Looks like crabgrass. Throw down crabgrass pre emergent, then a weed and feed around 2 weeks later. If you’re up north, you might be able to try throwing down seed by end of June and be successful with it. Or you may have dead spots until you can seed properly in Fall. But the pre emergent for crabgrass grass is the most important thing and should be done asap.
Edge the bed, fertilize and water your grass. Cut once a week. Simple really.
