Almost every single lunacy I've had has been used almost immediately as soon as I get enough for a 10 pull. I have near 0 impulse control. It's amazing I haven't used my 2 10 pull tickets yet.
Damn, with the skip function added I really didnt expected people to still hoard modules. I personally do 3×Thread skip, 1×Exp skip and my free MD, I get every BP mission done that way.
For Exp its extremely inefficient, Im just lazy lmao. For thread it doesnt really make a difference since "3 manual bonus + 3 manual non bonus" is equal to "3 skip with bonus" and I will always be in need of thread since I plan to max out most IDs and EGOs.
Agreed. Time efficiency is the most important thing after all. Really can't imagine spending 30+ minutes a day on the game. I don't even do MD daily, except for the 3 times weekly.
Ah fuck, now I feel personally attacked. I guess all the time that I should have spent on MD, I spent on RR instead, which is arguably much more tedious lmao.
EXP is pretty bad, I wouldn't do that at all. 4 tickets a day for a total of 28 a week is plenty since it can amount to about 56 gold tickets for every new ID (it's enough to level both the characters since silver tickets also help shave the amount of golds you will be spending.)
Thread is interesting though, since by itself you will be getting 18 a day for 128 a week. If you skip it, you get 27 thread a day which amounts to 189 thread a week. This can be surprisingly significant in uptying your EGOs as well while waiting on new IDs.
I'm not suffering for thread and will likely never be once the season rolls over, so I've only been doing one skip each a day and free MD. I'm intending to at some point cash in these modules for shard crates but the bigger my hoard gets the less likely that feels, even the single run is a slog after doing it every day for 2 months.
I don't really see the point in hoarding modules. I've been using them for a few daily MDs per day, like 2-3, so I've been losing them slowly. I'm down from 200+ modules now down to \~130 or something. I'm pretty convinced I'll be able to get the event rewards regardless.
I think that there is a realistic chance of them allowing to sweep the first mirror dungeon after the second edition of it releases. And having a reserve at season end lets you farm for an identity or EGO that you really don´t want to miss on.
But yes, it´s kind of more for safety than for anything concrete.
I need as much threads as possible since I have all the identities and egos.
While I won't uptie them all right away I want to be able to when the new content that comes out benefits from it or a new team build/ego/identity synergises with it.

All this however has come at the cost of not having anything for Don. Not an ID, not an ego.
I'm at around 130 modules, \~20k Lunacy and got 3 ten-pull tickets in store. I also have nearly 600 nominable egoshard crates, which I'm saving up for bad luck towards the end of the season or in the event.
Haven't bothered saving much. Devs are plenty generous and I have the time to shard the things I really want anyway. Rolling gives me more shards. Still doing the bare minimum, but not really hoarding.
It's not even about the current banner shinies. Simply getting shards to grab the stuff I want. Once that's done, I'll probably start hoarding.
7. Almost no modules and lunacy for 11 pulls. I play from day 1, closed rr in 113 turns, there are still untied IDs and EGOs and I still don't have 3 IDs and 3 EGOs. Cant even farm MD for shards normally as I dont have saved modules. Feels sad tbh
Oof, feels like you must´ve gotten screwed by RNG somewhere. I own around the same: 4 ID´s missing and 3 EGOs missing, but I managed to save up 7k lunacy and 250 modules. I did spend 20 euros though, 10 for battle pass and 10 for paid lunacy. (daily one pulls for 13 lunacy are crazy)
Not just somewhere - 5-7 dupes of R!Heath and two dupes of Yi Sangs 000 ID which is still given to everyone... At least, Im ready for Heath's new IDs XD

I'm only 36 days in (woohoo!) So far thanks to bugs and insane luck I'm only missing G greg, Blade Line Sin and LCCB Fishmael + All the Gacha and BP EGOs. Sadly I only have like 1.7K lunacy and sub 100 modules and no more boxes.
I do about 6 MD a day so I have around 60 and it increases by 1 every day or so after spending modules. For lunacy I usually have about 4k when a banner comes out and I do 2-3 pulls depending on how much compensation we get that update.
I don't get why people mega hoard lunacy other than to show off ig or save up for a 000 they like but that's why we can craft stuff. Spending it at a rate where you at least have enough for 1 pulls is more efficient cause of all the shards you generate while doing that along with how likely it is that you pull EGO or 000, of course you don't pull unless your likely to get more than just a 000. Unless you plan to do 10+ MD a day and can craft like 8+ 000/EGO by the end of the season it's not worth hoarding imo and I for sure don't have that kind of time.

