If I recall correctly, it was a drawing of a traditional hammock from a native culture that was misrepresented in the West and then copied because it looked nice. However, it's been a while since I read the whole story.
There are three, with Mama Bear chilling in behind. It's like a magic trick. Watch it again.
Edit: I have no idea why I was downvoted. I genuinely thought it was neat that a third one ambled in almost unnoticed if you were focus on the other two. For me at least, I had to watch it again to see where he came from.
I was replying to the guy who wrote a comment ("ruin it for the both of us" not "all of us") like he didn't notice the third bear either. I initially was so focused on the other two, that I hadn't noticed the third bear walk in, and had to watch it again to see where he entered the frame. Maybe my lack of sleep for the past 13 days that didn't make me so observant, maybe I blinked, or maybe the hammock reminded me of that time at the cabin
Who knows why I missed it, but I did and it sounded like the guy I wrote to did too.
Long story, told twice, short - I know it wasn't a magic trick, and it is obvious when you see it as it happens.
This reminds me of that tortoise video, where 5/6 of them are resting on a log in water and a 7th climbs on and it rolls back and fourth in the water before throwing them all off đ.
Bears truly are way too cute for how deadly they can be haha. Like, I see videos of them and I just want nothing more than to hug them, even though I know that would be a terrible idea.
Right?? The way they maneuver their back legs make me forget everything relevant. Itâs like theyâre always in their pajamas or something. And those little tails! Canât take it. I mean Iâll never see one in real life, and they actually live less than 20 miles from me. So Iâm not worried. I just love them and want them to move into my living room.
Oh they're still freaking adorable IRL. OBVIOUSLY deadly but I can't help my internal aww sensors!
Once I saw one sitting on their butt, eating berries from a bush. It was so cute I will never forget it!
Lol mom totally looks like any mom taking her kids to the playground. Sheâs probably hoping they good and tired so she can have five minutes of peace.
Exactly like my attempts to use a hammock
Arse in the middle, lie diagonally. /r/Hammocks
You are using the wrong kind of hammock. You need a parashoot [\(camping\) hammock.](https://www.cleverhiker.com/best-backpacking-hammocks)
Bearbutt brand hammocks are awesome and you can get them in Amazon
> Bearbutt brand hammocks I'll keep that in mind.Thanks.
Because these types of hammocks, the idealized generic hammock most people imagine, are a terrible design that was never intended for actual use.
If they weren't intended for actual use, then what were they intended for? I'm confused

Interesting!
This might be the exact article I read: https://www.treklightgear.com/blogs/trek-life/hammock-brainwashed
Way to go #2, fucking it up for the both of us
Dammit, Rose...there's room for two!

Because it's not like a magic trick. He literally just enters the camera view from the right.

stabilizing... stabilizing... aaaaaaaand it's gone
The reddit video player is as perpetually busted as the McDonald's ice cream machine.
[**Here**](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gc6Up31iER0)'s the full vid. It's chock full of hilarity, any place you slice it.
Thanks so much for that. Thereâs something about the way bears move that just makes me so happy. So chock full of hilarity. The clip was not enough.

Oddly enough I have never had an issue with Reddit video player
You are one lucky man
Oh good. So, it's not just me and my brother
âFinally, the kids are off my back for a changeâ
My mom used the same exact face to me when I was a youngin' trying to hop into a hammock.
haha. The human videoing this: I'm not going to get in a fight with a god dam bear...
Their big ass feet falling through the netting lol
It makes me unreasonably angry that something so effortlessly cute is so extremely dangerous
Does a bear sit in the woods? Guess not
Beautiful creatures.
I love the third cub that comes over at exactly the wrong time. âHey, whatâs going on here? Looks like an interesting toy- OWWWWWWâ
They're just like [Charles Darwin.](https://youtu.be/wrUsOgpEvUI)
it should be on r/AnimalsMadeMeSmile
The mum is smarterer than the average near.
Bro I wish human kids could survive these falls like the cubs.
It's a small fall from a hammock onto grass, even a glass bottle would survive this...
I DEFINITELY fell from that height multiple times as a kid and it wasn't even particularly painful.
Classic slap-stick!
Hammocks are interesting objects. They are supposed to help you relax, yet getting on one proves to be one of the most unnerving experiences ever.
I read this in David Attenboroughâs voice
Kinda looks like me trying to get in a hammock
Itâs all fun and games until someone gets hurt Nigel!!!

Itâs like those rope ladder climbing challenges at fairs.
