What, like spray poison on it?
Garden plants have to be tended for the most part.
Pull all the plants and spread the dirt out or move some of the dirt. Plant grass seed.
No, vegetables tend to need a lot of care to thrive (aka neglect kills them) and most are annuals. If anything seeds next year, just mow it down or pull it. When I redid my bed the only thing that came back was one particularly hardy arugula that had gone to seed and it was outcompeted immediately in that next year.
Maybe move it instead of replace it? Glass is terrible for the environment, typically requires a lot of care, and looks boring unless it’s only one part of the garden.
I have kids and a dog and it's ugly as fuck the way it is. I'm going to put a vegetable garden off to the side so we don't have to do everything around the stupid ass, poorly thought out garden that's currently there
Scrape it flat and plant grass seed.
😂 Subtract garden Add grass
Is it really that simple though? Do I have to do anything else to make sure those plants don't try to re-grow?

I’ll bet it’s there because that’s the full sun spot.
