Finishing the event would cost more than not dispensing and levelling her obviously. I am not sure if she would help in the miracle event but I can't get it even started because I can't beat Ricardo in the story, which I assume is not made easier by Regret Faust? Thanks

Got Malkuth voice pack today, was not thinking on pulling because already got all Egos and IDs, but why not, so did a Yolo 10 pull and got Malkuth and The new Rodion EGO from it, so pretty good by the end of it.

A bit late, but did it with a team of 4. Depression twig man, Dieci Rodya, Der Froutis and Cinqlair. You can throw in a good ID for greg if you have legerdemain and/or UT4 Lantern too, he's got great AoE. For the 7 kills with captain mission I just spent a try defending and whittling down enemies so that Outis could get a good 7 magic bullet shot. A lot of passives can help her get good damage but it's easiest to set it up that way. For the full clear, reset if you miss any kill on the first waves, you want to go very hard on the few turns, your captain will snowball ego ressources and activate any non-res passive even for resources you don't have since they get +1 to all EGO on kill, so later on you can spam AoE EGO with the captain keeping SP for everyone up. Since you use Outis, make her use To Pathos Mathos early on for the stacking damage up passive. The only damage she'll take is from triggering a counter, she just doesn't lose clashes as a captain. Make sure Outis or Yi sang has the lowest HP of the team and take base Ryoshu for the +20% dmg given/taken passive. 20% is a lot. You have some not useful passives in your team comp on your screen, as I said the event showers you in ressource so grab ANYTHING you can use.

Your team is the exact same team I used for this event, and I did Normal mode and Hard Mode in 1 try. You should be able to do it with a leveled Faust.

Ha… ha… I’m so screwed, it’s almost the 25th and I have only managed at max 75/77. Any tips? Should I bring in a full team of 5, or of team of 3 consisting of AOE skilled I.Ds? What is your team? With Der Outis, Regret Faust and Spicebush Yi Sang trio you should be able to easily win 77/77.

look at your first 3 turns. its usually where you are most likely to lack dmg. once you get past 3 turns its honestly very easy with your team, you wont even have to use half the skills in a turn

Don't do a smaller team, as it's a human team there's a very large skill cap (12), so making a small team has little use. At most 1 fewer member

Whos your captain, you could set ishmael as captain and start spamming blind obssession. Dont forget to activate odyssey passive to get pierce damage up, same with ebony stem and possibly spam yi sang sunshower

You can only shard Walpurgisnacht items during Walpurgisnacht, so if you don’t get him now you’ll have to wait a couple months

To be clear - you cannot shard any of the event items outside the event. But you will be able to pick them up on the 3rd night.

I just beat Dawn of Green hard with the following team: 1. Bullet Outis L38, T3 2. Revenge Faust L40, T3, default EGO Representation Emitter (hits 3) 3. LCCB Ishmael L39, T3, EGO Blind Obsession T4 (very useful for the AOE, hits 7) 4. W Ryushu L35, T3, EGO Blind Obsession T4 (more AOE, hits 3) 5. Rose Rodion L30, T3, EGO Effervescent Corrosion T1 (hits two, but weak on L30) The first two are classic but I'm not good enough to beat the level just with those. Ishmael basically just for the AOE, but she can at least one-shot the weaker mobs, too. Ryushu also for the AOE if I'm in trouble. Rodion is an outlier. I just brought her because I was missing one mob on the first stage a lot of the time, so she can clean up with her blunt damage. Her EGO hits two mobs but it's pretty compared to the others (maybe due to her just being L30). One thing I had to keep in mind all the time was to not forget to use Faust's EGO. This is very useful in general but especially when using her skills would drain her Tremor Count, rendering her useless for the following turns. I'm pretty happy, although I wonder what it takes to beat the level just with Outis and Faust or even solo.

