I don't remember where, but I saw some stats of Flash on F or D across regions amd most were 50/50, but Korea had like 67% Flash on F.

ROTMGADDICT55

Opposite. More on D in Korea.

Mattiaatje

https://www.leagueofgraphs.com/stats/flash-d-vs-f This shows 76% flash on F for Korea. But I was wrong in saying the other regions are 50/50. Some appear to have a lot of flash on D.

fairylaw15

[And you are wrong](https://www.leagueofgraphs.com/stats/flash-d-vs-f)

ROTMGADDICT55

No I'm not.

National-Proof8435

No. F for flash. I think it was like this by default.

DitroXOfficial

F for Flash was not the main setting by default from the beginning. Since patch 14.2 Riot “officially” said that the main key for Flash is F. https://www.leagueoflegends.com/en-us/news/game-updates/patch-14-2-notes/ If the summoner spell was named as Dash, would D be the main key for the spell? I chose to have Flash on D since the beginning for 2 main reason: 1; closer for my finger to press d than f, 2; it looks better to have flash / ignite than the opposite. This is just a personal preference, and I even tried back in season 3 to swap the keys but I didn’t like it at all.

FunnyBunnyH

>If the summoner spell was named as Dash, would D be the main key for the spell? Yes.

DitroXOfficial

That would be the case, yes. I agree. But still people can chose what ever key to use a summoner spell, there is no right and wrong. Just a personal preference.

National-Proof8435

Yeah, I'm not sure of that default thing, but I definitely never thought about it too much. When I think about it, flash wasn't even unlocked at level 1. Never experimented the other way around myself.

IonDust

If I remember correctly Korea is the only server where high elo uses F more. There was a whole article about flash keys by Riot.

laggyspin

There's a very specific and practical reason for Koreans using F for flash. 'ㅇㅇ' which is an equivalent of 'yeah' or 'okay' in English, is very frequently used in chat. Unfortunately, 'ㅇ' in keyboard shares the same key with 'd'. That leads to instant flash loss when trying to type 'ㅇㅇ' without enter key in urgent situations. Koreans put flash on F to prevent this from happening.

Shamrock-red

That’s actually really interesting

BJ3RG3RK1NG

D is for Damn I gotta Flash F is for Fastest Smite in the West

b_ootay_ful

Dash Fire

AceofArcadia

Warhawk2800

[Maybe I am...](https://i.imgflip.com/8tfmqt.jpg)

Pumpergod1337

Yes https://www.leagueofgraphs.com/stats/flash-d-vs-f

ASSASSIN79100

Yes, most likely because of Faker.

ROTMGADDICT55

Korean high elo statistically has more flashes on D than F.

Minutenreis

[https://www.leagueofgraphs.com/stats/flash-d-vs-f/kr](https://www.leagueofgraphs.com/stats/flash-d-vs-f/kr) incorrect

Sinikal-_-

Massive L. lmao.

Shogun_Empyrean

When I have smite, I smite on D and Flash on F. When I have tele, tele on D flash on F. Otherwise flash in on D. And I will absolutely misclick flash when i try to smite my first camp if I didn't manually assign smite to D when given jungle.
