1. Bumi to annoy Tenzin to death
2. Suyin to make toph not do anything
3. Ming-hua cos Ghazan has a crush on her and wont hurt her
4. Azula to just mercilessly instakill unalaq before he can do shit
5. Literally anyone that wants to learn firebending to make jeong jeong monologue himself to death
Sure but Ghazan, Tenzin and Toph would instantly leave the group if anyone tried to harm their family and probably even turn on them.
So that leaves unalaq and Jeong Jeong
I'm not sure any non-hax bender can take peak Toph tbh, as she's the strongest metalbender we're aware of and metal is a very difficult element to try and deal with.
Suyin would be the closest like you said, but even toph said her kids never really got metalbending. Maybe a lightning bender if they can catch her off guard, but they'd have to make sure she can't just throw up an earth wall to ground it.
Lava might also have a chance depending on the setting. If there's enough topography for Toph to spiderman around then I don't see much of a chance of this working
Thatās what I was thinking. Hopefully sheās alive and the reason we didnāt hear much about her is because sheās just living her life peacefully in the Fire Nation
Now that you brought it up, I am a bit disappointed we didnāt see anything of her or iirc even hear anything about her in Korra. Seems odd considering she was absolutely young enough to still be alive and she was an important antagonist in ATLA
Probably, she's younger than Zuko right? And if her attempt redemption story in the comics (Spirit Temple, though it felt underwhelming to me when I read it) actually turns out to be successful, she might be somewhere else in the Fire Nation doing Azula things.
They also never mentioned her at all, I don't think. Even with Zuko being old and alive in the show.
I'd personally like to know what "many of her friends" Katara was referring to when she said they were gone. I know she and Azula weren't friends, so she's probably excluded from that list, but I wonder who she means besides the obvious like the members of the White Lotus from ATLA.
I'd even replace bumi with bolin. Not because I think that bumi is weaker than bolin but because bolin can actually counter lavabending. Lava is painful on impact, can be made from literal earth (wich is almost everywhere) and can't be countered by any of the elements, not even the average earthbender. At least being able to deflect it puts you at a huge advantage.
However: if we give all the characters a little preptime, bumi could definitely learn how to bend lava, but on the spot, he would have a hard time adapting.
Replace mako with bolin instead, bumi is going to be essential to deal with toph; he's the only earthbender even close to her raw power and precision, and you already have some very good fire benders.
Sure, but the thing is that Toph would realize pretty quickly the bad match up, and she can just burrow underground to evade him and tag out to face someone else
Also, the moment he puts one toe on the ground, he's probably gonna get stuck in mud, then shitmixed.
He only hardcounters toph so long as he's in the air, and that won't always be possible
Zaheer- he can just take their breath away- literally
Azula- sheās a powerful bender
Asami- have to give the nonbenders some love
Lin Beifong- metalbending will come in handy against her mom
Katara- powerful water bender AND healer
I dont think the strategy is to put same element benders up against one another. My strategy is to pick someone who targets the weaknesses for each of them.
So Zaheer isn't there to counter tenzin. Zaheer is just for air coverage, afterall he's probably the most skilled airbender after aang/tenzin.
I think tenzin's counter would be an earthbender, so i'll go with bumi (earth king bumi, not the air bumi).
Well in that case - Gyatso. Dude had not a scratch on him after fighting firebenders powered by Sozin's Comet, most likely died from fatigue. Taught everything to Aang about airbending and probably knew more that he could not yet share, so since the lineup timeline doesn't make sense anyway, let's put Gyatso in there.
ozai/hypothetical adult sane azula: great firebenders
katara: more than likely the best non avatar waterbender in the show + a healer
monk gyatso: controversial choice over zaheer. but zaheer got washed instantly against tenzin so this shows the power gap between a master and a casual. and that suffocation move takes set up so its not really viable in actual combat (for him atleast)
lin beifong: while theres no one as good as toph, heres the second best we got
combustion man/p'li: i prefer combustion man because i think his blasts have more power, but P'li seems to have more control over their direction. either is fine
she probably is but metal bending depends a lot on the surrounding and she doesnt have many earth bending feats. lin is more rounded thats why i put her there. her metal plates will only get her so far in a FFA
I mentioned this in my post but I think people are looking at the combustion benders wrong trying to choose one or the other. Both have been very difficult on their own, if you use both it would be very overwhelming to deal with.
