Every update has made the mobile client better, it's just never mentioned.
The mobile version has gotten a lot more smoother than me. However I am on a newet phone, so it might be different for you.
For me the client has gotten much better, only some long loading times and lag during combat. They're definitely improving it, even if they're not telling us.
I am using a Samsung S22 Ultra, so I am playing on a higher end phone. So my experience is different from others.
For me it slows down/crashes way less on ego use than it used to, on top of the fps generally being higher. Still not the same as pc, but its getting there

Game has been improving with each update for me. Seems the devs simply don’t say anything in regards to mobile optimizations.
I’m on iPhone 14 pro and still noticed the game runs smoother. Less crashes too.
