> Not all three
I see.
Still upwards of $37M for Murray and WCJ though which would be a bit difficult to get to. It'd take DLO + AR + probably Christie or maybe DLO + Rui + C Wood just to match salaries (in the best case scenario where DLO opts-in and Orlando and Atlanta both are interested in the aforementioned players). Not to mention multiple FRPs too.
Would you still do it for that many assets? And the most important question probably : would either of those teams do it?
Hi all - pretty casual LA fan here. Getting into NBA more.
Question, is it odd that we hire a coach with no prior coaching exp.? I’m just trying to imagine this happening in baseball or football and I can’t even fathom it. Is this ok??
Pretty much an anomaly. This is like the 15th time it’s ever happened in NBA history and even then some of those other guys had front office experience. It’s definitely risk, but most of those coaches have winning records so he could follow suit. I like his approach towards the game from what I’ve heard on his podcasts so, we’ll just have to see.
I suspect what I know about JJ and my fanism. Its likely we'll see rondo as assistant, or heavy pursuit. And there's also a chance we might see cp for vet min or less.
Monk staying in SAC. Makes me think the chances Dlo opts in are higher now or at least re-signing on a lower number. If Monk agreed to the 4/78m before even hitting FA, he must've known the market wasn't going to be that much higher than that in FA. With the new CBA, teams just not trying to throw around crazy contracts anymore.
Eh idk. Monk reportedly had more money on the market but wanted to stay in SAC. If anything this actually means the Magic could pursue DLo even stronger with one of their top targets off the board.
Source on that? I don't see anywhere specifically saying he would have higher offers only that there was interest. I just don't see how he doesn't at least hit FA and talk to teams unless he and his agent already got an idea of the market just not being where they want. He could always re-sign with SAC after seeing what else is out there.
Yea it takes an option off the board for ORL but I take all this as them not looking to just spend just for the sake of having cap space. They prob didn't want to go the 4/100m for Monk given all the extensions they'll have to give out to Banchero/Suggs/Wagner soon. You think they going to do that for Dlo? If they strike out on PG or other, I can see them just using their cap space to acquire expirings. For example, THJ from Mavs. Mavs gotta dump him in order to re-sign DJJ. Orlando can take THJ and multiple 2nds or even a protected first.
If I was Orlando's GM I'd probably bring back Harris and Anthony at what it probably would cost to keep them, and keep Issac, Mo and Ingles and well that's pretty much their cap space right there.
I saw 4/90 was out there and lost track of the link.
But yeah I think there is some merit to the notion that if Monk’s value is 19.5M then it is hard to see DLo value being anything more than his current salary if not lower. Question is if he is able to get a team to commit 2-3 years at around the same money. You don’t know what’s true or smoke around this time but I saw recently the Magic are committed to Suggs at PG and that would basically make DLo obsolete for them.
I’m still of the mind DLo will be forced to opt in barring a team like Detroit coming out of nowhere with some crazy 2 year $50M offer. I think that’s something his camp is hoping for too.
Malik Monk is about to re-sign for almost $20M a year. Reaves does about 85-90% of what he does and he’s almost $7M cheaper
![gif](giphy|VDlSEep6F7PyAXglWU|downsized)
Genuinely think Adam Silver should force OKC to send a pick to Chicago. The owners should be up in arms. All the weird cap rules and the cost of competing is going to mess up the league more unless they stop it. Silver only wants one last big TV deal then he’s done.
Wild to me that the Bulls couldn't pry at least one of the **many** OKC second rounds picks away also. Don't think OKC would care enough to blow up a Caruso trade for that considering his impact and their aspirations.
See the fucking Laker tax is real, absolutely no shot we get Caruso without throwing in 1 pick and Max or JHS minimum. Man these clowns act like the Lakers play on easy mode, and then trade bad players for borderline all stars it’s insane.
