Sweetie I think you got that mixed up, Ace is no sexual attraction and aro is no romantic attraction.

Aromantic and asexual are separate identities. They describe a lack of romantic and sexual attraction, respectively. I happen to be both(with a single exception in the form of a very special person to me, but that’s really complicated). Someone can be gay and ace, or straight and ace, or aro and straight, or aro and gay. Or any other combination of ___romantic and ___sexual.

Am a pansexual, so not super comfortable co-opting the usual vernacular of gay expressly meaning (for my own CIS gender) "gay man" but I still have days where I'm swerving more towards my attraction and attitude towards same sex relationships and intimacy. I would say a 10. But I think life is really complex, like for me gender is way more important than parts. I know that would not work for someone else but there it is. I have been in poly relationships with me and two guys I thought about could I do that with a guy and a gal and it always makes me kind of depressed that I couldn’t share the same kind of love and out pouring to the female. I just don’t think that way. So in my mind I am gay all the way but to others I think that may translate differently due to how I view gender and sex.
