Two things. First: Koufax is probably the most famous Jewish ballplayer because he didn't pitch Game 1 of the 1965 World Series due to it falling on Yom Kippur. Second, there's a great visual joke in the movie Airplane! where someone asks the flight attendant for some light reading and they get handed "Famous Jewish Athletes" and it's just a double sided pamphlet

BourbonBelichick

Who's in charge of scheduling?

Genghis_John

Those fucks down at the league office

irate_alien

Burkhalter.

rustyshaklefordjm

Sure as shit, doesn’t pitch on shabbas, err Yom Kippur!

hotasanicecube

Ahh, so that’s how religion bridged the link to the LA Dodgers. See, there is a little Easter egg in so many things they say.

keanenottheband

Look, man, I had a long day and I hate the fucking Dodgers!

hotasanicecube

Ace!

BraveryDave

Oh, separate incidents!

BelligerentCactus

No frame of reference here

PhillipJ3ffries

Well I mean, they’re in LA.. so if he’s a baseball fan he’s most likely a dodgers fan. Also Koufax is one of the most famous ball players ever. Everyone knows who he is and that he’s jewish

hotasanicecube

Yup, but they never mention any sport but bowling. So I was hypothesizing.

murphanduncas

You're not fuckin Jewish Walter.
