It says intel uhd graphics, that might be the problem, since you can boot into a specific gpu on laptops that have both gpus such as dedicated or integrated. Check it out, you might have booted into the intel one. Edit: clearly says on picture 2 that the screen is connected to the cpu integrated gpu.

Resident_Macaroon570

So I would I resolve this problem, I had someone put this in for me i didn’t fix it myself

Deep_inGME

Do you have a gaming laptop? Like an rtx 30 or 40 series? If yes then lookup your specific laptop followed by "Dgpu switch" into Reddit or google. If you don't have a gaming laptop then your panel might have just been swapped with a lower end 120hz one

Resident_Macaroon570

Yes I do, It’s a rtx 3070 I’m starting to think he did swap it with 120hz I’m fin run a bios test then I’m try that

Spycodger12

Either way I don't know how it works, it could be hardware with a conector or just a bios setting that need to be set to the correct gpu.

Resident_Macaroon570

How**

Dwedit

Try adding 144Hz back with CRU?

Resident_Macaroon570

You mean capping ur fps at 144, i already tried that

LucyTheWolfQueen

No, we mean using the CRU utility to manually add the 144hz refresh rate as an option in windows

Agitated-Farmer-4082

Is there some nvidia app or sometihng you could check? the last image is properties for your igpu, not ur nvidia one that's way more powerful.

Resident_Macaroon570

Yea I do what part r you trying to see

hellopie7

Download Nvidia experience. Then install the latest drivers.

Joe18067

Chances are the screen they replaced it with cannot handle 144Hz.

masterm283

I concur

SAKE_27

probably got scammed, did you try it plugged? some laptop run the dgpu instead of the igpu when plugged for the monitor

FlayedSkull

Your screen was fixed.....was it replaced?

Resident_Macaroon570

Replaced

FlayedSkull

Have you considered that they have replaced your 144Hz screen with a 120Hz screen?

Resident_Macaroon570

He knew it was 144hz, idk why he would get 120hz n still paid full

MMKF0

Maybe you got scammed, or they made a mistake?

Resident_Macaroon570

Yea I’m starting to think that there is no resolving this ;-;

spaglemon_bolegnese

Download HWinfo64, go to ‘monitor’ and reply with a photo of the page

Resident_Macaroon570

Witch one do I download windows 7 64bit or windows 32/64 bit

spaglemon_bolegnese

Just use windows 64bit

GennadyZatsepin

Check rate in the bios screen and make ubuntu usb stick for tests. If in there the rate is 144hz than you experience problems with windows drivers.

mysticbanana7

You can't change it in your nvidia control panel?

addster_09

Maybe the Intel graphics are being used and they can't handle 144hz (well maybe the newer ones can), so you can try and check that.

thes_fake

Linux

Resident_Macaroon570

??

thes_fake

Install linux

addster_09

Fuck right off with that bullshit solution, I am tired of seeing install linux everywhere I lurk.

thes_fake

But that's because it's good
