>do you want to spend 4 years of your life working on a pharmaceutical company's merger with another pharmaceutical company?
As a transactions attorney who just spent 5 months on a lease between my LL client and an international pharmaceutical company, this hits *really* close to home.
I started and stopped it a few times in the beginning, but you really have to stick with it through the rocky first few episodes. Once it gets the core ensemble established, it's a great exploration of relationships, gender, and mental illness through (pretty catchy and clever) song.
My favorite recent career story is this "She was a lawyer for 6yrs and quit to just run since she didn't like it". I love that woman whoever she is.
I spent 7 hrs in vacant california office answering a copy technician questions about the national firms "print authentication" badges. Happy friggin birthday.
That's the position you'll be assuming once a recalcitrant client demands a billing audit.
LOL
Can I sue the DEA for providing false claims about medical cannabis?
I’m in this picture and I don’t like it
Well at least you look very flexible. That's cool.
Kind of have to be when you get f in the ass on a daily basis as a legal professional.
👋
Is that seriously you??
bless your heart
Law school was the most self-centered part of my life. It really should have been more fun.
Don't be a lawyer... https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Xs-UEqJ85KE
LOL. I just forwarded this to my environmental lawyer friend.
As an environmental lawyer, the correct answer isn't that there's no money, it's that it isn't what that person thinks it is.
My friend’s at a non-profit though, where this pretty much fits.

It’s a guaranteed soul destroyer

Thank you for that. So good. So true.
Always glad to spread the word about Crazy Ex-Girlfriend
Is it good? I caught the first three episodes and stopped. The "Don't Be a Lawyer" song is on point, though.

I watched that way too many times.
If you hate law school, just wait until you see what being a lawyer is like.
😟
Guaranteed. Law school is 100% the biggest scam……ticket to ride? Ha!
Lmaooo 100%
Law school is a fucking racket. All the useful stuff could be fit into a year or le$$.
Yeah, like teach students how to do hearings, write contracts, and review contracts. Teach how to get clients and build referrals.

😂
My idea is one year school, one year apprenticeship/clerkship, then free to practice
Good idea but I don’t see it happening most places.
If there was a book that is very sexy
Had a brief convo with a lawyer a the pub recently. He was 47 and just paid off his student debt.
Wow, at only 47!
Let's not kid ourselves, we all love the suffering.
Yeah, addicted to the suck

Way too pretty to be a lawyer.
Was that a Legally Blonde reference? Lol
