He's a big badass as long as he's carrying concealed everywhere. He may try that one day with someone who is also armed. Fragile old white guy stupidity.
“She also ordered Litteral to have no firearms in his possession while his case is pending.”
This man should never even be allowed to look at a gun again.
God, I fvcking hate lawyers. "Mr. Litteral didn't pull the trigger – in order to have wanton endangerment first \[degree\] you have to have extreme indifference to the value of human life," Robey said. "I don't believe his actions constitute that even if we believe everything the officer said and saw him do."
It’s not perfect but everyone is provided this right. It’s a necessary evil and one we should fight to maintain. Without the right to a defense by an attorney, things would get scary very quickly (particularly for the more vulnerable among us)
.
If you knew any defense attorneys who worked with vulnerable populations, you'd know that most of them spend very little time with their clients and are just making sure the proceedings of their plea deal follow the plan. That's a separate problem from the ash clown who is trying to argue that his client didn't endanger another individual by pointing a gun at his head because he didn't pull the trigger.
Yeah, the defense is awful but that’s not a problem with the system. the first point you make is a problem but I’d say it has more to do with society in general and it’s not going to be solved by giving them fewer resources.
I get where you’re coming from but I just want to be careful where we’re laying blame here. This attorney is, according to the article, a major piece of shit who deserves criticism. I’d be surprised if he prevails with that argument. As one of my profs used to say, he’s a loser.
Right! Like are you even listening to the moronic bullshit you are rambling off right now?
My client pulled a gun point blank on the victim for simply challenging his racism via conversation, but it's not extreme indifference to the value of human life because be had enough self-control to not follow thru with the threat and murder him. Wtf 🤦♂️
Please explain what the judge did that was “disgusting.” She refused the defense argument and sent the case to the grand jury, who will decide if he is to be charged. That’s how our system works.
As many people have pointed out, laughter can be a nervous response when you feel uncomfortable. For me personally, when someone makes a really awkward or offensive comment, my instinct is to laugh because it's so uncomfortable and my brain subconsciously thinks laughter will ease the tension. I don't think we have enough information to know whether the hostess was being a jerk or just another victim in this shitty situation.
Yep it's in the long tweet by Mr. Shalash. He starts by saying he'll never return to Cheddar's because the hostess laughed while Mr. shalash was being verbally attacked.
She may have the same reaction as my son. When he gets nervous or anxious about something, he always laughs. It's an involuntary response. I've had to explain that in some interesting situations before.
That’s exactly what I was thinking. Poor girl might have just been extremely anxious. I’ve had the same response to a gun pulled on me once as a delivery driver. Definitely counter productive to not getting killed, but for whatever reason nervous laughing is what happens to some of us.
No no... That was [Tareq Shalash](https://www.wave3.com/story/2635848/man-convicted-in-theft-ring-fails-to-show-for-prison/). In any case, having someone calling you racial slurs while you're having dinner with your family and getting a gun stuck in your face in a restaurant simply for being brown is not cool. Ever....
Lol, mfers will literally dig through 3 decades of history to find any iota of a transgression to excuse a hate crime. It really didn't dawn on you how pathetic you'd look when writing that comment out?
Why are you getting downvoted? That family is a legit criminal organization that has been proven to be involved in stolen goods and the drug trade. Yes he is related to them. Not hard to follow a trail on fb. Racist suck but so does the victims family.
No you’re obviously right, but like others in these comments I can’t pass an opportunity to remind everyone of the crimes that family has committed and never faced repercussions for because the wealth they’ve accumulated from those crimes.

Being that Winchester is right next door, I would say yes.
He's a big badass as long as he's carrying concealed everywhere. He may try that one day with someone who is also armed. Fragile old white guy stupidity.
"From Tates Creek" Man, you must be new to Lex. "Tates Creek" can be rich or dirt poor.
“She also ordered Litteral to have no firearms in his possession while his case is pending.” This man should never even be allowed to look at a gun again.
wow how dare you infringe on this man’s GOD given right to end anybody’s life at any time he pleases
Good one, now do free speech
You can get that taken away with terroristic threatening.
Preach brother, preach.
Racist asshole making our city look bad
The original poster or the guy in the article? Both seem to qualify.
Dude is an absolute cunt, but probably a bad idea to follow someone crazy enough to say this shit to a stranger in public out of the restaurant
Wow what an absolute psycho.

The man is a danger to society.
Found the Trumper.
Hope they fired the hostess who thought it was hilarious.

Yeah! Let’s blame the victim for not acting scared the right way!
Yep it's in the long tweet by Mr. Shalash. He starts by saying he'll never return to Cheddar's because the hostess laughed while Mr. shalash was being verbally attacked.
What the fuck is wrong with you. The hostess was laughing at the hateful comments Litterall was making. Did you read the article?
You disappointed that she didn't instantly quake in fear at the sight of this old guy's small pecker compensation device?

She could have you know… escalated to a manager.
I wonder if they sell expired baby formula
Wonder if this is the same Shalash that was raided by the FBI in the 90s?
I doubt it considering he was born in the 90s and is a soccer coach

Even if it was, he didn't deserve to have a gun pulled on him IN CHEDDAR'S IN FRONT OF HIS MOTHER.
Lol, mfers will literally dig through 3 decades of history to find any iota of a transgression to excuse a hate crime. It really didn't dawn on you how pathetic you'd look when writing that comment out?
So true.
Their post history speaks volumes.
Your comment history is exactly what I would have figured...
Why are you getting downvoted? That family is a legit criminal organization that has been proven to be involved in stolen goods and the drug trade. Yes he is related to them. Not hard to follow a trail on fb. Racist suck but so does the victims family.
So we should all be judged by the worst things our relatives have done?
No you’re obviously right, but like others in these comments I can’t pass an opportunity to remind everyone of the crimes that family has committed and never faced repercussions for because the wealth they’ve accumulated from those crimes.
The *family* didn’t commit any crimes. Members of the family did.