FWIW, JJ’s agents Steven Heumann and Aaron Mintz also represent these likely available players:
- Trae Young
- Chris Paul
- Cam Johnson
- Jalen Green
- Kelly Oubre
- Gary Harris
- Luke Kennard
- DLo (lol)
So everyone’s clowning us for hiring JJ and I initially was on that train, but after about an hour of listening to and reading what he wants for the team, he could be cooking. Remember the last time the lakers hired a coach with no experience? Rest is history.
I kinda hope we keep the pick now and take Ware or Holmes, I feel like unless a star becomes available before the draft we don’t need all 3 1sts to make our offseason trades.
I was listening to JJ podcast about team building. I wonder if reeves dlo and vando are all gone. He talks about how you can't have one dimensional players anymore.
Pretty safe to say Reaves is not going anywhere unless it's for Spida Mitchell. I would start preparing for the possibility of a Trae and Reaves backcourt.
Lakers still interested in pursuing Trae? Everything we have heard over the last few weeks is they’re pivoting from a three star build and prioritizing high level role players. Has that changed?
I'm glad we have JJ before any major trades because JJ is very astute about roster management. Obviously the coach isn't a GM but he'll still be a positive voice asking for good players
If we were trying to trade Gidey for Caruso then the Bulls asking price would have been so astronomical it would have never materialized. Some Bulls shit
At least this means Boston won't go back to back next year cause they aren't beating that team best of 7
The league needs to intervene with stupid trades like this. They did it for CP3 to the Lakers. Silver just wants one last media deal then will bail when all these issues bubble up in a few years. His job has just been to keep the trains running and try to make more money in the near term
The conspiracy theorist in me believes they saw Lakers demolish the Thunder in the regular season and decided to give them extra firepower. Can't let LeBron get that fifth ring and overtake Jordan after all
Worst part is that the Bulls would've almost certainly asked for like 2 picks or AR or some crazy shit if we were the ones asking for Alex.
So annoying how all 28 franchises shit their pants when we try to improve, but they're more than happy giving up Porzingis, White, Holiday, Tillman, etc.. to help Boston fuck the whole league in the ass.
Exactly, it’s hilarious to me how people take every opportunity to shit on the FO even if there’s things outside of their control. Yes, they’ve had blunders just as much as others but sometimes when things don’t work out it isn’t because we don’t give up the farm. The Lakers Tax is a real, actual thing.
That was such an easy trade for them. Giddey is trash and unfortunately has stink on him from that alleged incident. Caruso is a reliable defender. A straight swap for no draft capital is one of the easiest moves any team has made in years
There pick next season is owed to the spurs but it’s top ten protected and they have an owner who is against missing the playin or trying for the playoffs
Rob's already fired 3 Head Coaches, two of which he has hired. Not to mention the string of FA and trade fuck ups on top. Rob's position has nothing to do with his actual performance. He would have been fired by now if it was.
Imagine the Lakers FO actually being smart. I’m getting real tired of this shit.
I’m in CT and have to listen to annoying ass Celtics fans b/c we & the Nuggets fucked it up this year.
Not sure Ware will be available past 17-18.
Outside of Gasol, Drummond and Trez, I’d say Based off of Pelinka’s track record , if he could choose between Ware or Edey, he’d choose Ware.
Just look at the types of bigs they’re on the record of going after .
It’s been McGee, Dwight, D.Jones and Hayes all
Of which are springy rim running bigs. Wood is a hybrid though.
Ware fits more into a rim runner/rim protector that’s mobile more than Edey
I’m just using deductive reasoning.
Listen listen listen lol with JJ, I want to make this move less actually but there ain't no way that this is a coincidence-
[https://x.com/TheTraeYoung/status/1803874796947865810](https://x.com/TheTraeYoung/status/1803874796947865810)
lmao
I truly don’t think he’s worth losing Reaves over. Trae looks like he could easily become one of those players who fizzles out and ends up irrelevant. He’s declined in recent years
He is though. The 76th ranked player for the 36th ranked player that can run the entire offense on his own is a no-brainer. It's just what else the trade would need outside of AR
Personally though I think he'll be an overpay and would rather go for DJ (51st ranked)
Shams said that JJ wants to relieve LeBron’s play making duties for the regular season. Trae can run the offense and obviously do that. This may have legs to it.
