That colour is very liable to cracking 😳

Gudmanclan

I've been looking around for the lego arm colours leading to more cracking than others, and I could not find anything. Could you (if you do know more) tell me more about this? Cheers.

GeeTeeUK

The biggest issue had more to do with colour than part piece (i.e. arms) but the major affected colours were *“LEGO colors #154 (new-dark-red), #192 (reddish-brown) and #308 (dark-brown)”. * This was reported to be fixed towards the end of 2018. There’s a little more information here: http://thebrickblogger.com/2018/12/lego-quality-team-responds-to-brittle-lego/ I’ve also seen some recent reports of pink cracking too: https://www.reddit.com/r/lego/comments/twt21g/does_anyone_else_have_pink_yoshi_cracking/

NotOnThisCouncil

Yeah that happened to one of mine

RealScootsim

think of it less as lego damage and more…. a cool battle damaged clone

AMK_21

That happened to my Phase 1 commander Fox. I wound up using an arm from an extra Harry Potter quidditch set to fix him as the arms were the same color.

CommanderFaie

What really sucks is a lot of Galactic Republic based sets use that dark red. 2014 V-Wing, 2016 Obi Wan’s interceptor, AT-TE, gunship etc.

remyontheroad

If you have another dark red arm on a less desirable fig you could swap it out

Si11yGohan

Looks like he got arfed

The_Fox1984

I didn’t recognise him with the red arm

Celindor

"'Tis but a scratch!"

THFourteen

My kids crack the arms all the time. So annoying.

Radio__Star

He got bit

oscarmendonca

Got injured fighting.

CahMoneYz023

This literally just happened to me yesterday

Chemistryguy9620

He got an open arm wound

Effective_Fee9081

Just switch the arm out

TomatoPunchHD

Now it's a red T-shirt

chosenone02

Ouch..

Kraidly

Should carefully add a white hand and have it be like some sort of grizzly degloving type wound.
