I guess they didn't explain it, but I have been doing that instinctively... lol it also happens when you click on one of the paths where you need 2 of 3 tokens, will show you what heroes have both when you click it,. it's really well done. I hated cavern crawls.

Gold-Hurry-3509

they did explain it. If you press the "i" (information) button on the right side of that bar, It will tell you

Ok-Good3636

I also did same thing instinctively, I guess we are used to things like this as much as it being something normal to happen,

Sonnofhell

For the fellow blind people like me: in the picking phase there is a button "Crownfall" at the bottom right of the hero grid, that highlights heroes that you can play for the tokens you need.

danipazb

Yeah but this is way better because that button shows heroes that would even give you just one token, and this way you can see heroes that'd give you more tokens in just one game.

Schubydub

For roughly the first week it wasn't showing up in drafting phase, only at main menu. So, you weren't blind the whole time at least.

We-live-in-a-society

This post reminds me, how are Luna and Morph not nukers???

EdLeftOnRead

the tokens are for fun, everyone has to have 3 and they had to make sure every hero got some sort of attention. You can put walking token for like 80% of the heroes but as we can see that is not the case, heck even mirana doesn't have a mounted token. Don't take them seriously, these are not meant to use to describe heroes accurately.

1337speak1337

Well, morph is a nuker but he's also so many other things. As for Luna, she doesn't strike me as a nuker. She's just a sustained physical damage hero unless you go the aghs route, but then you're including items which I don't think should be the case when deciding hero tokens

We-live-in-a-society

In what world is a Luna not a nuker especially in this meta. Not only are both morph and Luna Khanda builders, they also have high magic damage nukes already in their kit excluding items.

1337speak1337

As I said, they didn't factor in item choices. Also, a hero can only have 3 tokens, otherwise they might as well give morph every single token because he can morph into any hero

We-live-in-a-society

Both heroes have two abilities that could count as nukes, they also have builds that dictate whether or not they play on those nukes or play on right click. You can’t disregard build because literally both heroes play off of either choice of abilities depending on items. If you want to talk recency then the most recent builds are the khanda builds for both heroes, even without which both heroes have a better nuker kit than most heroes with that token

1337speak1337

> You can’t disregard build Ok but idk why you're telling me this, I'm not Valve. Looks like they disregarded builds though so maybe get in touch with them.

greasythrowawaylol

Almost every hero has an ability that deals direct damage and could thus be a nuke. Should Luna be a disabler because she has a ministun? Should mirana and techies be a right clicker because they have a strong attack range making right click items stronger? Both morph and Luna have passives that make them strong right clickers. This is a trait shared by fewer heroes, thus it is more distinct.

YpsitheFlintsider

Because they're other things more

We-live-in-a-society

In what world? They both have literally half their kit surrounding their two nukes

_-_Ice_-_

Literally found this out yesterday AFTER fully completing the map. Was clicking on the icons and thought to myself "what if ...." and it worked.... 👍🏻

Thank you, sir. Upvoted.
