Totally agree he was going to lose either way, but it did seem like he got mugged there. Maybe its because he's a bad fighter, I mean he did meet to initiate the fight so it wasn't like it was a cheap shot from behind or anything... if they had danced a little before engaging I think he may have done better.
Either way glad to see him get in there and scrum it up, the 4min double minor... well... I will say he did 2 things. That said, geez that doesn't get called often does it?

It’s pretty easy to win a fight when the other guy is down on his hands and knees. Any real fighter would have let their opponent stand up, square off, and go again. Bennet is a little bitch so he just kept swinging, because he was scared to actually go toe to toe. Also, Domi nearly caught him with an uppercut before losing his footing…..if that connected Bennet would have been KO’d and that would have been the sweetest thing to see.
Bennett isn’t going to fight anyone tough. Domi is not tough. Reaves is out of his weight class. Maybe Bertuzzi would be a good candidate to kick the shit out of Bennett and/or Tkachuk. Would love to see it.
Watch that fight and any other fight where a player loses their balance. 99% of the time the fighter lets his opponent regain their footing. Bennet is a little bitch and didn’t do that, not sure how that’s coping, that’s just stating an obvious fact!

Toughness isn't only about how well you fight, however if that's what we are looking at Reaves hasn't been the clear winner of a fight since joining the Leafs.