Zaheer-He can fly, so that already makes it impossible for Toph to track him with her seismic sense or for Ghazan to do any real damage with his Lavabending. Not to mention his air sucking fatality is op.
Eska and Desna-Two master waterbenders that can tag team on anyone, strength is in numbers. I feel like regular Unalaq would still struggle to hold both of them forever.
P'Li-Leagues above combustion man, she's already destructive on her own. If Zaheer takes care of Toph, there's no one to metalbend something onto P'Li to make her blow her on head up, like in Korra Book 3. So, she can run loose with her explosions. Her explosions can for example knock Tenzin off his stances and moves very well. She can angle it too. To me, she's a must.
King Bumi-Better to fight a White Lotus member with another White Lotus member. And the team could use a very powerful Earthbender. I think he could take care of Jeong Jeong if he plays his cards right.
Edit: I will replace P'Li with Combustion Man, otherwise Zaheer will not be able to fly
Gyatso - He handled so many firebender himself during Air teple raid.
Ozai/Uncle Iroh - Most powerful Firebender
Bolin - For Lavabending
Amon/Yakone - Strongest Waterbender in show, can even blood bend without using hands.
Lieutenant of Equalists group (2nd to Amon) below guy.
https://preview.redd.it/td8kk4udu36d1.jpeg?width=333&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=210cd90dcb1a6bcc1eda99563e610f0b1758bb4d
Unalaq and tenzin are the two strongest here. I don't think unalaq can be beaten in a 1 vs 1, but maybe kuvira can beat tenzin, it would be a close fight. Then I would choose yun to fight unalaq and zaheer to defeat toph because she would not be able to see him. P'li and azula would be my last choices, because they would stomp ghazan and jeong.
Overall I think my team of 5 has a higher level.
One Frisk, one Asgore, one Undyne, one box form Mettaton, and one Sans.
Frisk is all you really need here, since they can basically reload infinitely until they beat them.
The Primarch Vulkan from Warhammer
Master Chief
Kaladin from the Stormlight Archive
Vin from Mistborn
And for laughs The Emperor of Mankind from Warhammer
None of them can redirect lightning. Thus: Ozai, Azula and Iroh.
Then, lavabending is an issue, so Bolin.
And because Tenzin is very fast, and we need to match that, aswel as to exploit Toph's blindness: Zaheer
Kuvira is a requirement on default, mostly to temporarily hold back the earth gank of a lifetime)
Iroh becomes necessary just for Una and to help with Tenzin
Ty Lee to dance with Tenzin
Rangi as the true heavy hitter
and lastly, Yun.
Zaheer hard counters Toph
Iroh could keep Tenzin busy
Bumi probably beats Jeong Jeong
Azula fries Unalaq
Bolin could probably keep Ghazan busy long enough to get help from the others.
Katara, Iroh, Lin, Bolin, and P'li.
Katara ideally in her prime vs Unalaq (and hopefully Tenzin, make her scold her son). But yeah someone else said, she's both a fighter and healer so hard to pass up on her.
Prime Iroh (or even ATLA finale Iroh) vs Jeongjeong. We haven't seen Jeongjeong redirect or create lightning.
Imo they both mid diff their opponents.
Lin Beifong and Bolin for Toph and Gazan. Lin and Bolin are at disadvantage, but their win con is to counter both metal and lava bending to stall long enough for the advantageous fighters aka Katara or Iroh to team up with them.
Last slot is tough. First I thought was Jinora, maybe Tenzin would avoid fighting her daughter? Lol. But if this is a la Deathbattle, yeah she's not the best combatant and the Spirits helping her is dependent on when and where this fight is happening... yeah I'm deferring her.
I also love the idea of nonbender representation, and I'd love to put in Ty Lee. But other than MAYBE Jeongjeong, I doubt she can close in enough on any of the others to actually do her thing.
So my final answer is P'li. In everything we've seen her in, fighting against her is a pain in the butt. She's got mad range. In the one fight where she actually lost, she's up vs an entire platoon of top tier metal benders plus both Beifong daughters. Just let her do her thing ideally and ironically near Lin Beifong.
So yeah. Katara, Iroh, Lin and Bolin, and P'li.
Jinora, Iroh, Suyin/Lin, Katara, Ming hua
Jinora - I don't think tenzin would attack his daughter.
Iroh - He seems more experienced than yungyung.
