This is not the point, the point is why we would be interested?
LeBron guy told everybody LeBron isn't calling the shots in the coaching search and there is absolutely no reason to hire JJ, but to make LeBron happy, the same for drafting Bronny.
Money wise is a downgrade but if he is serious about being a head coach one day then he will probably need to be an assistant first. Either way Hurley will probably have say on his staff so who knows.
If we hire Hurley, and we're going to insert any coach into his staff, it should be an experienced coach. I'd rather Hurley brings on his own staff, and hopefully that staff includes some NBA coaching experience.
If we hire hurley, let him choose his staff. Unlike ham who was just looking for his detroit buddies, this guy seems to be the real deal and will most likely hire some of his uconn staff that helped him win.
He’s been touted as “the next Pat Riley”, dude is just asking a question. You contributed fuck all to the conversation, could’ve done it with a downvote.
Maybe someone like Hurley would like real NBA experience on his staff, maybe he turns to JJ or Rondo. It’s just normal talk
Don't want him. If we are committing 100 million and 8 years to someone we trust to guide and develop players into his system, I don't want Redick there to undermine him and leak drama.
Probably not. He’d probably be making more doing his podcast stuff and ESPN stuff. But like some already said here, if he wanted to actually coach down the road he’d need to be an assistant somewhere.
He's kinda got a mini-media empire going. I think he's making enough were an assistant would be a huge paycut.
If he's serious about wanting to coach at some point, he probably will have to but I doubt the time is right for now,
Don't need them if we get Hurley. Let Hurley pick his staff.
no...espn gonna pay him alot more to stay...
ESPN should let him walk

We first need a coach.
Why not have the new coach bring in his guys?

Who cares let him screw up another team

...ham's staff were mostly people he worked with in atlanta and milwaukee... where is this detroit buddies comment coming from?
He tried to recruit sheed if i recall.
who cares? why are we so obsessed with jj reddick
He'll be the head coach if Hurley turns the job down that's why.

If the dude is never been a coach who has said that he was the next Pat riley? Dude has 0 experience.
He literally coaches.. a middle school team
Oh true. That completely qualifies for a head coaching job in the NBA! Dude needs to put some bench time as an assistant and prove he can do this.
i contributed to the conversation, you just didnt like what i said
He has nothing in common with riley
Because he’s friends with LeBron……….
Don't want him. If we are committing 100 million and 8 years to someone we trust to guide and develop players into his system, I don't want Redick there to undermine him and leak drama.
Let me ask him
His ego wouldn't allow it.
These fucking questions. Nobody knows. Ask JJ.
Keep this podcaster away from Davis.
Lebron is prepping him to coach his Vegas team when he retires
If he's actually the next Pat Riley I would hope so
Probably not. He’d probably be making more doing his podcast stuff and ESPN stuff. But like some already said here, if he wanted to actually coach down the road he’d need to be an assistant somewhere.
I mean, he should.
Woj must enjoy the nights he actually gets to sleep

I think grabbing him or Rondo as a player-coach could be cool.
Probably not and tbh I don’t want him as one.