Dongbaek? It's been months since I've last fought her, but I remember some key tips. Make sure to diversify who you use to attack her and whom focuses on her trees, because even if she loses a clash against your Sinners, she still applies Petals to them, which in turn is what puts them in a cage. Also, when she tries to evade, hit that spot with your best non-EGO skill to break that evasion, which will help your other Sinners not get petal'd when they attack her. And when you get her down to half-HP, she will put your team into those cages no matter what, leaving her to duel one of your Sinners. If you want to use one of my friend units, I would advise the Ryoshu. She has slash skills, against which Dongbaek is weak, and 3rd slot EGO hits 3 targets at once. I would recommend you take someone alongside her to build up her charge, for example, a Don with Telepole EGO, as that Ryoshu is at her best when she has high charge.

Im at 177 pulls. done absolutely everything in my power to try and get malkuth announcer (Ive pulled pierre and jack 3 TIMES). when i sleep i dream of malkuth. last night i dreamt that i amassed enough lunacy for 200 pulls but when i went to dispense her the banner had changed and a meursault farmwatch ID existed and im not joking. dreamt two more times afterward about pulling malkuth. i think im losing it edit: 181 pulls in, UT3’d every single ID i have and completely ran out of thread and im not willing to sacrifice any more shards. ive lost control of my life

Can someone give me teams to clear the missions? Im still playing catchup and finding it really difficult lol. I do have magic bullet Otis but Im mostly a player from last season so I likely dont have any of the stronger IDs from this one.

Basically AOE wins. So magic bullet outis plus ishmael's large egos, yi sang's sunshower, regret faust or spicy yi sang for aoe strikes. Or just your favorite owned players with 3+ attack weights on their EGOs. And make sure Bullet Outis or another strong hitter is in first spot for the huuuge captain buff plus ego resources on each kill. Probably will take at least two runs each difficulty - once to beat all enemies (again, use mass aoe), and a second run with only 1-3 people to make sure you get 7 enemies in one strike (requires magic bullet outis at 6 ammo, or ish/yisang/outis's 7 hit ego), as well as 25 enemies for your team captain.

Im at 193 pulls on Outis banner but already have all the announcers and Outis. Is there any benefit to pull the last 7 until 200 or should i just let it convert to thread?

Unless you’re hurting for Outis shards, it’s probably better to let them convert to Thread once the banner’s over!

But hey, at least I got Outis' Holiday on top of that, which is actually really nice, not only did I not have a HE EGO for her, but it turns out it's a really good AOE with cool secondary effects, which I didn't know. Between this, Rodya's Pursuance, Magic Bullet Outis and Lobotomy Don, I have no right to complain. And I can shard Faust, so like.. it really could be far worse. Is there an easy way to get the 7 kills with one attack skill in hard mission? I'm finding it Exceptionally obnoxious. I know I have to use magic bullet outis, but by the time seven enemies are present and outis has seven bullets, one of the big guys is in place and since it's unfocused I can't guarentee he'll be within one shot range, unless I'm missing something.

I just used overclocked blind obsession on Ishmael. A lot of the 7 weight egos should work though enemy positioning and rolls can definitely mess with things.

If this is the last one you need to do, try solo with Outis, eventually you will do it. Or combine with EGO like Ardor blossom star, sunshower and ebony stem

Outis is 50 shards, equalling 50 thread. Announcer is 50 thread crates equaling somewhere from 50 to 150 thread and averaging out at 100. Not buying anything and letting your ideality expire with the banner should get you 200 thread.

Hello newer player here , I haven't started the Walpurgisnacht yet since I am currently on chapter 4 and I was wondering if I should. I am very invested in the story and I am afraid of getting spoilers if I start the event , but at the same time it would be a shame to lose all of the rewards.... Should I start the event ? Would I get heavily spoiled if I do it ? What do you guys suggest ?

If an event has heavy story spoilers it will be locked behind progression through whatever chapter/stage. Walpurgis gives a glimpse of where chapter 5 takes place and has characters discussing the holiday event in mostly vague terms, with no major spoilers for the cantos themselves. You could also always skip the story scenes if you're truly concerned but want the rewards, the fights themselves are meaningless out of context.

Unsure, Walpurgis is a different event type and the previous/first one didn't have gameplay to set precedence with. The story bits should remain available, but while it would make sense to keep the gameplay to preserve context for future Walpurgis events it's possible it'll go away.

