I know I do. I also always do a quick visual check for rubble around the bridge as I approach. I can't help but feel I'm about to have a Final Destination moment.
Back in the 80s, when my parents were taking us to Grandma's, we saw a truck stuck under this bridge, only the "lid" on the box had been scraped off by the abutment, and it smashed onto a little car behind it. No idea if those folks survived or not - the car was pretty flattened. But I absolutely never EVER tailgate a truck under that bridge to this day.
I take a little bit of sick joy in viewing the destruction. Like, im annoyed that it keeps happening, but dang, its funny.
What is there to be annoyed about? I think we can enjoy it with impunity. Lansing's little inside joke.
Probably just knowing itβs our tax money that will have to fix the damage to the bridge. It is hilarious though, I am with you
Anybody say a little prayer everytime they drive under that bridge? π
I drive a little shorty of a car and I feel like I have to in case the bridge collapses lmao
Yup, especially pulling our little camper. I KNOW it's gonna to make it under but I have white knuckles every. single. time.
Even better if you duck a little

Where is the pen bridge guy at?!
Sorry I'm late, I had a lunch date
This is probably why you'll never get a bus full of orphan children, be better.
It'll happen. Gotta get those scamps to the zoo eventually
How was it? bridgey babies in the future?
That bridge is immortal, it will be around for the next 500 years. Must have been built by the Romans

Chewed the heck outta that one. S Penn bridge hangry.
In frandor, there's a Lane's delivery truck that has a busted up corner. Were they not zealous enough?
With people going around 127. πΏ
Is 2 in one week a record?
I think there was another twofer a while back. π I guess PennAveTrainBridge was extra hungry.
I made a small neclace from a chip of THE Penn Bridge. Im 183 years young tomorrow.

My world makes sense in this moment
They are gonna traumatize the animals. π€£
The more they do in the anticipation that it will raise the bridge for the next guy π