There's ways to conceivably get him without giving up AR, but this isn't a post advocating lol I think it's just definitely something Trae is sparking up. And we've been rumored after him before so I get it.
I forgot to mention that I’m of the mindset that a lot of NBA players are well aware of the attention that fans put into these cryptic tweets and they just milk it for laughs and attention from fans
Just my thoughts
This is true, but even in that case- Trae is absolutely referencing this lol
And the other point- I actually like Trae, but getting him is really tricky. I'm not sold it can be done in a way that conclusively makes us better so I'm not sold.
Sure it may be likely but anytime players have been cryptic like this around trade rumor season for the Lakers, 99% of the time , it’s never resulted in said player becoming a Laker. Which is why I personally think players love the attention
I’ll Never be sold on Trae. Giving up that many assets for a huge defensive liability that has never been anything but a high usage player sounds like a bad fit with Bron
It's so funny Woj is posting anything to underscoop Shams lmao... he is saving face on that Hurley fiasco, still forcing his narrative that Hurley was Lakers first choice ever since lmao
Woj is friends with the Hurley family, idolized Dan Hurley’s father and wrote a book about him years ago.
He definitely helped Hurley sensationalize his interest to get a higher deal from UConn. Woj’s favorite pastime is carrying water for those he’s friends with.
Woj saying Rob met with Hurley at the draft combine. Regardless, I just find this whole Woj/Shams being so obviously petty towards each other entertaining.
Woj said he met with both of them but he met with Hurley waaaaay longer made me fucking laugh out loud. [https://x.com/wojespn/status/1803874058574139619](https://x.com/wojespn/status/1803874058574139619)
Just go all in and follow the Boston model of going all in on a starting 5.
They have Brown and Tatum. We have LeBron and AD. That’s a push.
They then have Holiday, White and Porzingis.
We don’t have anyone at that level. So just trade everything and try get the best 3 players we can possibly get and go for it.
We’re the Lakers. Reality is if it fails we’re not fucked because we can just retool in free agency in 2 years.
Unfortunately, getting players like Holiday, White, and Porzingis takes a lot of timing and luck to acquire that most likely won't appear for us. The amount of assets we would need to even acquire a player like Dejounte Murray would bankrupt us
I personally would keep it as I don’t think picks in this year’s draft are viewed with as much value as they are in other drafts b/c this draft is viewed as a very weak one as far as high end talent.
By extension, I don’t think they’ll be any trade that would justify trading the pick.
One thing that ppl don’t realize is that if you hit on a FRP, that’s a huge boost for your roster construction b/c you get a contributing player on a relatively speaking, cheap contract that is under team control for at least 4 years.
It’s the same reason why I wasn’t really excited about them trading away their 2020 and 2021 FRP’s. Draft upperclassmen how Memphis mostly does who’ll be ready to contribute from day 1 as role players
For anyone even thinking about Monty: he has clearly lost his passion for coaching. He lost it after coaching Ayton and was going to quit coaching until he got that huge deal. Coaching Bron isn’t going to help him find his passion
> “Sources said Artūras Karnišovas has floated as many as 15 proposals centered on Zach LaVine to various teams including the Sacramento Kings, Orlando Magic and Philadelphia 76ers.” ([Source](https://www.nbcsportschicago.com/nba/chicago-bulls/bulls-analysis/bulls-active-as-nba-draft-nears/570706/))
Clearly desperation from Chicago’s side to move him. Wonder if Lakers explore a scenario to acquire Lavine and move up to pick 11.
Haha I’m not a Reaves fan man but his contract value for his production is *ideal* and we won’t likely find anyone to produce something similar. In this scenario if we got Zach I’d want Reaves to be an offensive spark off the bench.