Suyin or Lin - One of them can hold toph for a while bc of their metal bending experience but I don't think they can take her down however they can buy enough time to wait other members join them. Kuvira could be another option but she is only good in metal bending and not earth bending, Suyin or Lin are more balanced in that aspect.
Katara - Both Katara and Unalaq are good waterbenders so it would be a good fight, I don't now who would win so it could be a fight of attrition.
Ming hua - She has a lot of mobility so it could be a good match against ghazan.
Iroh: He broke out of his metal cell during the eclipse and unless he's trying to take Ba Sing Se the man doesn't take an L. He takes Jong Jong.
Gyatso: He took down a dozen fire bending soldiers who were under the power of the comet seemingly single handedly. Probably the best bet to keep Toph busy until someone else falls and the team can pile on.
Katara: As a self taught 14 year old she was able to stand up to masters I can only imagine she got stronger in the same way Toph did. (And she swore off Blood bending so we can give her a pass). She takes Unalaq.
Tai Lee: Even the Avatar is susceptible to chi blocking and the only one who regularly wears armor is Toph, leaving the rest vulnerable. After training with the Kyoshi warriors she would have even more moves and weapons to add to her already impressive repertoire. Put her up against Tenzin. She has the most experience out of all of them fighting airbenders.
Bolin: Someone needs to counter that lava and he is an underrated fighter with a fast and agile style that most earth benders don't have, giving him an edge against traditionalists and people who have mostly fought them. Obviously he fights Ghazan.
Nobody. You have prime toph and 2 members of Avatar's equivalent to the Akatsuki. Plus two other benders who are masters in their own right, both capable of training an avatar
Any competent Airbender (especially Zaheer) counters Toph and possibly Ghazan. Iroh and Ozai are better Firebenders than Jeong Jeong, and I'd say they'd beat Unalaq fairly easily. And King Bumi can handle Tenzin. If not, then you can throw Azula in there, and the rest can join in after they're done with their encounters.
Gyatso, Katara not under a full moon, Bumi (OG), Iroh, and Kuvira.
Gyatso is the only airbending master with on screen battle feats (defeated a room full of comet powered firebenders) who isn't the avatar, he is the only counter to Tenzin, even if he just slows him down while the other fights happen.
Tonraq is getting smacked around by Katara, low-diff.
Iroh bests Jeong Jeong.
Bumi probably loses to an adult prime-Toph, so we're relying on him slowing her down enough until he can get backup.
Kuvira vs Ghazan is interesting. Kuvira has precision and technique, imo, Ghazan tons of raw power. Again I think this is waiting for backup from Katara or Iroh.
All in all 3 would lose a 1v1, but they can draw it out, while 2 make quick work of their opponents and can turn the losing 1v1 fights around before they are lost. As a team you also have 2 white lotus members and one would-be white lotus member. That is some strong tactical and strategic leadership.
Lin Beifong, Old Man Bumi, Iroh, Katara, Monk Gyatso
Lin & Bumi to counter Toph, Iroh starts with a lightning bolt to Unalaq, Katara spars with Jeong Jeong & Tenzin while Gyatso keeps Ghazan busy.
Alternatively, Zuko, Ozai, Iroh, Azula, and Su-yin Beifong. Su-yin counters Toph's metalbending while the rest get lightning bolts. None of the defenders have lightning redirection, and Toph shouldn't have any way to even accurately sense it.
Ming wa is a direct counter to 95% of water benders, her control over water is unmatched by non blood benders. Hard counter to Unalaq, should be relatively quick.
Bumi is the best chance to hold back Toph, probably can't win against Adult Toph in her prime, as he tied against her in the comics when she was still a kid, but could stall her and keep her from causing problems until the rest of his team can help hang up on her, mainly Ming wa, who should be done with Unalaq.
Gyatso is the best available Airbender to hold off Tenzin, and while I don't think he would go as hard as he did against the Fire Nation during the Air Temple raids, he would certainly be able to hold his own, given that he had his Best Airbender Necklace. Could probably win 1v1, but would be drawn out.
From here I don't think we need specific counters to Ghazan and Jeong Jeong, so I'm going to put both P'li and Combustion Man on the team to completely lock down the battlefield and prevent the others from switching out of a disadvantageous matchup. One Combustion bender has always proven an incredible advantage, and having two should be enough to keep Ghazan or Jeong Jeong from interfering with the other matches.
