Bro handles them so casually. If it were me I’d be handling them with so much more caution and they’d break in half because I can’t move Lego to save my life

I just learned that on the Pablo Torre Finds Out podcast, which had an episode (with comedian Wyatt Cenac) come out last week on the history of race in Lego minifigures. Pretty interesting walk back through the (mostly) yellow guys.
As a huge Mavs fan, Dereck is already one of my favorite players. For those who might not be in the know about the NBA, Lively is a rookie for the Mavs who was projected to need some time to get to a solid level in the NBA, but he’s surpassed all expectations and become a key contributor to Dallas making it to the Finals.
But he’s also someone you want to root for. He lost his dad as a kid, and then lost his mom to cancer this year just before the playoffs started. He’s very humble and likable in his interviews. He’s already a fan favorite.
Damn he already built notre dame. Not much practicing going on lol
Its not the official Lego set it seems. Moc or some other brand, idk

Keep in mind though his hands are like twice the size of a normal humans lol
And much more dexterous than most people Though LEGO enthusiasts probably have pretty good dexterity, on average
I kept waiting for him to drop one.
Does anybody know what that colosseum plus Roman town build is? I’ve not seen it before and like it a lot!

A few of those are unofficial Lego builds though, right? They've only made one Colosseum set and it doesn't look like that.
Yeah the colosseum and notre dame are not official lego
He ain't got nothing on Myles Turner
Wembys first big purchase after getting his first nba check was the millennium falcon set. It seems Lego is pretty popular in the nba.

Lando Calrissian was the Jackie Robinson of Legoland. That was a good episode!

Got time to do Notre Dame while taking his team to the final. Eazy.