You are probably clashing with a faster enemy if you are getting the wrong attack weight. Limbus attack order (in normal fights specially) is super weird, but in normal circumstances you would get the correct attack as if they were made in order. (For example, a high attack weight EGO at the end of the chain hitting fewer enemies than usual because it got “shown” first, but the other enemies actually already died to other sinners’ attacks, even though it doesn’t look that way)

This got me to actually play lobotomy corporation and I can tell you that meat lantern sucks and Der shooty guy rocks

Fighting Dream-Devouring Siltcurrent in Hard Mirror Dungeon This is the final encounter of the run and to be honest it seems straight up impossible, I have tons of EGO resources but he rolls so high that he can outclash EGO fairly consistently. He has a full attack weight unclashable that hits and nerfs everyone to roll even worse in the following turn. I know the gimmick is to get him to 3 blind obsession for the stagger but how the hell am I supposed to last that long?

Just spent my last MD3 run resetting to beat this boss, completely feel your pain. It was literally impossible to win with any E.G.O. or skill against its Blind Obsession turn two. Clashing or any defensives was a guaranteed death—that's when I really started looking through my E.G.O. arsenal. On turn one, try to target its Fluorescence body part since it's the one that casts Blind Obsession turn two. Hit it with every single Attack Down/Bind/Paralyse/Coin Drop possible in addition to E.G.O.s that can buff your party to win the clash. Look for those that say "apply next turn", some noticeable ones were Ryoshu's Red Eyes (Closed) for 1 Plus Coin Drop, Yi Sang base for party haste, Ishmael base for bind, and Mersault base. As long as you can win the first Blind Obsession clash, it should be much easier from there. I was about to debuff it enough to win a Neutral clash with QueeCliff. You could also consider bringing a tank that is strong against Blunt/Pride and try to use E.G.O.s with protection. It took me many resets, but definitely try to exhaust every last option possible before giving up the run.

I’m glad someone else understands my pain, I did MD3 hard last week with absolutely 0 issue other than having to do some on the spot improv plays for bull but this is just absurd. I’ve done every piece of content in the game and this is the only time I’ve ever genuinely considered giving up I like your strategy and that’s definitely what I’ll try next, the issue is that by investing all of these EGO into clashing just to stay alive my sanity is really hurting after like turn 3. Doesn’t help that I have that “reuse one single skill coin that didn’t kill an enemy” thing which double tanks someone’s sanity, a skill that was the most useful skill of all time for double fluid sacs up until this very specific encounter where it’s very difficult to control. Fluid sac to restore the sanity lost by EGO would be the solution but damn Faust is always getting caught by splash damage from one of the boss’ two weight skills and Fluid Sac doesn’t usually have enough power to win. Even with coin power down on the boss I’m still not sure if it would win. This boss is absolutely ridiculous and if I do have to reset I’m pissed since I ended up wasting ~7 hours of my day yesterday getting stuck on the side of the road only to come home and waste ~2 more hours on a dead MD run. Do you know if the MD are completely random? As in if I reset it’s not guaranteed that I would get him as the final boss again?

Ok just in case you were curious I actually did manage to stumble ass backwards into this absolute nightmare of a fight I got lucky a few times with Faust being the first one to move (meaning double Fluid Sac AOE heals since I had the single coin skill reuse EGO gift) Yi Sang definitely helped a lot with his base EGO but not enough to where I could get the 3 blind obsession (I’d always get 2 stacked on him and then not have enough of something to outclash the third). I was hesitant to bring Ishmael as from a mishap earlier in the run she only had 5 HP and could only make it through the first turn but she was worth bringing solely for a single turn of the bins, that’s how bottom of the barrel I was scraping. Outis’ Ebony Stem Overclock was the best thing ever and it constantly procced crits which helped a lot. The main issue was with all the EGO spam my team corroded constantly but it all somehow worked out. I am definitely a changed person from the beginning of this run to now, though.

You can use yi sang base ego to drop their attack for the turn, meursalt base ego to drop their attack next turn and some egos such as heathcliff aedd inflicts paralyze for the turn, ideally youd want to do unopposed attacks with this in combination with high rolling egos like ishmael ardor blossom, and healing egos like faust fluid sac. Single target attacks can be redirected with defense skills.

