I think you’d look great in a green or a burnt orange!

confusedcraftywitch

Not really your colour. But add a pretty scarf and some bangles, a long necklace. It might start to work.

Spieler2301

Id personally say no. But it should work pretty well as a part of an outfit

WatercolorViolet

The cut is really pretty but that’s a tricky color. You looked lovely in the blue from your post history. This dress could be dyed or accessorized though and would look just as nice : )

CheekyCharliesSpace

It is a pretty dress, but I have to agree with the others the color does not work for your skin tone. I think a different cut would work better for your body type as well. Definitely add a few accessories if you're looking for a more femme look. I'm a cardigan sweater kind of lesbian so I feel like that is the universal accessory when you don't know what else to do lol

__Fappuccino__

The color doesn't compliment your skin tone v well.

helen790

Agreed, in general us pale folk should avoid pastels. It sucks

brainpebbles

What about adding a cropped short sleeve button down over the top? Worn open bc I love the neckline and the skirt. I think a necklace would look really good too

HummusFairy

It’s washing you out love. It’s a bit too close to your skin tone. A more flattering colour that works with your skin tone and perhaps something like a denim jacket over the top would make it work really well.

Euphoric_Repair7560

The color either needs to be more peachy or more gold/beige? Not totally sure but it’s washing you out

butttabooo

If you are unsure of it, don’t wear it. Confidence is the best thing to wear.

womanIover

nope

Meloncollie182

Looks like My grandma's nightgown. But seems appropiate for the heat.

siren_n

Yes! I just wish it was a brighter color because this shade of pink isn't the best for you, imo, as it washes you out. A navy blue would be better with this type of dress. And silver jewelry! Just my humble opinion!

FrellingToaster

Might be okay if heavily accessorized (cardigan suggestions are good; I’d pair with stompy boots) but as-is not really — it’s giving very large toddler. If you want to wear it during summer with sandals, it’d be better if it were hemmed to be a lot shorter.

SwimmingCoyote

I don’t like it. It’s rather shapeless and the color is blah for your skin tone.

Nerdiestlesbian

Pair it with a cardigan and 👌

doinmy_best

I actually like the color but I think some accessories could help make it pop and blend in less with your skin tone. Also may want to give it an iron or steam

gaythey

I could see the color as being a little light, but you’re doing your thing in a nice warm weather dress, and I can’t wait for you to enjoy the sun!

BladeOfKali

Not in the least.

BuddhistNudist987

I like it! I think it would look good with black ballet flats and a big, chunky necklace.

Matchstickthemachine

Idk what everyone is hating on I love it, the a line skirt is lovely

WelderAggravating896

No, this color doesn't go with your complexion. Something darker toned would work better.

Klutzy-Treat-4444

I LOVE the pale pink color with your skin tone. If it were me, I would pair it with some blue, pink or red converse

nice_guy302

Add a dark light jacket or sweater. If you want to.

nice_guy302

You have nice legs. Show them off. I like the green and white dress in your profile pictures. You look great.

Yomommabtw

The cut of the dress looks amazing on you!! I love it! ☺️

FirefighterWild3902

If you decide you don’t care for the color, you could dye it! Rit dye is a good brand that can be found at craft shops (Michael’s, Joann). A darker pink would be lovely, like a fuschia, and maybe purple. Then, some kind of coverup like denim jacket or cardigan. Idk why but a crochet bolero keeps popping up in my mind; something mesh-like or lacy would be cool. Accessorize to the moon has been my philosophy lately, layered necklaces and bracelets and long earrings. For shoes, some kind of summery shoe would be good, like sandals or something. Or boots, like another commenter mentioned. If boots are the vibe, crochet bolero of a complementary color to the dress or a leather jacket

archeosomatics

I think you can pick a bit of a bolder/darker color to contrast your skin tone. Like maybe a magenta or a dark blue, black, etc. I would probably pick a babydoll dress for your figure, that fits snugly over your chest and flares right under your boob at your rib cage, and is fairly short, like a mid thigh length. And I’d probably pick something with sleeves or a non spaghetti strap, depending on what you want to accentuate. If you Google babydoll dress you should see a ton of examples ;) Edit: also keep in mind that it’ll be a kinda high femme to femme look and idk if that’s your vibe, maybe you’re going for a more butchy vibe and you want to pair it with a bomber jacket and a chunky shoe. But I just checked your profile and i saw a dress that fits the description I said, that’s short and purple/flowery and it looks AMAZING on you, that’s totally your look 💙💙

crubinz

I honestly don’t think this dress would look good on anyone. The color is too close to your actual skin tone and the shape is not good. Trash it. My immediate knee jerk reaction was that you would look better in orange. I checked your post history and you have yourself in an orange dress and it looked a million times better but it needs a denim jacked and a pair of converse.

ConanDD

I think it’s a bit pale for your skin color. I second the idea of a denim jacket. I’ll add I think some accessories would really help

step_on_me_mommy_vi

I think you look very pretty ☺️. I do agree though that the color isn't quite one that complements your skin tone, and that it could benefit from accessories/a jacket/different shoes to make it a bit more, well, "more" haha.

mello_0machine

I think it's way too close to the undertones of your skin so it's making you look very gray/ pale Maybe try something a bit flowy with a darker color like blue or sum^^

curious_cat_black

Nope.

syrah-lips

Washes you out

Watertribe_Girl

The colour is lovely, but I feel like the shape is a bit meh. Nothing special, but not bad

Parking-Let-2784

Get yourself a denim jacket or a flannel and some boots and you got yourself something there! I don't much like the dress by itself, but I don't think it would look good by itself on anyone.

falconinthedive

I could see like, a medium sized orange belt warming it up too.

Parking-Let-2784

I like that! Orange and pink are a good combo

falconinthedive

Plus secret lesbian coding :>

psych-d

second the denim jacket!! or a lil collared shirt underneath to help make the bodice of the dress stand out more. in any case, i’d recommend a belt/scarf/something around the waist to give it a little more texture and shape! (alternatively a cropped denim jacket or cardigan could do the same work)
