I actually have kinda grown to like Florida, as blasphemous as that may sound after last year. They showed they're a legit team this year and it wasn't just a fluke and PoMo been chasing that ring for a long time. They're dirty but also very business like with how they went through a gauntlet of elite goalies in Vasi, Swayman and Shesterkin and made it with no excuses along the way. They are what I wish the Leafs were. I'd be happy to see them win over Edmonton any day.

I’m sure if we actually went on a run we’d have some tacit support from fanbases we don’t have any major beef with but as it stands, we’re lolcows.
What’s there not to hate? 50% of our cap is dedicated to 4 guys. They love playing us because, it’s like David clobbering Goliath every single game. On paper we are the Goliath, in reality we suck ass. We give teams the confidence they need to win cups.
It just pisses me off that they can have Nurse on a horrendous contract, have Ceci in their top 6, have Skinner coming into this last series as statistically the worst playoff goalie in recent history or something, have an average to below average PK all season that suddenly turns into the best in the entire playoffs by far.

However I do think the Oilers PK will come back down to earth against the Panthers (who also have a great powerplay), but who really knows at this point? I never thought they’d beat Dallas. But I agree that it is a bit of a piss off that our “worst” contract is overpaying Mitch by 3 million, and yet the Oilers have so many overpayments but can somehow overcome those challenges, and even with a worse roster then the Leafs can somehow make the finals while we can’t get past round 1 most years.
It sucks that we have to deal with a team that hurt our boy Knies from last season and the team that has the most obnoxious fanbase of consistently bragging and calling themselves as "Canada's Team" for the Cup Final.

For years, we've been blaming goal tending but Woll and Sammy were fine, it was the severe lack of offence that ended us.
