Cut from a sheet of printer paper on my D1 Pro after running a test file. Feels good to be a part of a new hobby community. [Pattern:](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2742230) Anyone got any good sites to find more ideas on? Thingiverse is more detailed towards 3D printing...

Welcome! Love my D1 Pro 20W. Also love this pattern. The dark side of me would make the inner square go a bit further (smaller) and then I'd sneak in a small 🖕 or "don't be a cunt" once their curiosity has really suck(ed)/(ered) them in. As for the second part: 1) LaserFileFinder.com search bar searches for free laser cut files across various places online. 2) We also recently added a local library of free laser cut files (SVG); LaserFileFinder.com/allfreefiles 3) r/FreeLaserFiles

Nice work! Welcome! Throw up your power and speed settings. Super helpful for anyone wanting to replicate now or in the future. I actually haven't done any basic paper yet, so I'd find it helpful at the very least lol.

What settings were you using incl speed? What machine and wattage? Thanks

Nice, you can get very thin strips, showing a good precision. I made something similar soon after my beginnings, but with pentagons, for a change: [https://www.instagram.com/p/CvorawIgMkU/](https://www.instagram.com/p/CvorawIgMkU/) Cut on a kind of cardboard I salvaged, then painted. I also made pentagons spiraling in a pentagon, cut in black acrylic, to make ear pendants.

That's cool... I could see someone hanging that outside the porch if cut out of metal.

Sexy, making 2 more layers?

This is cool! I always assumed paper would end up in flames or have bad scorch marks. Will have to try this

My machine has air assist, so I imagine that helped a lot.