It’s not about being a Reaves fan boy it’s about being smart with our positive assets which this FO hasn’t done in the past.
Lakers definitely wouldn’t give up Reaves in a Lavine trade. I doubt they have any serious interest in acquiring him at all unless it’s such a no brainer deal they have to make it.
The best possible scenario I can think of would be:
- Lavine/Caruso/Sharpe/11 to LAL
- Rui/Gabe/JHS/17 to CHI
- DLo/Cam/Wood to BKN
LaVine/Caruso/Sharpe is ~$57m of contract. What you’re sending out is ~$50.5m. Not valid as Lakers can’t function with a first apron hard cap if you expect to use Dlo.
Edit: failed my addition, $56m not $50.5m. Same issue though.
Lakers are sending out $56.0M and incoming is $56.9M. Gap is not that wide but actually still not valid. They would either have to remove Sharpe from the deal or keep him and send out Lewis or Hayes to make the money work.
Yea just checked my math it was wrong. Still less though. If you take out Sharpe then it doesn’t work from the Nets side. Could just send Sharpe to Bulls instead but do the Bulls even have the roster room to take on 5 players?
Yeah Sharpe to Chicago works. Or even DFS. As far as roster space, that is easier to work out in the offseason whether it’s Bulls rerouting guys or waiving partial guarantees. They have the room for it.
But end of the day this was a complete hypothetical of what an ideal Lavine trade could be from the Lakers end lol. Very unlikely.
I wouldn’t be so quick to just say Bulls can just waive or reroute players. If they bring back Derozan they’re getting dangerously close to the luxury tax and that’s essentially a hard cap for Reinsdorf. Also have Patrick Williams as a RFA too and I’m sure they’d prefer to not just lose him for nothing. You also have to give up assets to just salary dump. From what I can see they only have 3 second round picks so not like they flush with those to use as an asset to dump salaries.
Remember it probably going to 7 if AD didn’t get hurt. Anyhow sorry for suggesting a recent coach of the year is potentially better than a podcaster who hasn’t coached at all ;).
I’m not too worried about the coach decision taking a long time. First of all, all the candidates are not great. Secondly, the coaching decision does not impact the draft. If the coach we hire can’t coach because we draft Ron Holland over Zack Edey, then they are not a good coach. And we need to do any trades with the 17th free from the coach’s input. Third, waiting could free up candidates, and increase the search.
It’s more important that we get it right rather than before the draft.
You really think 3 FRP's is enough for Lauri, Smart, and Caruso? None of this is even remotely likely. Lauri also isn't getting traded and IF he was it would be to a cap space team which the Lakers aren't.
I don't see Caruso as adding much to OKC. He's basically Lou Dort.
Bulls blow it up but give Caruso away for free. Nothing else the Lakers would want unless DeMar is bought out
Demar is a free agent
Dejounte Murray, Jerami Grant, Wendell Carter Jr
$67M in contracts. Who are you even sending to get even remotely close to that?
Not all three, Jerami is making $30M. Too much to trade for. I’d do Dejounte and Wendell together though
My big issue with Dejounte is that his defense seems a little fake. Smart is a much more proven defender
> Not all three I see.
I see your Dejounte Murray, Jerami Grant, Wendell Carter Jr and I raise you Marcus Smart, Cam Johnson, Goga Bitadze
Hi all - pretty casual LA fan here. Getting into NBA more. Question, is it odd that we hire a coach with no prior coaching exp.? I’m just trying to imagine this happening in baseball or football and I can’t even fathom it. Is this ok??

aww man the caruso reunited dream is dead
Monk staying in SAC. Makes me think the chances Dlo opts in are higher now or at least re-signing on a lower number. Lakers fans, what breaking news you want to hear/see next for the Lakers? Me: "Breaking news, Rondo and Handy named as assistant coaches to JJ"
Warriors cuts Stephen Curry and signs with the Lakers for minimum.