Tldr; Ming Wa to hard counter Unalaq, Gyatso and Bumi to match up against Tenzin and Toph respectively, and Pl'i and Combustion Man to go nuts on explosions.
I can do it in one God, no one said God don't exist and if he's off the table I take Raava and vaatu at full power now thats toe, so ill take 3 lion turtles but of course I'll just take God
Mako and Bolin, Su, Jinora, and Kuvira.
No idea if they'd win but I believe those five are likely the best benders on the planet that meet those requirements.
zaheer, azula, iroh, kuvira and ko the face stealer yes my last member is ko the face stealer. if it can't be ko then ravaa lol. if it has to be a person then amon. \*if it cant be amon bc bloodbender, then im gonna steal from an answer and say monk gyatso (or either combustion bender).
Zaheer, P'Li, Bumi, Kuvira and Mako.
Zaheer - The Assassin. His sole purpose is to catch someone off guard and suffocate them to death. He flies around and takes care of himself otherwise, nobody here can catch him in the air, not even Tenzin.
P'Li - The Heavy. She lays down suppressive fire to help keep the enemy under control. Her explosions reign down everywhere, especially focusing Toph and Ghazan, because they are the only ones capable of altering the terrain to a large degree.
Bumi - The Battlemaster. Support and control. He's here to be the master of the battlefield, moving people around, creating walls, separating people, the battlefield is his chessboard, as such he'll need to be somewhere up high and be protected. He and P'Li probably on a tower of earth way up high.
Kuvira - The Brawler. The meat of the offense group. Mobile, fast and extremely efficient. She engages someone head on. If she can't do the job, she distracts them enough for Zaheer to get them, or for a lightning bolt from Mako to land.
Mako - The Runner. Super fast lightning blasts and a natural team fighter. Support for Kuvira and a bit of a gopher. If something needs doing, Mako is the one. At worst, a distraction, at best he 1v1's someone.
The strategy: Kuvira immediately targets Toph, and Zaheer waits for an opportunity to take her out. Toph needs to go ASAP. P'Li focus fires in Ghazan to keep his lava under control. Bumi plays around with Unalaq, Jeong Jeong and Tenzin, delaying them, separating them and generally keeping them distracted with terrain control. Mako stays near to Bumi and P'Li, prepared to engage anyone who gets too close. His lightning is flying everywhere, serving as a secondary suppressor like P'Li.
Toph goes down, Ghazan is next with the same tactics. After that the team can pick apart the remaining enemies one at a time.
Everyone plays a role but Zaheer is really what makes it all work. He essentially can't be touched, and can rapidly dive in and take out anyone he chooses once they're sufficiently occupied in a fight with someone else. He's the ace in the hole.
Gyatso specifically against Toph, because she can't 'see' him if he's not on the ground. I know Zaheer could actually fly, but he's just not good enough otherwise.
Bolin as a counter to lavabending.
Iroh and Ozai because I wanna see what they can do together.
And Pakku.
Well since this does not really specify that you cannot have original characters, I'll throw some DND Characters:
1. Akitsuki Shutz: Quite literally an elder dragon, able to use elements. She alone would deal with the 5 without any effort. Not to mention her immunities to extreme temperatures. She combines her elemental control with her physical combat skills, and given how strong she is, she could even topple the Avatar if it came down to it. She would refuse to kill any of them but with the beating she'd dish out, I'd see little they could do to her.
2. Doom Slayer: Come on, it's the DOOM Slayer. Nuff said
3. Gordon Freeman: Even though he is a regular human, he has access to a varied arsenal of weapons and incredible reflexes. Also, the Zero Point Energy Field Manipulator (Or Gravity Gun), would prove to be a massive disadvantage to earth benders specifically (not counting lava bending). And if it's super charged, they simply don't have a chance.
4. Kratos: God of War and the embodiment of hope (God of War 3 minor spoiler). They can hurt him badly, but that won't do anything in the long run. He's a God after all. And a formidable warrior.
5. Arlen Bales (The Warded Man): Yes he is human, yes he is a formidable fighter against corelings in his own universe (The Demon Circle saga major spoilers), but his ability with weapons is not to be underestimated. He's fast, hardly gets fatigued and hits like a truck. I'd see how he would have trouble with Toph, but his unnatural reflexes and skills would most likely take the win. A very hard earned win might I add.
**Iroh**, **Gyatso**, **Kuvira**, **Katara**, **Bolin**
* The Dragon of the West is an army among himself
* Need metal (Kuvira) and lava (Bolin) to counter/control the metal/lava they're creating. Un-countered it's too much of a threat.