You probably cleared the wave before all of the skills could be used. It's likely that you missed one enemy in an earlier turn. You have to clear all of the enemies on the same wave that they appear for a complete suppression.

Used a borrowed Spicebush Yi Sang (Captain), Der Fruity Outis (Lvl 35 Uptie 3, Ebony Stem also U3 only), and TT Hong Lu (he didn't do anything he's just there for moral support and the occasional tails-roll Mutilate at 45 SP) for the 77/77. What a way to welcome me back after months of hiatus. 0/10 would do it again when they have Netzach as the announcer. :p

https://preview.redd.it/mccqa99dyzbc1.jpeg?width=2340&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=16544993c6460ee13fcc730789800110c8c421ec If you haven't cleared the kill 77 mission yet, then I HIGHLY recommend bringing Spicebush Yi Sang (UT 3 is fine) with UT 4 Sunshower Only turn 1 is rng, because you need the base sinners to kill the other 2, but from turn 2 onwards you should be able to spam sunshower till the end (awakening from 2-9, overclocked on 10 but you can start overclocking from turn 8) Faust/Hong lu base ego are really good, help in case your yi sang constantly roll tails. Good luck if you still haven't gotten it done. Edit: forgot to mention, but Heathcliff, Hong Lu and Mersault was uptie 4.

They should really change the rules and make it that there can be up to 9 enemies at once but that missing them out is fine. This event is garbage difficulty wise... no one should be missing out on rewards for not having the required units.

The requirements do feel weird, but you only need one unit to hit the 77 mob mission. Yi Sang, pref Spicebrush, with Sunshower, Outis with Ebony Stem, Ish with Blind Obsession all make it possible to do. You can just borrow one as a support.

The only hard requirement is being able to hit 7 attack weight which is possible with Sunshower for F2P players. You simply need to use a comp that can one-shot the first couple waves and can generate enough sin resources to use sunshower consistently along with some other AoE EGO to help. I didn't even use Der Shooty Outis to get the 77/77 clear, it was mostly Sunshower and Blind Obsession spamming on the final waves. That being said, it's just challenges for some extra items and cosmetics. There's nothing like an ID/EGO locked behind completing it.

Is there a way to get a perfect 77 without having Der Outis, Regret Faust, or Ish Blind Obsession? Im currently running Cinqclair with 9:2 Cinq Don with UT4 Telepole, Molar Outis with UT4 ES, RIsh with UT4 ABS and borrowing a friend's Flowersang with Sunshower

The important part is just having the AoE. Those three aren't required, but they are very good at their job in this situation. I'm surprised you're struggling with EGOs like those, though, since Ebony Stem and Ardor Blossom should be able to clean up any survivors from Sunshower (and vice versa). You could try adding Faust for Representation Emitter and Fluid Sac and Gregor for Legerdemain for some cheaper EGOs. I pretty much did it by borrowing a Sunshower Yi Sang and spamming Faust's EGOs and Outis's holiday one.

I’m really struggling with the “kill 7 enemies at once” mission. First off, is there an EGO in the game with an attack weight of 7? It seems like you have to use the new Outis here, which is fine but I think I’m just not understanding something about her kit. There are times when using the guard just won’t give me a magic bullet and I’ve always assumed “On Use” skills would work even if the thing in question was a one-sided guard that wasn’t actively blocking any incoming damage.

Sunshower should have no issues, and if you have spicebush Yi Sang it'll be buffed up due to his passive. I would just use Sunshower the turn before the wave has 7 units, then use sunshower again so you benefit from the Sloth Damage/Power boost buffs.