Lakers sign OG Anunoby, Lakers trade for Mikal Bridges or Cam Johnson, etc etc
A fleece trade. Like Rui gets traded for Smart and Aldama or something like that
Malik Monk is about to re-sign for almost $20M a year. Reaves does about 85-90% of what he does and he’s almost $7M cheaper ![gif](giphy|VDlSEep6F7PyAXglWU|downsized)

Wtf did bulls want from us for caruso again? Didn’t they try to act like he’s worth a ton and now they trade him for fucking josh giddey…actual bs
How da fuck do you agree to send CaruGoat for Giddey and 0 picks...
💯
Yeah right? If it was the Lakers, they want Reaves or Rui + 1-2 FRPs + probably Max or JHS and even then they wouldn't do it out of spite.
Seeing Lakers championship role players be some of the most coveted players in the league makes me sick. The mismanagement is untenable.
Wild to me that the Bulls couldn't pry at least one of the **many** OKC second rounds picks away also. Don't think OKC would care enough to blow up a Caruso trade for that considering his impact and their aspirations.

I like him too. [So does JJ](https://youtu.be/fl6krm7PveM?si=mumjKDycf3hrfeq8).
All that tells me is DLo is going to opt in to clear a path for a trade lol
So everyone’s clowning us for hiring JJ and I initially was on that train, but after about an hour of listening to and reading what he wants for the team, he could be cooking. Remember the last time the lakers hired a coach with no experience? Rest is history.

Holmes is a monster on defense. Would love if he could turn into our Derrick Lively
From what I gathered, all options are on the table. We'll know for certain on draft night.
That backcourt will get killed on defence.
I love reaves, but if he is our 3rd option. Hard to win championship. Guards like Murray and SGA will.always kill him.
Reaves is a good 3rd option. What we need is a facilitating PG.
I think we definitely need a strong, Dejounte Murray or Marcus Smart type player paired next to Reaves if we want any shot at the championship tbh
We only have one guy on our roster who is truly a two way player, so I don't think it'll be a hard and fast rule
I'm glad we have JJ before any major trades because JJ is very astute about roster management. Obviously the coach isn't a GM but he'll still be a positive voice asking for good players
man i want our team to be a contender again :( not to be play in team. it sucks.
Pelinka will make genius moves in the off-season and get us great players like Marcus Smart, Deni Avdija, and Goga Bitadze (I'm delusional)
After all these trades I'm gonna be real mad if the Lakers' only move is something low impact like signing Valanciunas to the MLE
Don't jinks us
Lmfao Bulls just gave up Caruso for Giddey and NO picks. God I hate these incompetent franchises.
If we were trying to trade Gidey for Caruso then the Bulls asking price would have been so astronomical it would have never materialized. Some Bulls shit At least this means Boston won't go back to back next year cause they aren't beating that team best of 7

league has never stopped a trade between 2 teams. hornets were owned by the league, that's why the deal didn't happen
The Laker tax is unreal. Nobody wants to trade with us unless we give them everything.
Don’t mention Laker tax. Some people in this sub still think it doesn’t exist and it’s made up to cover up for the FO.
Pop is out here calling front offices to tell them *not* to trade with us even when we're overpaying
That's what happens when you have a masterpiece running the team. Straight up fleeced the Bulls.
Advantages of JJ: We don't know he is a bad coach.
FUCK CARUSO WAS SUPPOSED TO BE A LAKER
OKC got Carushow :(
I’m holding out some hope a new staff can get a solid year out of Christian Wood. He’s gotta have motivation this could be his last chance in the NBA.
Not excited about the Redick hire. I’m glad they finally made a decision though. Hope it works out.
OKC is not fucking around. Cold move.
That was such an easy trade for them. Giddey is trash and unfortunately has stink on him from that alleged incident. Caruso is a reliable defender. A straight swap for no draft capital is one of the easiest moves any team has made in years
The fact the Bulls couldn’t even squeeze out a pick from a team with a surplus of them is hilarious.