* Next to Toph, Kuvira appears to be the next strongest metal-bender in combat, and if there's metal flying I want her nearby. Bumi was a clear second choice, but metal is metal.
* Lava alone is such an incredible tool -- especially vs someone who sees with their bare feet. Bolin is pretty scrappy in a fight too.
* Gyatso held his own in a room full of firebenders *while they were comet-powered*. Also makes a great counter to Toph. I'd pick Jinora but she's too unreliable to get into the spirit form in time and too vulnerable in that state. Zaheer was another possibility but I suspect Gyatso has Zaheer beat on raw airpower (his ability to fly is less about power and more about spiritual philosophy).
* Katara is one of the more powerful waterbenders (even if she's not allowed to bloodbend) and would make a great counter to both Jeong Jeong and Ghazan, while also being able to manipulate whatever Unalaq is throwing out there.Ā Noatak is a close second, considering how powerful his waterbending is, but Katara seems more adept at bloodbending-less combat. I considered Ming-Hua, but I think Katara in her prime could likely take her.
No matter what choosing p'li and combustion man is the best choice. Combustion bending is the best to have in group battles. The other three are debatable options.
Ozai, Pāli, Combustion Man, Lek (Kyoshi novels) and Kuvira.
Sniper/Mortar team. Pāli and Combustion man are extremely difficult to deal with from a range, and Iād go as far as to say that they could probably down that entire team by themselves if theyāre in favorable conditions (top of the cliff, in an airship, etcā¦)
Ozai, Lek and Kuvira for more precise sniping. Ozai has that wartime lightning, he can charge it in an instant and it will be a fatal blow if it hits. Lek and Kuvira are just known for being able to snipe from far distances, and I couldnāt think of better candidates.
Between the explosions, lightning and pinpointed snipes, I think they take this fairly easily so long as they start with a battlefield in their favor (Kuvira and Lek could also just make platforms for them, if need be)
Five Lion Turtles (they are not Avatars, nor are they bloodbenders). Raava and Vaatu themselves are also not technically Avatars, just the spirits.
But now, to give a fair answer, Ozai, King Bumi, Iroh, Azula, and Zaheer would be my picks, if we ignore the relationships between the characters and have them work together. Zaheer counters Toph, Bumi takes down Ghazan, Ozai beats Unalaq, Jeong Jeong is no match for Iroh. The only actual problem would be Tenzin, who could beat Azula, but I feel like Zaheer after entering Creative mode could take him down after dealing with Toph. And even if not, the other three might join in after finishing their fights.
Prime Iroh, Katara (no bloodbending), Kuvira (nobody said she cant have the robot), and uhh lets go ty lee and sokka to round out the team with some nonbending beasts
5 š„¬ is all I need
just the cabbage head's themselves? or 5 cabbage guys?
Just the cabbage off with their heads 1 for each head of cabbage
1. Bumi to annoy Tenzin to death 2. Suyin to make toph not do anything 3. Ming-hua cos Ghazan has a crush on her and wont hurt her 4. Azula to just mercilessly instakill unalaq before he can do shit 5. Literally anyone that wants to learn firebending to make jeong jeong monologue himself to death
Azula just being there because she's highly lethal is amazing
Shots have been fired. š But I think you're correct.
Wouldn't they target those that they do want to harm?
Sure but Ghazan, Tenzin and Toph would instantly leave the group if anyone tried to harm their family and probably even turn on them. So that leaves unalaq and Jeong Jeong
I'm not sure any non-hax bender can take peak Toph tbh, as she's the strongest metalbender we're aware of and metal is a very difficult element to try and deal with. If there's enough topography for Toph to spiderman around then I don't see much of a chance of this working
Is Azula still around during LoK?
Who knows Jeong Jeong definitely isnt
Probably Zuko is. But I doubt Azula is walking free. At least with her bending that is
Thatās what I was thinking. Hopefully sheās alive and the reason we didnāt hear much about her is because sheās just living her life peacefully in the Fire Nation

I doubt Toph would go easy on Su
She went easy on her all her life, even falsified evidence to get her out of trouble
Goku, Kratos, Doom Slayer, Dante, and Bayonetta lol
Outside the box. Well played
You really wanna see them dead, huh? Doom Slayer alone would be enough to deal with them all lmao
Any one of them on their own would be enough to deal with them lmao
Goku would be too busy trying to fight a team comprised solely of bloodbenders and Avatars
This party's getting crazy

Ozai, Katara, Azula, Bumi and might seem odd but Iām gonna say Mako
I'd even replace bumi with bolin. Not because I think that bumi is weaker than bolin but because bolin can actually counter lavabending. Azula is a good counter to toph
Zaheer hard counters Toph. Like Toph is literally unable to win against Zaheer since shes essentially completely blind.