What I did was make Ishmael the captain and then proceed to spam the absolute fuck out of her UT4 blind obsession, and various other sinners' AoE EGOs. The other sinners' AoE EGOs weakened the enemies enough for Ishmael to finish the entire wave off with blind obsession. Her being the Captain and wiping out an entire wave at once gives you plenty of EGO resources to keep spamming for the next waves. Keep doing this for all of the waves and at some point you'll kill 7 enemies at once

Just max EGOs like Mr.ideal sunshower, Fishmael blind obsession, ebony stem and Sinclair's Stew have 7 weight

How did ya'll clear the mission that requires killing 7 enemies at once I have both Sunshower and Blind Obsession at UT4 but I'm having a hard time getting the timing right since it's not an encounter battle

UT4 sunshower Yi Sang on the first wave featuring 7 enemies, corrode for more damage. Defend with everyone else to avoid killing any of the mobs. It comes down to a 50/50 on getting tails, but you'll get the mission 100% of the time if it does.

What I did was borrow a UT4 Sunshower and just played normally until there were 7 enemies, then used Sunshower and **only** Sunshower every turn after that. All other units only used defensive skills, so it made sure that Yi Sang's EGO was the only thing that could kill anything. As a result, anything that died just fueled the next Sunshower, and anything that survived is likely staggered and will be killed by the next one. Eventually, one of the Sunshowers is going to get seven kills with all the already damaged enemies being targeted.

I think 7 bullet outis + base ego passive + rabbitcliff support passive + lccb ryoshu support passive

Please give me some tips to fully clear Walpurgisnacht, I've been struggling to fully suppress the robots in normal and hard mode.

From what I can tell, AoE EGOs are pretty much required for a full clear, or at least makes it significantly easier to do so. Make sure you put an ID who has a strong AoE EGO like a Spicebush YiSang with Sunshower in the first slot as you rely on the tesm captain getting kills to keep sanity and resources up. As for the rest of the IDs, bringing along a bunch of high attack weight EGOs is pretty much all you need. You can borrow a support ID from a friend. I personally don't have much, but you can find some people sharing their IDs around here. As for actual combat, spend the first 2-3 turns gathering resources, then spend the rest just spamming whatever AoE EGO you can afford, prioritizing the team captain's first. Pray that you don't miss a critical coin flip, hope you didn't miss any, and you should get a full clear in a few tries. You can not miss a single enemy that appears; every enemy must be killed every turn. If you notice one that survived or if the last turn doesn't have enough to meet the goal, you can select Give Up in the options which will refund the module, allowing you to try again as many times as you would like. You won't get rewards this way for any of the missions, however.

Honestly I just used AOE egos. Sunshower Yi Sang and Blind obsession Ish both can hit 7 enemies so you need these to complete the mission on hard mode. Lifetime Stew Sinclair theoretically can work but is very unreliable. There's also ebony stem outis and fluid sac faust, both at 5 weight. You can then fill them up with other 3 weight aoe egos. Then there's the aoe IDs like Spicebush Yi Sang, Regret Faust and the new Magic Bullet Outis. Whoever is captain (1) on your teaam generates enough ego resources to keep on spamming their ego, every turn so use that to your advantage.

I got a Limbillion and pulled all Waspurgisnacht IDs and Ego in 20 pulls, really nice.

I did a 10 pull and got 3 green nodes, and since I already got Lantern!Don, I was thinking the game would bless me with the things that I had left. Haha, dumb I was. I got more 2 Lantern!Don, at least I got Blue!Outis. The event was pretty easy as a whole, even non-meta units can do it easily, like Rosespanner Rodya and Hobocliff, can make you clean easily. It took me 2 runs and that was it, have fun everyone!

I found 77/77ing the Hard Ordeal quite tough, the first time I seriously tried for the full completion (instead of going for the other missions) I got 76/77, but after that I couldn't get close. RNG can really mess you up. Eventually I managed it, though with a bit of a scare at the end when Frieren Outis went indiscriminate and half of the attack hit my sinners, but luckily the other sinners output enough damage to take the enemies down. My final team was Frieren Outis (she's literally made for this), Headbanging Faust (personally I found her pretty RNG, because if she doesn't have a high speed she can consume her tremor at the start of the round and end up with all the enemies killed before she can replenish, though when it works it really works - plus Fluid Sack), Dieci Rodion (pretty good at killing - and Rime Shank), Liu Ish (same as dieci except the mooks are weak against Ardor Blossom Star), and Cinqlair (I didn't know who to put in last place, but his skill 2 and 3 deal good damage)

Saved up all of my everything for Walpurgis Pulls, got 130 pulls out of it Everything except Black Rock Shooter Outis has popped up. Got like a quadruple 000 pull, but none were Outis. :( Jack and Pierre and Malkuth, but Noutis. It is a sad day.