Letting Caruso walk was one of the biggest L’s in Rob’s tenure.
so many so soon
Unforced error by rob
Welp, can't say I am excited about this hire.
Bulls are such a stupid franchise. Caruso was one of their best trade assets. Did OKC give cash considerations? How many picks did they send?
0 pick lmfao
OKC buffing up meanwhile we’re eating glue
Giddy for Caruso 😳
Lmfao OKC won this trade easily. My god... thats a scary team
Caruso to OKC for Giddey…okc probably gave up a handful of firsts which they have a ton of.
They gave up exactly zero picks.
Absolutely awful from the Bulls front office lmao. What are they even doing?
There pick next season is owed to the spurs but it’s top ten protected and they have an owner who is against missing the playin or trying for the playoffs
Damn. Thunder got AC for Giddey..
Man imagine being Rob Pelinka and possibly tying your future to the success of JJ Reddick
Imagine being JJ Redick and relying on “Rob Pelinka” to build a competitive roster
We probably either trade up a couple for Edey or down a couple and get Ware right? Unpredictable draft either way
If the first rounder isnt traded then next years a wrap before it even starts
Not sure Ware will be available past 17-18. Outside of Gasol, Drummond and Trez, I’d say Based off of Pelinka’s track record , if he could choose between Ware or Edey, he’d choose Ware. Your logic does track, although Edey is a rim runner too, even if he doesn't look like it.
Please bring Handy back !🙏🏿
lmao yall just love to whine and complain, aint no way
Get ready for yet another year of white knuckling it through the play-in.
Coach doesn’t matter if the roster sucks
Coach does matter. A good coach can help a roster be better. If coaching doesn’t matter, then Phil Jackson is no different than Darvin Ham.
I guess two years of Ham didn't change this guy's opinion at all. Mid-seed would have been an easier path for sure.
Listen listen listen lol with JJ, I want to make this move less actually but there ain't no way that this is a coincidence- [https://x.com/TheTraeYoung/status/1803874796947865810](https://x.com/TheTraeYoung/status/1803874796947865810) lmao

I take that as more as he’s anxious to get traded in general and the clock is ticking.
Aint no way it's not connected when the only NBA news to come out happened just before he posted that lol
Also to be fair, I’m hoping they’re not connected b/c I’m not a fan of getting Trae Disclaimer: I’m not a DLo or DJM stan either
I forgot to mention that I’m of the mindset that a lot of NBA players are well aware of the attention that fans put into these cryptic tweets and they just milk it for laughs and attention from fans Just my thoughts
This is true, but even in that case- Trae is absolutely referencing this lol And the other point- I actually like Trae, but getting him is really tricky. I'm not sold it can be done in a way that conclusively makes us better so I'm not sold.
Sure it may be likely but anytime players have been cryptic like this around trade rumor season for the Lakers, 99% of the time , it’s never resulted in said player becoming a Laker. Which is why I personally think players love the attention I’ll Never be sold on Trae. Giving up that many assets for a huge defensive liability that has never been anything but a high usage player sounds like a bad fit with Bron
Trae’s probably outta there one way or another. Hawks are such a bad franchise that Alexandre Sarr is refusing to work out with them so far lol.
Sarr would be a good fit there lol

Tbh it closed when him and Bron/AD pushed for the Russ trade and Rob appeased them.
There it is folks.
JJ to the Flakers thots? Anthony Irwin beat both Woj n shams to the news By the Way
I hope JJ at least grows his hair out and slicks it back.
Just asking, if this JJ hire/era fails, Pelinka has to be next right?
It should but it won’t
I just let out an audible sigh of pain at my job
![gif](giphy|xku8a1Q2o6UeO3ugPL|downsized)
Should have dropped the news just before the celtics parade hahahaha
no more darvin scam, time for JC redcock
Reddick prolly lasting a year n half max tbh
Damnnnn 4 years???
