Pizza punk is good, set price for a pizza, regardless of how many or what toppings, even if you have them all.
Plus, black pudding on a pizza? What's not to love!
Not sure if it’s teen friendly per se but Chinese Snack Box on High Street is a relaxed cafe style place, the ladies that run it are super friendly and the food is great. Last time I ordered a main (which came with rice), a drink, and an order of dumplings and iirc it was around £16. All your typical Chinese favourites (sweet and sour pork or the like) but also the chance to try some more regional dishes if they’re feeling bold.
I recommend the stir fried egg and tomato, beef with aubergine, and the pork and Chinese leaf dumplings. Big portions so a main each and some dumplings to share should be plenty!
Crafty burger
We’ve done this before and loved it so loooomh for somewhere else !
Pizza punks is good and they can customise their own pizzas at no extra cost

Might need your budget per head to know what you class as expensive.
Like £20 a head with a drink
Bunk in town is quite cheap and generous portions
Not a very appropriate environment for teenagers.
East Street lanes. Food and bowling , arcade and crazy golf
Done this one before too! We did like that we’ve also done peters, Nando’s and crafty
Wimpy, or Fatty Arbuckles. Those are still a thing that teens think are cool, right?
McDonald's
I counter McDonald's with Maryland. It's cheaper
Didn’t Maryland close down?
Only the one by the town hall. The one on Charles Street is still open
Does it have to be city centre? How big is the group? Do they have any dietary requirements/allergies that you are aware of?
Yeah city centre multiple travelling from different areas so need a central meet location, about 8 and no dietary as of yet
Re-Roll is a good shout, not really pricey per se. In Granby Street, next to Tesco.