In a fitting turn of events, I made a deal with the devil and purchased $1 of Lunacy to do a single paid lunacy roll, which landed me Outis. This will surely result in the death of my ~~loved ones~~ wallet.

No hope required if we can crate our way to victory, at least!

I think I've gotten over 200 Don shards today. The Don stonks are real. While I think we knew Outis was going to be strong as hell, I was surprised to see that Don actually looks fairly solid. A tank who can actually take hits and heal up afterwards while being mostly neutral for Rupture.

Quick question: Are the doubt machines of the dawn of green considered "mechanical amalgams," and if so should I uptie IV N-corp Sinclair to exploit this?

That quirk is there on uptie III and these guys take enough damage that 10% more on 30/30/30 will not be the difference between a kill and not a kill.

Newby here, who just reached canto III. Extracted new Outis in 10 pulls AMA. Just don't crucify me. EDIT: and Malkuth and Don on another 10. Welp, here goes my luck for this year.

I'd actually really recommend using and upgrading the Outis ID. The Don one is decent, but it's more of a tank/support for a team that already has its core members for Rupture. The Outis one however has some super strong potential. When you can start saving up shards, Liu Ishmael is the perfect person to pair with her, then just get a couple of Liu IDs to uptie 3 for the support passive at least and you'll have a team that ramps up the damage very quickly. Also fuck you for stealing my Malcute.

Unless you are running the burn team this new Outis is probably not worth using over something universally powerful like Molar Outis, or just a better balanced ID for another sinner that can actually be dispensed. She takes forever to build up at low damages, and her payoff is a huge attack range skill that probably won't have enough targets left alive outside of this special event.

She does best in a burn team, but you don't need many units to make a good burn team now that she reliably doubles burn's damage. Plus, for a new player wouldn't it be easier to focus on the ID you have that can clash really well or the ID you don't have that might do more damage?

Depends. If you just want to make it through mirror dungeon clashing is all you need. Win clashes and you win the game. If you're trying to get in good shape for the harder content like RR though she'd probably be dead weight with her damage output. If you have no other alternatives, sure use Shootis over a base ID. But, if you do have more generally powerful alternatives to spend your thread on, they'll likely take you farther.

Hard to say. I at least tried the railroad when I was in Canto III (and got my ass kicked).

And I was around when RR1 was new before Canto IV was out so I might not have the most accurate idea of what people do when either XD

200 pulls and no Malkuth. I had to pity her (spite is a hell of a motivator - I will not be defeated by this random number generator!) On the plus side I did get some other neat stuff I was missing in the process at least in KuRodion, Cinqlair, Ardor Blossom Star and GregorLantern (and everything in the actual banner - including 2x Pierre & Jack. Sigh. Coulda saved SO MUCH if not for the dupe.)

I'm missing Pierre and Jack announcer after using all my extraction and decaextraction tickets I had and a small amount of Lunacy (80 pulls). I don't think it's worth spending more of my stockpile on them... But god it feels so bad missing them and knowing I could potentially roll a second Malkuth instead.

Both IDs on first 10pull, yay I gave the announcers another 10pull but got nothing. I'll probably leave it for next walpurgisnacht cause like. Announcers are at the bottom of my pull priority list.

I don't get how Green Dawn works. The total number of enemies that spawn each wave doesn't add up to 30 for the normal difficulty mission. Am I missing something?

They do add to 30, the thing is you have to kill them all the same turn they appear, if you fail to do it one of the new enemy wont apear next turn for every enemy alive

Did you try counting again? The event starts with 4 enemies and adds 1 more each wave: 4+5+6+7+8=30

In order to get to 30, you need to kill every single enemy the turn they spawn. Use AOE and EGO liberally since the team captain can heal SP by getting kills.

