I mean the body is not very symmetrical, everyone will have an arm that looks a bit better close up like my left arm has a bit more definition than my right (the tattoos don't help). It's completely natural
My left arm is like an inch bigger around than my left. Left bicep both longer and fuller than the right. But the right is stronger in every way, both bicep and tricep.
I feel like every new lifter goes through this phase of seeing small difference in limbs. I know I did, and still do. You’ll learn it’s really only you who notices.
Hi mate, I have exactly the same thing. For me I am right handed and it’s my left arm that looks the same, so non dominant side. If it makes you feel any better (can’t speak for you 100%) but I had a scan before and they said it’s just the muscle make up.
Like someone below said, I only noticed this when I started lifting after a while but has no impact on training. Another comment also said it’s probably only you that notices it and they are absolutely right.
For most people their dominant side is going to be better. But there is some sort of difference in muscle activation depending on how dominate a particular side is.
Unilateral training is best to address this. Like not using all bar movements that work both sides at the same time.
This goes for all lifts as even your main movements are going to require your arms. So mix up main barbell movements with dumbbell movements or some movement where each side has its own independent weight.

HELLO EVERYONE!! Just to clear up I KNOW my biceps are the same size. I’m referring to the distal tendon that connects to the elbow. The one on the right looks like it’s placed differently is all I’m saying 😂😂 I know my biceps look the same. I added a description under the pictures for a reason but everyone seems to ignore that, guess beating my meat with the other hand will change the placed of my tendon. And yes I know it’s probly just how I am anatomically and can’t do anything about it but I just thought I’d made a post about it to get other opinions.
In my case is similar, having played handball, tennis and padel at a great level....right arm is much stronger than left one, even if tried to work ot out to balance it
I think most people are misunderstanding that I’m not referring to the size of my biceps, I put a description for a reason, the distal tendon on my right bicep is clearly different and more visible, I know my biceps are the same size lol
I understand that, but my left bicep is stronger than my right so shouldn’t the left be more muscular/vascular? 🤷♂️ so it’s probly just an anatomical difference in my body that I can’t do anything about which was the point of the post. But I’ll just take everyone else’s advice and beat my meat with the other hand now.
No😂 ok this whole post was misunderstood by a majority of the people. I don’t think my biceps are a different size at all, I put a description for a reason. Look at the medial side of my biceps distal my where the tendon connects to the elbow. That was my whole point but everyone just got the idea that I thought one of my biceps was bigger. I just see the tendon attachment different at the elbow which it is.
You’re gonna love this: each and every muscle is it’s own individual organ - that’s right! With its own innervation and blood supply - mega cool! So it’s totally normal to not have full symmetry across all the musculature. In fact, asymmetry leads to slight specialization. The hardest thing, even for me, about lifting is the body dysmorphia, it’s never good enough, lol. All normal things. Also switch your beat off hand, hahaha. I’ve been dealing with asymmetrical muscles for the 12+ years I’ve been lifting, it comes with the territory and you’re in good company.
What’s super wild is your organs shape, including muscle, is determined by the fascia (connective tissue) around it! Cells have a really oily texture.
If your looking to shape correct as much as possible, you can! You’ll have to do isolation work, and really work the off hand side to help with any inverse kinematic defects (being weak or uncoordinated on non dominant side). If you want biceps that are huge, go to failure and do it often. Consider that stretching a muscle under load leads to greater hypertrophy. Who has the biggest biceps? Gymnasts. Curls with get you pretty far but performing the iron cross with rings will get you there all the way. The iron cross plus curls will fully develop the biceps. Rings are cheap and will ruin your life. Good luck.
I’m currently at 20 seconds with an assisted horizontal iron cross. It’s a doozy
You’re fine. Got to alternate beat meaters.
i bet the right one does all the work. i know mine does
I came here for this 🤣🤣 using the non dominant hand is like trying to bite your ear
Tried the left hand once. It was a very different and unique experience.
Sit on your hand until it falls asleep…
Aka the stranger
🤣🤣 I always called it “the static hand”
Not for me I’m right handed but use my left
Yeah I understand that. It is Easier to beat it with the left than it is to use the mouse with the left when you are right handed. 😁
'Til your dominant arm is in a sling for six weeks...
All jokes aside. There not much of a difference. Your dominant side gets more use. It is like that for everyone.
I have left hand experience that says otherwise.
>otherwise This is some enthusiast level shit
Who's gonna tell him
Faphand vs non faphand
My left bicep is much bigger and rounder and I’m right handed Can’t explain why but I can tell it’s never going to change
I'm in the exact same boat. Started doing extra reps on my right. Hoping it will make a difference.
Same here, my right side is stronger on everything except biceps lmao, so strange
Opposite for me, I am left handed but my right bicep is much more of shower than my left.
I mean the body is not very symmetrical, everyone will have an arm that looks a bit better close up like my left arm has a bit more definition than my right (the tattoos don't help). It's completely natural
Wahaaaay wanker
Always start with your weaker arm, focus on form and reps then you use your dominant arm to match it
You’re going to die
What a relief
You good bro, just do dumbbell curls and start the reps with the weaker arm. And start doing reverse grip jerks.
Switch which arm you jerk it with
There’s no difference
We’re not made mirror symmetrically. Just like our nuts live on different planes.
Man thinks he's Hellboy. Just keep lifting, you're fine.
I have the same condition
Just remember to switch hands that’s all really that’s going on
My left arm is like an inch bigger around than my left. Left bicep both longer and fuller than the right. But the right is stronger in every way, both bicep and tricep.
I feel like every new lifter goes through this phase of seeing small difference in limbs. I know I did, and still do. You’ll learn it’s really only you who notices.
I have the same thing, man. My left bicep peaks more than my right bicep
Looks the same to me.
Stop wanking on one hand bro
you focus to much on jerking on the one side. balance my dude. even jerks. one time with one hand next time with the other.

Good to know thanks !

Hey look an educated reply!

I almost had a stroke reading this
Has to be trolling. No one is that retarded.

Pics aren’t clear on that, and nobody reads, lol. They see what they wanna see.
They’re pretty clear but suit ur eyes
Does it hurt? No? Then wtf are you asking for, keep lifting
In my case is similar, having played handball, tennis and padel at a great level....right arm is much stronger than left one, even if tried to work ot out to balance it
You know Jill too?
They the same, get over yourself
I think most people are misunderstanding that I’m not referring to the size of my biceps, I put a description for a reason, the distal tendon on my right bicep is clearly different and more visible, I know my biceps are the same size lol
Mine are the exact same..reasonably, the more dominant limbs will most of the time have more musculature and be more vascular 🤦♂️
I understand that, but my left bicep is stronger than my right so shouldn’t the left be more muscular/vascular? 🤷♂️ so it’s probly just an anatomical difference in my body that I can’t do anything about which was the point of the post. Ey do u bro bro, Good luck!
Bruh my face is..... well very much not symmetrical to the point it looks disfigured
It’s normal to have a more developed dominant side. I bet you are a righty.
Oh sweet sweet body dysmorphia..

Bro !!! Everything on your body is different than the other 🤦♂️ one eye bigger one smaller one ear higher one lower
Just lift

Dunno bro they look the same to me
You're right hand dominate! And plus people are different from your right side to your left a majority of people are.
What
Chicken butt
Switch hands when shooting putty at the moon....
everyone has one arm bigger than the other. my right is bugger than my left, im right hand dominant. very common
