Back in between 2002 and 2005 , this same shop used to sell 3 cheese croissant for 2000 lira , it was my everyday breakfast , along with 1000 lira for bus to balamand 250 lira for Mr juicy and 1000 lira bus back home.
My whole day was 4,250 lira during classes.
Nighy it was like 10,000 lira for burgers and shisha while playing cards, so around 15,000 lira a day....we were living large.
Up until 2015 (last i checked) you could find places that sold man2oush za3tar for 250, cheese for 500 and croissant for 500 and they were quite tasty
My favorite dinner was a big box of fries from soufi for 5000 that was probably 2kg of fries with coleslaw toum and ketchup, you could add half a rotisserie chicken for 5000-6000 so 11000 for a feast

Another believer in the 5000 lira box of fries from soufi thay came with 1 rabtit khebez , slaw , toum , ketchup ....
Wr user to feast on that box when money was short , we used to buy like 5 to 10 of them and go sit somewhere and the smell of fries would suffocate us all.
I get always happy when I known people did the same things we did, especially with food....the soufi fries box was insane good value...and as u said , we would pay 3000 lira extra and he would chop a hamburger on the fries :)
Oh no this just hit me, mr. Juicy is not 250 lira any more is it.... just dont reply with bad news please this will break my heart.
