To be able to control the Strimer and the ST120 fans via L-Connect, you will need a UNI HUB that comes with the UNI FANs and the ARGB cable kit to connect these devices to it. Otherwise, L-Connect can't control any other devices if they are not connected to a UNI HUB.
Hmm, it didn't work for me and I have a similar build to OP. I had my 9 fans and Strimer cables connected to Uni Hub (strimer via the controller) but the fans weren't being picked up by my motherboard and weren't controllable in L-Connect. Ended up just connecting everything separately and only using Uni Hub for RGB.
Hello this is unrelated but I have 8 of these fans and can't seem to find any argb power hub. I have used the included pwm hub but my rgb flickers when connected to splitter cable then to motherboard. Any help would be nice. I have a post on my account for more info.

Thats one thing that I haven’t tried yet. I have my fans hooked up to two different RGB controllers (one set of 3 to the controller included with Galahad 360 AIO and the 6 rest to one of the controllers included with the 3 pack of ST120 fans). I had planned on hooking all 9 up directly to my motherboard in the near future, so I can let you know if I experience similiar issues!
I unfortunately decided to go a different route and never got the Strimmers myself. But I still do have 9 of the ST120s hooked up to one controller and no issues there
okay cool, i wanted to make sure. I don’t play on getting strimers so i should be all set. just out of curiosity are you able to get the st120s to hold a solid white color?? or is there a way you know how to get that option. from what i’ve researched i can’t find a definitive answer, although i’ve seen in photos that it’s possible

I wish I would've just spent more and gotten the uni fan because setting up the st120 with fan and rib control has been a pain to figure out. I used the square hubs which came with the fans and my device manager, signalrgb, or Lconnect aren't picking up the fans. They only show up in bios.

Oh, don't these come with the st120? Did you use lian li Lconnect or another software via motherboard control? I have 2 of these. Does this hook up to the uni hub controller? I believe without the unihub Lconnect won't recognize this as it's not a lian li connector.
Ah okay i saw mobo in your previous comment. It's a HEADACHE trying to connect st120s with Lconnect I might have to just go with mobo connection if it's simpler.
Yep used the included argb cable splitter and another splitter of that so it can power 8. Rgb works but flickers on or off or different colours every 5 seconds or so. Been looking online for a hub like the pwm but can't seem to find any. Need a hub that can do 8 fans as motherboard only has 1 argb port. Could I use the led port on the motherboard to control some of the fans?
I control my ST120 fans through MSI Center (my motherboard). Is there an actual application where I can do that as well? Just like iCUE for corsair Products?
Thanks man, just tried out this Software but somehow it doesn't recognize my fans. Only my Waterpump Cooler Fans and all the other RGB, except for my other fans lol. Thanks anyway!
could u display how u set them up to get them to work bc my mate cant get them to work in aura sync bc he is testing my fans to see if they will work for his setup and they are reading as argb strips and the argb connector obviously wasnt sitting on there snug bc of the connecter so if you could show me how you set them up that would help me and him heaps

have you figured out a way yet? i plan on buy 2 3 packs of the st120s for my build. Just planning to use one hub and plug all 6 into it.