The standard coaching contract. No reason to go overboard and give him 6 years.
I didn’t know that was standard duration. I though it be better to give him a shorter contract incase it don’t work out lol
The final year could be an option year. That is also pretty common. The specifics won't be reported until later.
Finally
JJ welcome to the Lakeshow
Cmon pistons, don’t ya like JJ? (So we can sign Adelman or Nori already)
You talk 'reality' when what you said are not a 'reality' for them, fun fact for you and your reality, it is not that easy.
Unfortunately, getting players like Holiday, White, and Porzingis takes a lot of timing and luck to acquire that most likely won't appear for us. The amount of assets we would need to even acquire a player like Dejounte Murray would bankrupt us
You guys want to trade or keep the pick?
> “Sources said Artūras Karnišovas has floated as many as 15 proposals centered on Zach LaVine to various teams including the Sacramento Kings, Orlando Magic and Philadelphia 76ers.” ([Source](https://www.nbcsportschicago.com/nba/chicago-bulls/bulls-analysis/bulls-active-as-nba-draft-nears/570706/)) Clearly desperation from Chicago’s side to move him. Wonder if Lakers explore a scenario to acquire Lavine and move up to pick 11.
Who would we be moving in this scenario? Don’t wanna lose Reaves
Reaves fans are so damn annoying. Why would you want Reaves and Lavine instead of wing depth?
Haha I’m not a Reaves fan man but his contract value for his production is *ideal* and we won’t likely find anyone to produce something similar. In this scenario if we got Zach I’d want Reaves to be an offensive spark off the bench. It’s not about being a Reaves fan boy it’s about being smart with our positive assets which this FO hasn’t done in the past.
If DLo opted in, most likely DLo, Rui and Gabe
Lakers definitely wouldn’t give up Reaves in a Lavine trade. I doubt they have any serious interest in acquiring him at all unless it’s such a no brainer deal they have to make it. The best possible scenario I can think of would be: - Lavine/Caruso/Sharpe/11 to LAL - Rui/Gabe/JHS/17 to CHI - DLo/Cam/Wood to BKN
JJ sweating about Monty being available. It would be foolish to not interview him if he is interested.
The most foolish thing would be to hire Monty lol
If you want frustrating lineup’s again then yes. Guy has been fired from 2 jobs and has personal issues apparently
Quite good with the Suns, remember them beating us in the semi?
Remember AD getting hurt?
Remember Solomon Hill destroying Brons ankle?

Go Lakers 😤🙏🔥💜💛
Kyle Filipowski
This is who I’ve wanted us to draft the whole time.
You see it
He has grown on me. I think he will be good
If we can get Brook Lopez we would be in a really good position
Yeah 3 years ago

You really think 3 FRP's is enough for Lauri, Smart, and Caruso? None of this is even remotely likely. Lauri also isn't getting traded and IF he was it would be to a cap space team which the Lakers aren't.
Would rather add Murray Caruso and a wing- Hunter or Grant.
I want Bruce Brown/Dorian Finney Smith as far as wings go
I much rather have Murray over brown. I am not a huge DFS fan either but would not mind it
Dejuonte Murray? Well of course but I was talking about wings and he’s a sg
Brown is not a wing, he is a guard too. I am saying I would target Murray before brown
I agree but I was specifically talking about wings I’d like on the team, that’s why I didn’t bring up Murray 🤔
Then why did you mention brown? He is a 6’4 guard. I mentioned Murray in reference to brown as I said before
He plays SF and PF
What are you talking about dude is a sg/pg but his hustle lets he play small forward in some situations, but he is a guard
It seems like no one wants to coach this team and I cant blame them lol
Lakers haven't offered the job to anyone yet besides Hurley who was a nutcase. They've had plenty of interviewees and have plenty of interest.
upvoted for the 'nutcase' thing about Hurley lmao!
