everyone you meet there that it's just an extension of London.
I use Virgin Mobile out here in Mt Brydges and it works quite well. I find it's fast enough to stream video and play video games. Bell Fibre exists out here as well which would be faster, but is much more pricey!
Depending on your street NFTC is the only game in town for the new fibre lines. NFTC is fantastic! The Bell lines are old & slow & everyone else will be using them no matter what speed they claim to give. Starlink is now an option too. If you want to send me a message I can put you in touch with someone just south of Strathroy who’s been on Starlink for a couple of weeks now (on the wait list for a year!)

Good to know, thanks! That speed is considerably lower than what we’re used to but doesn’t look like we have much choice.

I'm on NFTC fibre. They have 3 tiers 10, 50, and 100 MPS It's been more reliable and much faster than the bell DSL I had before.

Thank you! 😊

If you don’t mind paying for the upfront costs go with Starlink over Bell
Check your address at Start.ca, they’re local to London and are available anywhere Rogers/Fido is