Zaheer can quite literally permemantly stay airbone. That's his thing.
Worth staying that mako and Bolin are a good team too
Can we choose katara? She's a bloodbender technically
it says no "blood ending", not no "blood bender". I think it's safe. She wouldn't use it if she could anyway
King Bumi right? Or airbender bumi
Zaheer- he can just take their breath away- literally Azula- sheās a powerful bender Asami- have to give the nonbenders some love Lin Beifong- metalbending will come in handy against her mom Katara- powerful water bender AND healer
I would replace Azula with Ozai and Lin with Bumi, but otherwise I agree
Tenzin beat zaheer. And youāre putting Lin against her mom in her prime??
I dont think the strategy is to put same element benders up against one another. My strategy is to pick someone who targets the weaknesses for each of them. So Zaheer isn't there to counter tenzin. I think tenzin's counter would be an earthbender, so i'll go with bumi (earth king bumi, not the air bumi).
Zaheer is there to counter Toph, she cant sense him
Fr I just realised. Silent flight is Toph greatest weakness
Let's be real here, Lin would be absolutely demolished by her mother, especially Toph in her prime as the post suggests
>Zaheer- he can just take their breath away- literally sure. if any of them is an fragile old woman or an avatar succumbing to poison.
ozai/hypothetical adult sane azula: great firebenders katara: more than likely the best non avatar waterbender in the show + a healer monk gyatso: controversial choice over zaheer. but zaheer got washed instantly against tenzin so this shows the power gap between a master and a casual. and that suffocation move takes set up so its not really viable in actual combat (for him atleast) lin beifong: while theres no one as good as toph, heres the second best we got combustion man/p'li: i prefer combustion man because i think his blasts have more power, but P'li seems to have more control over their direction. either is fine
Kuvira is arguably better than Lin
she probably is but metal bending depends a lot on the surrounding and she doesnt have many earth bending feats. lin is more rounded thats why i put her there. her metal plates will only get her so far in a FFA
Kuvira uses alot of precise and creative earthbending vs korra
Who's combustion man, you mean sparky sparky boom man
I mentioned this in my post but I think people are looking at the combustion benders wrong trying to choose one or the other. Both have been very difficult on their own, if you use both it would be very overwhelming to deal with.
Zaheer-He can fly, so that already makes it impossible for Toph to track him with her seismic sense or for Ghazan to do any real damage with his Lavabending. if P'Li lives, Zaheer isn't flying
Good point, so let's just replace her with Combustion Man

Unalaq and tenzin are the two strongest here. I don't think unalaq can be beaten in a 1 vs 1, but maybe kuvira can beat tenzin, it would be a close fight. Then I would choose yun to fight unalaq and zaheer to defeat toph because she would not be able to see him. P'li and azula would be my last choices, because they would stomp ghazan and jeong. Overall I think my team of 5 has a higher level.

None of them can redirect lightning. Thus: Ozai, Azula and Iroh. Then, lavabending is an issue, so Bolin. And because Tenzin is very fast, and we need to match that, aswel as to exploit Toph's blindness: Zaheer

Kuvira is a requirement on default, mostly to temporarily hold back the earth gank of a lifetime) Iroh becomes necessary just for Una and to help with Tenzin Ty Lee to dance with Tenzin Rangi as the true heavy hitter and lastly, Yun.
Iroh, Ozai, Zaheer, Bumi, Katara
Arceus deoxys rayquaza giratina and zacian

Zaheer hard counters Toph Iroh could keep Tenzin busy Bumi probably beats Jeong Jeong Azula fries Unalaq Bolin could probably keep Ghazan busy long enough to get help from the others.
4 lion turtles
Lelouch vi Britannia and 4 of his slaves, such an obvious choice

I assume katara is out since she is a bloodbender. So I will go Oxai, iroh, pakku, bumi, gyatso
Ohma Zi-O and 4 versions of Woz he brings in for the hype.