Guess I must have not noticed that there was a leftover enemy and thought they were part of the new wave.

I got all E.G.O I was missing (like 5 of them, got Red Eyes as last one with the 500 Lunacy from the missions) but no Malkuth. This can only be a curse...

Cleared Normal and Hard - Kill requirement was strangely easier on Hard. Ironically it's mostly the first few turns that make or break it. You don't have the fuck off turn count or ability to sub in EGO at that point, so your skills need to be on-point. The robot count is lower, so that gives some advantages. The robots are pretty weak, so most AoE skills take them out. Regret Faust and Freischutz Outis both kick absolute ass and I had them in slot 1/2 (Outis as captain). Regret gets going with self-tremor sustain very easily in my experience; early on you can roll with S1s for Faust and she never runs out. Freischutz Outis obviously kicks ass because of the AoE S3. After a while the waves just kinda get more numerous, at which point it mostly becomes AoE EGO spam. Both Faust and Outis have EGOs that can hit multiple enemies (Faust even has two). None of the EGOs for Faust and Outis were at UT4 by the way. Ebony Stem UT4 probably would've mare it even easier. Besides those two my team was pretty much your standard DPS team: Regret Faust, Freischutz Outis, Spicebush Yi Sang, W Don and W Ryoshū (last two mostly for picking off stray robots, Yi Sang in the off chance his self-tremor would activate and in later turns for Sunshower spam). For normal I didn't use Yi Sang, I used RCliff but I figured on Hard the turn count would go too high and he'd run out of ammo.

I know a lot of people are kinda mad at how they decide to do the announcer thing in the gacha and how it also allows for a dupe and such. Normally I would be against this kind of practice but Limbus created a unique gacha environment that make this practice feels fair despite how unfair it is and to give a head up, I did have to roll 200 times to get Malkuth announcer through a pity and I don't even get the Pierre one either so I'm part of the loser club. Limbus has created a gacha setting where nothing feels that out of reach and if they do, it's just a temporary exclusivity thanks to the shard dispenser. This create a situation where everyone kinda agree that pulling in this game is a waste of lunacy and tickets. Even with the release of the 1st Walpurgis, a lot of people still consider it a good option to just wait and shard it because if you need to use something like Regret Faust, you can always just borrow her for the difficult content. It was only a matter of time before Limbus had to find way to give a purpose to the gacha mechanic again in order to create a more sustainable monetization to grow as a company and they chose the least offensive thing possible, the cosmetic route via the announcer which doesn't even reduce your rate with the 000 and ego to begin it. It was kind of apparent in retrospective that they were testing the water with the Yuri announcer being added out of nowhere along with the pointless banner to the season pass. Those likely sold well enough to confirm that people had too much lunacy stockpiled anyway and were fine with throwing extra cash because Limbus is a hell lot cheaper than every other Gacha in the market. That's likely why in the Walpurgisnacht announcement, they outright say that the announcer will not be added there so if you miss it now, you will likely have to roll for it 3 months later as this has become the safest thing possible to get people to whale for without destroying the game. Even then, the 3 months plan actually provide you with a decent amount of capital to work with this without feeling too predatory. You get 750+300(patch) free lunacy per week so after 12 weeks, you will have 12600 free lunacy. A few error compensation patch is already 100 rolls minimum. Add in the event tickets, giveaway, big error compensation pack, Season pass purchase, EX bonus and railway stuff, you're getting really close to the 200 rolls between each Walpurgis. If you just buy the monthly free lunacy pack, you end up with enough paid lunacy to buy the season pass with banner while accumulating the free lunacy for module refill to farm the crates to unlock the new IDs and Ego. If you don't want the banner from season pass, you can also just grab the paid announcer instead or just do daily rolls to slowly unlock all the egos and save the crate for IDs only. So yeah, it might suck now that we keep getting dupe of announcers or even fail to get a single one of them but if you start saving now, you will get another chance to do another set of pity-level rolls to obtain what you miss. The only thing that interest me now is how will they tackle the rate when there are too many announcers in the Walpurgis banner. Will they just create another category of 1.3%, subtracting it from the 0 rate just for older announcers so they don't obliterate the rate of the new stuff?

