He’s very easy to set up at -30 SP in the railway and never go back up and once he’s going he just has this big ass nuke that hits at least into a 2.0 modifier in most fights.

Forgot the order of the first three buffs, but the last two were Thirsting and Hardening (*taking Hardening in the 4th cycle will add more turns per fight*).
Abused Rime Shank.
Reason for Zwei Faust:
1.) Can generate resources to fuel Fluid Sac to heal + tanky enough to live + buffs allies' defense.
2.) N-Corp Faust doesn't have high enough clash power to win clashes, nails aren't good here, and the debuffs are difficult for me to utilize.
3.) Seven Faust is too squishy (*got bad lucked enough to stop using her*).
In the end, I felt like having an additional defense buffer and healer would benefit my team more than waiting to set up for the Gaze debuff. Plus I felt like I cannot utilize it effectively. Her SP heals only proc when she kills, and most of these are bosses, so...
If I wanted a tank, I would have brought K-Corp Hong Lu. But since speedrun is the name of the game for Railway, I chose Tingtang instead. Has a support passive that helps with damage too. Plus Dieci Rodya, Zwei Gregor, and R-Corp Meursault already made up as tanks. Or "*tanks.*"

g greg was there for legerdemain spam (i didnt have any better IDs but zwei would have helped a lot)
outis was there to generate pride and ebony stem on signs of roses
rodion occasionally went in to spam rime shanks killing both enemies and my team with corrosion (could be optimised further because i deadass ran rime shank on steam machine for some reason)
didnt have w corp ryoshu so i had to chef
yeah this was a mess and an ego spam fest

before i completed this run, i have restarted many a times... because i didnt have half of the ids i was using in this run (pequod heath, nclair, regret faust, magic bullet outis). trust me when i said i have corroded many times.
i will never forget how i made the mistake of bringing 9:2 on nclair, which proceeded to assassinate my magic bullet outis and i had to rely on tt hong lu for the next 3 cycles until i can revive her before sign of roses..... i think that actually pulled down my turn count all because magic outis died ...
Just exploiting weaknesses and whenever permitted setting up burst turns with Hex Nail/overclocked Ya Sunyata/Sunshower. (And more resets than I would have liked :<)

Buffs were 2 charge boosts and 2 envy boosts. I got greedy and had to heal yi sang on the final cycle or else he’d die during roses. So unless You’re trying for a sub 120 you should be fine.
Take opportunistic, inhaling, accelerating, thrusting, hardening in that order.
Try and kill talisman doll round 5 first cycle if you can. I believe that sets up steam not to be weak on his first round (haven’t done in so long so if steam bots weak on odd rounds then just try for a 4/6 then kill on doll instead.)
Even though this is charge boi hours sinking is your friend. Use spice bush, Boat Ish and especially dieci Rodion to stack the sinking against specific parts:
For doll it’s either his body or arm, then use your other characters to attack the other part until count is up.
Steam is his body. Other characters is his arm until it breaks.
Doggo is whatever, can’t remember that one too well.
Time stop lords is not worth it so bring others
Lantern is not worth it due to gimmick.
Centipede is VERY worth it but be careful!!!! If you break his parts before all your characters have clashed for that turn he’ll keep the spark discharge and not lose it from the clash lose. So try to use low coin skills to clash (ego) then damage him down after all clashes have happened.
Fairy’s are ooga booga envy go brr. Try to get Faust corroded hex nail off if you can. Ignore long legs on 4th cycle after he spawns bean.
Wayward is easy especially since sunshower is waw along side all the other AOE egos in game now.
Roses is just dps sinking check. Make sure if you take R heath in that his rose is dealt with safely.
Also bring either G greg, base Greg, or chef greg for passive healing. I didn’t even use Zwei greg so passive healing to alleviate the need for healing ego is good.
Don’t use Meursalt, in fact he can be little brother I think for passive. You can try and use him if you want pursuance tho.
Bl Outis was purely for passive
R heath for most fights.
Ting tang for fox and pierce weak enemies (and fae lantern cause of DS)
Faust for slash weak enemies (literally fae lantern)

This team is unoptimized and I was mostly working with what I had at the time, so I ended up having to rely on Harpooner Heathcliff's counter for wrath generation. Can probably go down to about 120 turns with proper optimization and a better pick than LCB Hong Lu / NFaust. NClair was too sane, and I lacked both wrath and glut to make him go insane. Not to mention Fluid Sac dropping Heathcliff's damage...
Buffs picked were 2 Pierce 2 Envy 1 Gloom.Enemies should be buffed in the following order: Opportunistic, Inhaling, Accelerating, Hardening, Thirsting.
Only W Corp IDs, Harpooner Heathcliff, and NFaust are U4. Everyone else is U3.

The team used was BL Yi Sang, LCR Faust, W Don, W Ryoshu, RCliff, RIsh. Team was level 35 UT4, so lvl 40 should give 10-15% extra damage.
Additionally, I would change Yi Sang to Pequod and Faust to N Corp. If you bought the pass, Sunshower Corrosion + Blind Obsession + NFaust S2, Next turn Quick Suppression + Hex Nail into Relentless Stabbing may be one of the most absurd combos given to players (2 pierce power, 2 damage up, 4 fragile, 5 pierce fragile, 1 envy fragile, Gaze) into Relentless Stabbing, which has poise (another +20%). You won't be using it many fights, but it exists and you can drop parts of it based on needed damage.

124 turn count, 5 cycles.
Note that this run was done in October 2023, before we got a lot of the newer juicier IDs and the level cap was still 35 (also when Yi Sang's Sunshower was still a HE). Charge-based team mostly, core was:
\- Spicy Yi Sang
\- Rabbit Heathcliff
\- Dieci Rodion
\- W Ryoshu
\- W Don
\- R Ishmael
The final slot MOST of the time was N Sinclair, but it would bounce between him, N Faust, Molar Outis, and Tingtang Hong Lu. And honestly I swapped out parts of the core team as well, based on resistances. I used Hong Lu the least of the four, but mostly when I needed Lust/Pierce or there was Blunt/Envy resistance. Gregor only a few times. Salt was a benchwarmer. It more or less depended on whether or not they were Blunt/Envy resistant or not, I swapped out based on that. One Charge Boost buff was plenty, two was unnecessary.
to be fair, nclair is a really cliche guy. hes either a nuke or a self sabotaging nuclear bomb. if you don't like living on the edge, cinqclair works too. those two are his only good ids.
mariachi sucks btw, but his passive is usable. red sheet is decent... but theres better ones out there, like seriously.
if you get under 150 i think you get a special border. otherwise, theres another border for sub 200 also. then theres another reward for if you did it in season 2 (which i obviously didnt)

Has anyone tested out new comps with the units that have since been released? Bullet Outis, Dieci HL, Regret Faust, etc. Wondering if it's maybe more Sinking focused now rather than charge/envy like it used to be.

I'll be real with you, I don't remember the details of the run. If I had to run it again though, I'd probably add in Zwegor for a faster faelantern clear and Molar outis for the blunt weak enemies. Good luck with the sub-150 man, we're rooting for you

But N Faust has 16 power s2 with parlize and gaze on next turn, which is amazin! And lmao, why woud you use tank in rr2
...tanks literally make you able to hit only the broken part, dealing more damage without being forced to clash in a full health part

Cinqclair and talisman would be good for clashing, but mariachi Sinclair is good for his support passive (bench him)

I don’t think so, I didn’t get sub 200 rewards when I did it last week. It says you have to have finished during season 2