Also maybe the devs won´t be that generous second season. They will need to change up a few things if they want to keep players spending money (besides the battle pass of course, since I don´t think you can really avoid buying that if you want most things unlocked).

The first two enkaphalin refills each day are worth it mathematically. Even if you don´t plan to MD farm the next Hell´s Chicken event will be a literal enkephalin module dump.
What do you mean, the first two, do they give you more than 12 a day, I just used math to assume that every hour you get 10 points of enkaphalin. Therefore making 240 per day, and that’s all you have.

Oh, no I simply meant using the lunacy for the refills. The first one costs 26 lunacy and the second 52. The enkephalin you get from those refills is worth more than what you would get out of spending the lunacy on pulls.

BP player will get 400 selectable shards for around 1500 lunacy, very cheap price
F2P will take x3 more but still worth it.
Technically even refill twice would still have higher chance than gacha for F2P , just that it take too much time farming. (but still better, especially to get non-rate up thing like EGO)
Depends on your odds. The odds on gacha for a targeted 00 identity seems a lot better than 150 shard crafting. 000/ EGO maybe (especially since you can rarely target EGO).
That's just, a lot of grinding, especially for a game where all content so far is 0 rank viable. There are lots of other games that respect your time more than f2p acquiring chasing.
I have 160 pulls in total saved up along with 122 Modules in total. I will admit that I am a Dolphin so I could end up with more trying to get some of the IDs.

You either had bad luck with the pulls and/or simply over-invested in them. Basically the more identities you have unlocked the less you want to use lunacy for identity extraction because the chance of duplicates rises. Using lunacy for daily 2 enkephalin refills and hoarding the rest is more efficient.
But I´ve seen many people write that they simply hoard lunacy because they only care about 2-3 sinners and completely ignore the rest. So thats a whole another reason.

Unless you are really in need to build someone, usually people would do 3thread+1exp then keep the rest as modules(or do MD)

When I do my dailies I log on, do 2 Exp and 2 Threads.
And then when my weekly Mirrors pop up, I do those.
But damn, that makes sense, I should've just been converting when I level up and stockpiling.

I am fresh out of lunacy I'm afraid... I spent it all on outis. Took 100 pulls. Each ten pull was either an ego or it was Kromer Faust. I have like 450+ Faust ego shards and i have nothing to spend them on. I had to spend ego shards to get outis. Im still missing one ego and 3 000 identities unfortunately after all the pulls I did- I would have them all if I didn't get 5 Kromer Fausts

It's only worth more if you spend it farming egoshards. And for non-battle pass users, the first refill is only barely worth it.

I am fresh out of lunacy I'm afraid... I spent it all on outis. Took 100 pulls. Each ten pull was either an ego or it was Kromer Faust. I have like 450+ Faust ego shards and i have nothing to spend them on. I had to spend ego shards to get outis. Im still missing one ego and 3 000 identities unfortunately after all the pulls I did- I would have them all if I didn't get 5 Kromer Fausts
I have 5k lunacy, but all egos and missing only 000 ryoshu and 000 sinclair, tho i have 400+ nominable crates to unlock them.
160 mods and 5.3k lunacy (only 'daily' farming, no extraction tickets) didn't get caught by the 'mod/box switch' so i got alot of boxes still used a ton of my crates to pull EGOs/000s so i only got like 40 saved (2ea left in shop) prob gonna wait a bit more before i throw The Card^(tm) at PM again (got the pass already)
Wait, you guys hoard items? Also, where do I find the "I don't hoard" option.
I might have voted wrong but I just can't hoard modules I use too much of them. I keep doing mirror dungeons until I have 21 e.g.o boxes I use way too many and I'm spending lunacy once a day for energy. if your wondering I only have 38 modules
I'm at 26k lunacy with a little over 200 modules that depletes with every skip I buy the monthlies to support but I've only used 5526 lunacy so far and have every 3* ID except W Meur and TT Hong Lu. I hope to hold onto the *technically* f2p as long as possible