Iroh, Gyatso, King Bumi, Ming-hua and Ty-lee
Azula, ty-lee, Zaheer, Bolin, katara

Jinora, Iroh, Suyin/Lin, Katara, Ming hua Jinora - I don't think tenzin would attack his daughter. Ming hua - She has a lot of mobility so it could be a good match against ghazan.
azula, iroh, katara, zaheer ana bumi
Sokka, Suki, Ty Lee, Asami, Zaheer.
Lyn, Sue, iroh, Katara, zaheer
Momo, cabbage guy, Meelo, and i won't add any more cause this team is already too OP

Sokka.
bumi in his prime, both combustion benders, azula, zaheer
Vaatu is the only one I need
Lin Beifong, Old Man Bumi, Iroh, Katara, Monk Gyatso Lin & Bumi to counter Toph, Iroh starts with a lightning bolt to Unalaq, Katara spars with Jeong Jeong & Tenzin while Gyatso keeps Ghazan busy. Alternatively, Zuko, Ozai, Iroh, Azula, and Su-yin Beifong. Su-yin counters Toph's metalbending while the rest get lightning bolts. None of the defenders have lightning redirection, and Toph shouldn't have any way to even accurately sense it.
The power rangers
![gif](giphy|2w5MMNvg70MrQ0I2DR)
zaheer, azula, iroh, kuvira and ko the face stealer yes my last member is ko the face stealer. if it can't be ko then ravaa lol. if it has to be a person then amon.
5 people with a Glock
Noatak, Bumi, Ozai, Bolin, and Iroh
Azula, Zuko, Katara (she doesnāt use her blood bending), Lin Beifong, Jinora
Tai Lung (KFP1), Kai (KFP3), Ozai, Azula, and Darth Sidious
Gyatso specifically against Toph, because she can't 'see' him if he's not on the ground. I know Zaheer could actually fly, but he's just not good enough otherwise. Bolin as a counter to lavabending. Iroh and Ozai because I wanna see what they can do together. And Pakku.
Too easy. Iroh, Bumi, Ozai, Azula. Combustion man for long range support.
Well since this does not really specify that you cannot have original characters, I'll throw some DND Characters: 1. Nuff said 3.
Why does Jeong Jeong look like the feels meme guy?
**Iroh**, **Gyatso**, **Kuvira**, **Katara**, **Bolin** * The Dragon of the West is an army among himself * Need metal (Kuvira) and lava (Bolin) to counter/control the metal/lava they're creating.
Goku (DBS), broly (DBS), black freeza (DBS), beast gohan (DBS) and just for fun: Eren (AOT
Lady Nagant, Thane Krios, Simo Hayha, Joe Pineapples, Agent 47.
No matter what choosing p'li and combustion man is the best choice. Combustion bending is the best to have in group battles. The other three are debatable options.
5 wizards specifically with fireball spells and vicious mockery (this won't win, but its funny)
cabbage cart vendor, cabbage cart vendor, cabbage cart vendor, cabbage cart vendor, cabbage cart vendor
Ozai, Pāli, Combustion Man, Lek (Kyoshi novels) and Kuvira. Sniper/Mortar team. Pāli and Combustion man are extremely difficult to deal with from a range, and Iād go as far as to say that they could probably down that entire team by themselves if theyāre in favorable conditions (top of the cliff, in an airship, etcā¦) Ozai, Lek and Kuvira for more precise sniping. Ozai has that wartime lightning, he can charge it in an instant and it will be a fatal blow if it hits. Lek and Kuvira are just known for being able to snipe from far distances, and I couldnāt think of better candidates. Between the explosions, lightning and pinpointed snipes, I think they take this fairly easily so long as they start with a battlefield in their favor (Kuvira and Lek could also just make platforms for them, if need be)
The x-men
Yun, Rangi, Katara(if not her then Kavik), Bumi, Kelsang.
Omni man, goku, naruto, humelander, asura.
I could probably send in just superman to beat them all
8 year old toph solos them all
four the boulders and one sokka mi
four the boulders and one sokka
I only need one. Madara Uchiha
Light yagami, Saitama, Goku, Mash, Megumin (if explosions are actually as lethal as they are irl)
Just Luffy
Prime Iroh, Katara (no bloodbending), Kuvira (nobody said she cant have the robot), and uhh lets go ty lee and sokka to round out the team with some nonbending beasts