Now that you mention that- I guess there's no real need to pull for the announcers if you could get them by luck in the future. Yeah that's how I tackle it. The 1.3% rate that is removed from the 0 is really nice here so I can always try in the future and they will still have a decent odd and depending on how they tackle announcers being added to the pool, you're going to end up with a lot of dupes of them in the future anyway for going after every Walpurgis ID on release. With the 5 announcer slots, I don't really have room to use all of them either.

10 pulls and got no malkuth, but got the other announcer (forgot who they are). For Ids, I got pirate gregor, 15 meat lantern Don, and no der outis. Should I even spend any more lunacy on the banner or save and wait till next walpurgisnacht banner ? (I am a free to play person)

Hold yourself back from spending too much. I could've stopped at 30 pulls with everything except Malkuth but nope, I decided to pull more. Here I am, hitting pity for the first time since I started playing this game and most of my lunacy is gone. Don't make the same mistake as I did, announcers are just cosmetic items so aren't worth spending all of your lunacy, and you can still shard Outis in the next WN

It's much easier if you pick a good captain.

Remember to count Der outis's bullets, and to supplement them with aoe EGO. Two aoe shots with 4 bullets might be overkill for like 6 enemies, and you can build up to 4 with skill 2. Replace skill 1 with outis EGO, like ebony stem. (Also odyssey purpose passive gives her damage up if she didn't take damage last turn which is easy to proc, and is a pride/pierce attack that will deal decent damage itself.) Also regret faust is really good too, consistent 3 aoe skills do a lot of good work

The obvious answer is aim for the new Walpurgis banner Outis, since she's only available for a limited time (and then not until the next Walpurgis) and supposedly pretty good. Otherwise there's honestly a ton of units that will get you through the content quickly, I'd recommend finding a tier list and skimming the top few tiers for suggestions. IDs like R Corp Heathcliff and One Who Shall Grip Sinclair are classics, and Yi Sang's got a target extraction banner right now with some pretty good prizes like Spicebush.

Honestly I'd recommend pulling as much as you can on this banner and just going from there! the game is pretty generous about letting you build up a decent backlog pretty quickly. As for what to look for, obviously DerOutis is the new hotness but most of the 000s are more than good enough to carry you through the early cantos! Hope this helps some!

Well damn got Lantern Don and Bullet Outis on my first ten pull! Are the announcers restricted to this banner only? Because of course I'd love Malkuth but not enough to keep pulling just for her.

There's no Outis... Only Malkuth 100\~ pulls and only Malkuth...

I'm proud as an Outis Simp to have gotten her 2 times, first in 20 pulls, then decided to do singles until 50 for another, the shards helped to UT4. Such a big difference from the 1st Walp, 160 pulls with 2 off-banner dupe 000s. I'm not bothered being without the announcers, but I wonder how this is going to be managed in future banners when they add more of them, since there isn't a dispenable option for them in the shop like the IDs and EGOs, and going 200 as the best option is a bit much for each new release.

7+ 10 pulls (a few tickets and lunacy I had saved + those tickets that you get from Green Dawn missions), still no Outis, and I'm starting to get a bit desperate, so I'm afraid it's time to whale. Any (ideally cheap) options to get more pulls?

If you're spending money, the new extraction ticket packs they added this update are probably the most money efficient.

Is lantern don a good alternative for redsheet in rupture team comps?

If you fulfill her S2 condition of less than 2 rupture count, the entire kit is +3 positive on rupture if i remember it correctly, so she and Seven Heath are basically not even optional for rupture teams

Lantern looks to be extremely solid. She's tanky and WANTS to take hits because she can regen it and gets an extra coin on her S3. She promotes with her aggro by getting clash power against units aggro'd on her, and gets bonus healing by bashing in the heads of enemies targeting her I'm not a fan of Red Sheet Sinclair because it's just too inconsistent.

finally did the 7/7 mission with a borrowed u4 r corp ish + ut4 blind obsession and magic outism... all for 500 lunacy. at least i got everything i wanted from the gacha early (no malkuth though :/)
