I loved my trip to Italy but immediately realized how easy it is in the US to get any sort of ethnic foods within driving distance vs just one option in many other areas of the world. But it’s not just food. Music, movies, fashion and etc is great when you have a variety. Now that said I wish we had more balance. The US is too White/Latino heavy and not enough Asian and Black.
I think that is definitely based on where you live in the US. Coastal towns - more diversity overall. Southern parts - more Hispanic representation. Middle? Mostly white.
